LF Inspiration Week: A Little Sparkle

Hi friends! I hope you're having a good weekend so far!

I have a card to share with you today that features the A Little Sparkle stamp set. The unicorn in this set is so cute! For my card today, I used a mirror stamping technique to add a unicorn looking the other way!

My favorite part of this card is the lightly ink blended background created with the Sunrise Backdrop die. I really like that you can leave the inside die cut pieces in the background to make it a smooth backdrop with details.

I added a few clouds along the bottom with the Puffy Cloud Border die and a few clear sequins in the sky. I used the Fancy Wavy Banners die for the sentiment and stamped the sentiment in black ink.

Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel for a video on how to recreate this card. It's one of my favorite from this inspiration week!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and check back again tomorrow for more inspiration! :)

Magical Day with Hello Bluebird

Hello!! I have another card to share with you this week that features the cute Unicorn Tales stamp set from Hello Bluebird!

I started by creating the cloudy backdrop. I die cut four pieces of white cardstock with the Puffy Cloud borders die from Lawn Fawn and lightly inked them with distress oxide inks. I attached the layers with double sided tape. Then, I stamped, colored, and die cut the unicorns and stars with the coordinating die cuts. The unicorns are attached with foam tape and the stars are attached with liquid glue. Then, I finished the card by stamping a sentiment in the lower right corner. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day! :)

Hello Friend with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I have a card to share today that features the Unicorn Tales stamp set from Hello Bluebird.

I created a simple inked background with Distress Oxide inks. I added two clouds to the bottom part of the card which are cut from the Puffy Cloud borders from Lawn Fawn.

The unicorn, shooting stars, and stars are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I used quite a few markers to make the unicorn mane and tails a rainbow! It turned out so pretty!

The sentiment is from the Hello Friend Words die. I die cut the "friend" part of the sentiment from black cardstock and glued two layers together. The "hello" is cut from white cardstock and lightly ink blended to give it a gradient look.

I hope you like the card! I have a few more cards featuring Hello Bluebird products that I will share in the next few weeks.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Layered Butterflies

Good morning! I hope that you are enjoying all of the inspiration this week on the Lawn Fawn blog!

Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the Layered Butterflies die. These butterflies are so cute! For this card, I used the Spring Sparkle cardstock paired with Ballet Slipper, Sunflower, Freshly Cut Grass, Mermaid, and Sugarplum cardstock to create the butterflies. I also used the Black Licorice cardstock for the butterfly bodies.

To create the background, I used the Puffy Cloud borders to create a stencil cut from acetate. I used the stencil and Distress Oxide ink to ink blend a cloudy background. I arranged the butterflies on the sky and glued them in place. Then, I used a sentiment from the Hello Sunshine set to heat emboss the hello onto black cardstock and die cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner die.

Thanks so much for visiting! Stop by again tomorrow for more inspiration! I hope you all have a great day!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Rainy Backdrop

Hi there! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Rainy Backdrop dies!

For my card, I used the Puffy Cloud Borders die as a stencil to ink blend a stormy sky with Distress Oxide inks. Then, I used the Rainy Backdrop: Portrait die to die cut the rain drops on the inked cardstock. I layered a piece of Narwhal cardstock behind the background.

I die cut a piece of cardstock with the Stitched Hillside Border and ink blended it with light green ink. Behind it, I layered another piece of cardstock cut with the Simple Grassy Hillsides die. I die cut a piece of white cardstock from the Peekaboo Backdrop die, cut out the inside frames, and attached it around the scene. Then, I used the images from the Oh, Gnome! set to create the scene. All of the images are colored with Copic markers and most of them are attached with foam tape.

I also used the Rain or Shine Before 'n Afters set to add some clouds to the sky and to create the sentiment. Here's a close up look at the card:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed the cards so far. I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration! :)

Lawn Fawn Black Friday Special

Hi everyone! I hope that you all have a great Thanksgiving this year! There's so much to be thankful for and I hope you were able to take time to thank God for everything he has blessed us with!

I have a card to share with you today that features a Black Friday special mini set from Lawn Fawn! This special set is available at the Lawn Fawn store. Orders over $35 will receive the free stamp set, and orders over $60 will receive the coordinating dies. Plus, shipping is free on all U.S. orders! Yay!

The unicorn and fairies in this set are so cute!! I started by stamping the images onto white cardstock with Jet Black ink and coloring with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

The background is created with Distress Oxide inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber for the yellow card, and Abandoned Coral and Worn Lipstick for the pink card. I also used the Cole's ABCs die cut to cut out the letters for the word "sparkles" and inked them with the same Distress Oxide inks.

I took a piece of white cardstock, cut it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die to add detail to the outside, and also used the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables in the middle. I used the Puffy Cloud Borders to cut clouds from vellum and the Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock and layered them behind the scalloped circle. Then, I attached the cardstock with foam tape over top of the card base with the inked background.

The first part of the sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I glued the "sparkles" letters to the card and attached the rest of the sentiment with foam tape. Then, I attached the unicorn and fairies with foam tape, and I finished the card by adding a few heart and star embellishments from the Coconut Ice Sparkle Shaker selection. I also used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to add glitter to the unicorn and the "sparkles" letters, but it's hard to see that in the photos.

These cards are so cute and I can't wait to sent them to friends! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration with this cute set! And don't forget to order this special set, because it's only available until November 26th!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day! :)

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Winter Unicorn

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week so far! It is definitely starting to feel like fall here! The leaves are changing colors, there are pumpkins on every porch, and the weather is getting cooler! Yay - fall is my favorite! :)

Also, the Lawn Fawn inspiration week starts today - yay!

Today, we are focusing on the Winter Unicorn and the Winter Big Scripty Words. The unicorn set is so cute, and it goes really well with this sentiment from the Merry Messages set!

I started by stamping the unicorn and Santa hat (from Toboggan Together) and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut the background panel and the clouds from the Dotted Rectangle dies and Puffy Cloud Borders, and inked the bottom portion with Mermaid Ink. The sentiment is cut from Mermaid card stock with the Everyday Banner dies, and the sentiment is stamped in Yeti Ink. Everything is attached with foam tape, and I added some stickles and sequins for some extra details. I also used the small heart included in the set to stamp on the unicorn.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration from the design team and also enter for a chance to win this set! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

*If you are looking for my Lawnscaping post, continue scrolling or click here.

Hello again! I'm so excited to be sharing a card on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning! Father's Day is coming up soon, so here is a cute Father's Day card!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Yay, Kites" stamp and dies, "Mom & Me" for the sentiment, "Clark's ABCs," "Hats Off to You," "Baaah Humbug," "Puffy Cloud Border" die, some Lawn Fawn patterned paper, and Wild rose and Mermaid inks. I started by masking a rectangle onto my card base. Then, I die cut a puffy cloud border to use as a mask for inking my background. The Mermaid ink is perfect to use in the sky! I stamped and die cut the images from patterned paper and attached everything with foam tape. I stamped the hearts in the Wildrose ink, and finished by stamping the sentiment in black ink. Here is a close up on the kites:

I think they're just so cute with their smiling faces! And I really like how the background clouds turned out!

Thanks for stopping by, and thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing my card this morning! I hope everyone has a great day! :)

Happy Easter Card with Sunny Studio Stamps

Hi everyone! I'm back to share a card with you that features Sunny Studio Stamp's "A Good Egg" stamp set and die!

I used some light blue card stock for the card base, and die cut some grassy hills from green card stock by using Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Hillside Borders" and "Puffy Cloud Borders," I then stamped the images from "A Good Egg" onto white card stock and colored the images with Prismacolor pencils. I also added some details with a white gel pen.

I attached the chicks and baskets with foam tape, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and added some green twine to the top of the card! Those chicks are just so cute!

I hope that your week is going well! Check out the Sunny Studio Stamps blog for some more inspiration! :)

Lawnscaping #123 - Sending Love

Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend! We were able to spend some time outside yesterday because it was about 55 degrees! That's a heat wave for central PA in January! The rest of this week is suppose to be fairly nice as well! I feel like we're getting spoiled with this nice weather!

Anyways, it's the first Monday in February, which means it's time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This challenge is to use hearts or love sentiments on your projects, so this is the card that I created:

I haven't used that airplane set in such a long time! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" and "Riley's ABCs" stamp set, "Heart," "Scripty Love" and "Puffy Cloud Borders" dies. I also used Wild Rose ink and patterned paper from the Beachside petite paper pack.

Here is a close up on the card:

I hope that you're able to play along with the challenge this week! The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)

Nursery Banners

Hi everyone!! I hope that you had a good weekend! The schools in our area start this week, which means my husband has to go back to school - boo! It's been so nice to have him home this summer!

This morning, I have a fun project to share with you that is featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog! My sister-in-law is due in September, so I made this banner for one of her baby showers and for her to hang in the nursery when baby Emma gets here!

Her nursery theme is hot air balloons, so Lawn Fawn's "Blue Skies" stamp and dies were perfect for this banner! Here is a close up on the banner:

The banner also features "Stitched Party Banners," "Puffy Cloud Borders," "Finley's ABCs" and "Hearts" dies. I also used patterned paper from the "Let's Polka" collection for the hot air balloons.

I also made a second banner to decorate the nursery with. I used the "Hearts" and "Blue Skies" dies to cut out quite a few images from card stock and patterned paper. Then, I used my sewing machine to sew all of the images together. The banner is so cute in person! I might try this again with some different images!

Well, thanks for stopping by, and thank you Kelly Marie for sharing these banners on the Lawn Fawn Blog! Have a good day! :)

Lawnscaping #112 - Embossing

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a good weekend! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge! :)

The challenge this week is to create a card or project with embossing - either heat, dry, texture paste, or anything else! I decided to do some dry embossing with my Lawn Fawn dies!

I created the background by using Lawn Fawn's "Puffy Cloud Borders" die and dry embossed with my Big Shot. Then, I cut out the panel with the "Stitched Square Stackables" and inked the panel with the Mermaid ink. I think it looks a lot better in person (this photo didn't turn out very well - oh well, next time!). Then, I added the sentiment and hearts by using some pink patterned paper and "Finley's ABCs," "Hearts" dies, and "Fintastic Friends" and "Let's BBQ" stamp sets (for the "is in the").

I hope that you're able to play along because the winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn! :)

Thanks again for stopping by, and have a great day! :)
