LF Inspiration Week: Lift the Flap Meadow

Hello! I hope that you're having a good day today and that you're staying safe! My husband is a teacher, so he is now at home preparing for online classes next week. My kids love having him home all day!

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the Lift the Flap Meadow die. This is such a fun die that helps create interactive cards.

I created a scene with Lawn Fawn cardstock. I used Moonstone cardstock cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die for the sky, Noble Fir cut with the Simple Grassy Hillside die for the background grass, and Cilantro cut with the Stitched Hillside Border die for the front grass. For the tree stump, I used Paper Bag cardstock and the grass flaps were also cut with Cilantro cardstock.

After creating the background scene, I stamped and colored the images from the Some Bunny and cut them with the coordinating die cuts. I stamped the sentiment in the sky, and attached the flowers behind the grass with glue. The bunnies are attached with foam tape, and the eggs and carrots are attached with liquid glue. It's so fun that the grass flaps can hid the images behind them! And I really like the hidden images in the stump!

Here's another view of some of the hidden images. My three year old was a great hand model, haha!

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! Thanks so much for visiting today! :)

Hello Adventure with Spellbinders

Hi friends! I hope you all had a great week! Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? We are getting ready for a charity trivia night! I doubt we'll win, but we're looking forward to fun evening together with friends.

I have a card to share with you today that features the Adventure Time Snapshot Etched Dies from Spellbinders. These dies are part of the Scenic Snapshots Collection.

I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn cardstock to create this card including Noble Fir, Blue Jay, Narwhal, Chocolate Bar, and Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock for the snow capped mountains. The sky is spritzed with some Liquid Stardust and the grass has flecks of black ink. To add some extra dimension, I added the pine trees to the scene with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the scene:

I hope this inspires you to create some fun adventure cards! My sons favorite part is that little campfire and I really like those tiny stars.

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On

Hi everyone! I have another card to share that was featured during Lawn Fawn's October Inspiration Week! This card features the Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On die.

The die works great with the Shadow Box Card die, but you can also use it on its own, or with the Center Picture Window Card die. I ink blended a night sky with distress oxide inks. I added the mountains cut from Dolphin cardstock and the trees cut from Noble Fir cardstock.

For the center picture window, I used acetate to make the scene see through! It was a little tricky to adhere, but it looks really neat! The inside scene features the yeti from Yeti or Not.

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Tiny Gift Box Peacock

Hi friends! The Lawn Fawn release week continues today with a look at the new Tiny Gift Box Peacock and Turkey Add-On die.

This die works with the Tiny Gift box and can be made into a peacock or a turkey. I love that you can get two different looks with the same die! I used the die today to create a peacock.

I used a variety of Lawn Fawn cardstocks to create the peacock including Blue Jay, Peacock, Cilantro, Ballet Slipper, Fake Tan, and Sunflower. It's a little tedious to put all of the little pieces together, but it's pretty straightforward. My favorite part of this die is that the box opens when you pull on the center feather. So cute!

Thanks for visiting this week and for all of your sweet comments! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, August 22nd! I can't wait to see what everyone makes with the new goodies! :)

Hello Friend Card with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a good weekend so far! It's rainy and cold here today, so we're planning on staying inside all day.

I have a card to share with you today that features a few stamp sets from Hello Bluebird!

The birds are all from the Silly Birds stamp set. I stamped them onto 80 lb. Neenah cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I attached the birds with foam tape to a quick scene created from Mermaid cardstock and Cilantro cardstock cut from the Grassy Border die by Lawn Fawn

The sentiment is from the Cheery Greetings stamp set, which is one of my favorite sentiment sets! The scene is attached to a piece of patterned paper cut to 4" x 5 1/4", and then attached with double sided tape to a white card base. Here's a close up on the scene:

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Layered Butterflies

Good morning! I hope that you are enjoying all of the inspiration this week on the Lawn Fawn blog!

Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the Layered Butterflies die. These butterflies are so cute! For this card, I used the Spring Sparkle cardstock paired with Ballet Slipper, Sunflower, Freshly Cut Grass, Mermaid, and Sugarplum cardstock to create the butterflies. I also used the Black Licorice cardstock for the butterfly bodies.

To create the background, I used the Puffy Cloud borders to create a stencil cut from acetate. I used the stencil and Distress Oxide ink to ink blend a cloudy background. I arranged the butterflies on the sky and glued them in place. Then, I used a sentiment from the Hello Sunshine set to heat emboss the hello onto black cardstock and die cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner die.

Thanks so much for visiting! Stop by again tomorrow for more inspiration! I hope you all have a great day!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Year Nine and Llama Tell You

Good morning everyone! I'm back again today to share a few cards with you for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

My first card features the Year Nine stamp set. How cute are those tacos?!

The tacos are stamped in black ink and colored with Copic markers. I added a birthday hat onto each of the tacos so that they can celebrate! For the sentiment, I used Finley's ABC's die cut from black cardstock to make a big, bold sentiment. The rest of the sentiment is included in the Year Nine stamp set. I arranged the tacos and sentiment onto a piece of Spiffy Speckles patterned paper and attached it to a 4 1/2" square card base.

My next card features the Llama Tell You stamp set. I mirror stamped the llama so that there could be two llamas looking at each other! The sentiment is a combination of Finley's ABC's cut from black cardstock and a Simple Wavy Banner cut from Apricot cardstock.

The scene is created with Mermaid, Noble Fir, and Cilantro cardstock cut from the Stitched Cloud Backdrop, Simple Grassy Hillsides, and Simple Stitched Hillside Borders respectively. I also used the Outside In Stitched Circle Stackable to create the window for the llama scene. Here's a close up on the card:

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration featuring these two stamp sets.

Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Fancy Lattice Backdrop

Hi there! I hope you all had a great week! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing inspiration for the Fancy Lattice Backdrop die!

This backdrop die is so pretty! I die cut two pieces of cardstock for each card and off set the layers to create a fun background.

For these cards, I used the spring sparkle cardstocks behind the no 2. pencil, pencil eraser, and sage leaf cardstock. These cards are so pretty with the glitter cardstock behind the solid colors. For the sentiment, I used the Scripty Thanks die, Simple Wavy Banners, and the Wavy Sayings stamp set. Here's a close up on the cards:

LF Inspiration Week: Fancy Wavy Banners

Good morning everyone! Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues today with a look at the new banner dies!

I used the Fancy Wavy Banners, along with the Wavy Sayings stamp set and Scripty Thanks die, to create this quick and easy thank you card set.

I also used apricot cardstock for the banners and the no. 2 pencil, pencil eraser, and sage leaf cardstock for the backgrounds. For the backgrounds, I dry embossed the cardstocks with the Fancy Lattice Backdrop die. It gives the look of the backdrop without the mess of the little die cut pieces, haha! Here's a closer look at the background:

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great week! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Flower Frame and Outside In Stitched Flower

Hi everyone! I've been a little quite on the blog lately as we adjust to being a family of five! Things are going well and we're slowly adjusting to everything. I was able to carve out a little bit of time recently to create a card set to share with you today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

This card set is so cute and it features the Stitched Flower Frame and Outside In Stitched Flower dies from Lawn Fawn.

The flowers are all created with different colors of cardstock from Lawn Fawn. I also used the Simple Wavy Banners and Wavy Sayings to add the sentiment on each card. The sentiment banner is cut from the new Apricot cardstock - it's so pretty! Here's a close up on the cards:

This mini cards are perfect to create as a gift!

LF Inspiration Week: Be Hap-pea

Hi there! I hope that you're enjoying all of the design team projects for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, we are sharing projects that feature the new Be Hap-pea stamp set!

For my first card today, I created a clean and simple birthday card! I lightly ink blended some pink ink in the middle of a white cardstock panel. I added the pea pod, peas, speech bubbles, and leaves which are all stamped in black ink and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is stamped and cut from Spiffy Speckles cardstock and the "birthday" is white heat embossed on black cardstock. Then, I stamped a few hearts and music notes around the images. Here is a close up on the card:

My second card might be my favorite one! I used the Cole's ABCs die cut from Raspberry cardstock to create a big, bold sentiment.

The pea pods, speech bubbles, and the welcome sentiment are all attached with foam tape. The background paper is from the Spiffy Speckles patterned paper collection. I finished the card by stamping a few hearts in Wild Rose ink.

These cards are both quick and easy to create, but they're both so cute! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration. And don't forget - all of the new products will be available tomorrow in the Lawn Fawn store! Thanks so much for visiting and for all of your sweet comments this week! Have a great day!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Apple Frames

Happy Saturday! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? My husband starts school next week, so I think we're just going to relax and enjoy the last slow weekend before school starts. And I'll make him do a few more projects before summer is over, haha!

Anyways, Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Stitched Apple Frames and Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables! I cut these tags from different colors of Lawn Fawn cardstock including Cilantro, Sticky Note, Chili Pepper, Vanilla Malt, Black Licorice, Noble Fir, Paper Bag, and the new gold glitter cardstock from the Holiday Sparkle pack. The rest of the sentiment is from the So Owlsome stamp set. I also used a hold punch to add a hole near the top and I tied Lime Lawn Trimmings for the string.

These turned out so cute and these would be adorable to add to a teacher gift! There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so don't forget to check it out! Thanks so much for visiting!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: I Scream, You Scream

Hi everyone! It's time again for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Yay!

Today, I have a card that features the I Scream, You Scream dies.

I used Ballet Slipper, Sunflower, Cilantro, Mermaid, and Chocolate Bar cardstock for the ice cream and cone. I also used coordinating inks to add a little bit of ink blending along the edges of the cardstock. I die cut the smiley faces and bite mark from the ice cream, and then added a piece of Black Licorice cardstock behind each ice cream scoop.

For the sentiment, I used Riley's ABCs stamped in black ink. I attached the ice cream with foam tape, added a few clear sequins, layered some Really Rainbow patterned paper behind the white cardstock panel, added some details with a white gel pen, and tied some Silver Sparkle Lawn Trimmings along the top. Here's a close up on the card:

I also have another card that I created that features the I Scream, You Scream dies and it's perfect for Father's Day! You can check it out here.

Check out more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! Now I'm getting hungry for ice cream.... :)
