Hello Playful Puppies with Pretty Pink Posh

Hello friends! I hope that you all had a great weekend! We enjoyed some beautiful weather, time with our church family, and finishing some random projects at home.

I'm sharing a card today that features the Playful Puppies stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.

I started by stamping the images onto white cardstock and coloring them with Copic markers. I die cut the sentiment from black cardstock with the Hello Friend Words die from Hello Bluebird. Once my sentiment and images were cut out, I started creating the background by cutting a white panel and ink blending a simple scene with blue and green inks. I attached the panel to a white card stock, added the puppy and images with foam tape, and used liquid glue to attached the sentiment. I finished the card by stamping a few pink hearts above the puppy. Here's another look at the card:

That little puppy is so adorable! I hope you like the card and thanks for visiting today! :)

Hello, You're Awesome Card

Hi everyone! I have another card to share today that was inspired by the Day 2 lesson for the Online Card Class Spring Card Camp! This is my first card class and it's been fun to participate in the lessons when I get a chance. After watching todays lesson, my kids and I wanted to give the technique a try, so we used Distress Oxide inks to make a striped card!

My card features a ton of different oxide colors and they are all linked below. I used low tack tape to mask the background and ink blended the stripes. For a few of the stripes, I stamped some extra details with an older Simon Says Stamp set, Flower Friend. After ink blending the background, I die cut the panel with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn and stamped the sentiment from Hello Bluebird's Cheery Greetings stamp set. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks for visiting! Hope you all have a great day! :)

Well, Hello There with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope that you're week is going well so far! I have a card to share today that was featured in the Spring issue of the Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine!

I'm so honored to be published along side all of the amazing designers in the issue. You can view the issue for free on their website (click here)!

This card features the Field Mice set from Hello Bluebird. How cute are those mice carrying the strawberries!? To create the background, I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn to cut the sky from Watercolor Wishes patterned paper. For the grass, I used the Grassy Hillside Border die to cut three grassy hills from the Spring Fling patterned paper. I inked the top of the grass and edges of the sky with distress oxide inks to add some dimension to the scene. I attached everything to a white card base and then arranged the images onto the scene. I finished by stamping the sentiment at the top.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you like the card. Have a great day! :)

Rainbow Background with Erin Lee Creative

Hi friends! I hope that you all had a great weekend. Did you do anything fun at home? We had snow Friday and Saturday, so my kids were able to play in the snow. There wasn't a lot of snow, but they tried to go sled riding which didn't work, but it was entertaining to watch them try, haha!

I have a bunch of cards to share today that I created with the background stamp from the Somewhere kit by Erin Lee Creative!

I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and white heat embossed the rainbow background with white embossing powder. Then, I used a variety of Lawn Fawn inks to ink blend the rainbow background.

I attached the ink blended background to a piece of white cardstock that was cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. Then, I attached that panel to a white card base.

I finished the cards by added different sentiments die cut from black cardstock to make them pop against the colorful background.

The sentiments that I used are the Hello Friend Words die from Hello Bluebird, the Jesus Loves You die from Mighty Hands, and the Handwritten Thanks die from The Stamp Market.

I really liked the stitched border around those inked panels. Here's a closer look at the rainbow background.

I hope you enjoyed the cards that I shared today! Now, I need to send them in the mail to friends this week. :)

Have a great day everyone! :)

Fall Birds with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope that you're all having a great day so far. I have a card to share with you that features a few products from Hello Bluebird!

Hello Bluebird hosts a monthly challenge on Instagram, and the challenge this month was to create a card showing what we love about fall! My favorite part about fall is the beautiful leaves and cooler weather. I decided to use the Silly Birds stamp set to create my fall card. I love how versatile this set is - it can be used to create any season of card!

I stamped the birds in black ink and colored them with Copic markers in shades of brown. I used reds, oranges, and browns for the leaves and I also added a few pink hearts. The background is created by ink blended with distress oxide inks - Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Wild Honey. I also flicked some black ink to the background for some extra detail. The sentiment is die cut with the Hello Friend Words die in gold sparkle cardstock and the hello from the Silly Birds set is white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

I really like how this card turned out and I can't wait to send it to a friend this fall! Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you all have a great week! :)

Jungle Friends with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a great day today! We have two weeks left of summer here, so we are trying to squeeze in as much fun as we can before school starts.

Anyways, I have a fun jungle card to share with you that features products from Hello Bluebird!

The critters in this set are from the More Jungle Littles stamp set. Just like the end of my summer, I tried to squeeze in as many critters are I could, haha! All of the animals are stamped onto Neenah 80lb white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. For the background, I die cut the grass with the Simple Grassy Hillsides die from Lawn Fawn. Then, I used distress oxide inks to ink blend a sky and the grass, and I also added a few splatters with black ink for more details. Splattering ink is definitely outside of my crafty comfort zone, but I really like how it turned out!

I attached all of the grass and animals to the card base, and I added a few leaves behind the animals. Then, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Cheery Greetings stamp set. The "friend" square is also from that greetings stamp set, and it is attached with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you have a great week! :)

A Little Bird Birthday Card with Hello Bluebird

Hello friends!

I hope you're all having a great summer so far! Did you get a change to take any vacations or do anything fun yet? We recently took a short trip to Lancaster, PA to visit some of the local attractions and to just enjoy some time away. My kids favorite part, of course, was the hotel pool, haha!

Anyways, I have a birthday card to share with you today that features the Silly Birds stamp set from Hello Bluebird!

A friend recently asked me to create a birthday card for her with flamingos, so this set was perfect to use! I stamped and colored three flamingos with Copic markers. I also stamped and colored a few balloons, party hats, and hearts. You can't have a birthday party without balloons and party hats! I also stamped and die cut a speech bubble with a pink heart inside from the Hay There stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

The background is ink blended with Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I used Cracked Pistachio and Broken China ink and lightly spritzed the paper with water. After I attached the background to a white 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base, I attached the images with glue or foam tape. I finished by heat embossing the sentiment onto black cardstock, die cutting it with an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and attaching it with foam tape.

I hope you like the card! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great week! :)
