Ray brings you "Coffee with Cardamom"

I am excited the hear that Ray Boyle is in Portland, Oregon and curating a couple exhibits, discussions and events. The opening night is July 16th, 2011 and features two evolving shows so would be a great way to welcome her back and learn about the deep creative work she is organizing. Both shows will feature the work of and projects of Sarah Farahat who was featured last fall at Tribute Gallery and she is currently fundraising and needs your support!

The shows are entitled, “Can You See Me Now? (Part One): Reflections on Palestine” by Sarah Farahat and “Mirrors: A Middle Eastern/ American Collaboration” featuring artists: Farooq Hassan, Marwan Nahle, Becca Bernstein, Jim Lommasson, Amira Dughri, Rolla Selbak, Sarah Farahat, Andrea Boyle, Baher Butti and Beth Ann Short.

On July 17th there will be a Curator's Talk: Double Vision, July 20th: Journalism and New Media in the Middle East: Lecture and Discussion with Stanford Fellow Jenka Soderburg and Palestinian Journalist Saed Bannoura.
