Pumpkin Pretzels!

Do you need an easy pumpkin treat?
*******************************************
I love all the cute pretzel treats I've been seeing around the web..and since we're right smack in the middle of pumpkin season, I wanted to combine the two for an easy and fun edible craft.
~Sweet~
 Roll out green fondant and cut with the leaf fondant cutter. Let air dry.
 Dip pretzel sticks in orange candy melts and let dry. Next, dip pretzel tip into melted chocolate chips. With the pretzel laying on a sheet of parchment paper, place the leaves against the top of pretzel and let dry.

Rainbow Chips Sprinkles..love :o)
 When pretzels are completely dry..decorate. Use a foodwriter pen to draw eyes and mouth. Using a small paintbrush, dip it in corn syrup and dab the back of a rainbow chip "nose". Now just place it the on the pumpkin face.
Sweet little purty pumpkins!

Fish Sticks...Sweet!

Fish Sticks..Sugartown Sweets style!
A few weeks ago I made Gummy Worms On A Stick..
that's when I thought how cute these would be.
There are so many churches having VBS this month, including mine..and I thought these would make a great craft/snack.
Hope you're all having a fantastic summer!
I didn't even know there were gummy octopus out there! I thought they were so cute, I used a couple of them too!
Items you will need:
1 tub vanilla frosting
pretzel rods
gummy fish
food color
pearl sprinkles
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I colored my tub of vanilla frosting with Wilton sky blue color.
Gummy fish lined up...I bought a bag of Targets store brand.
 ........................................................
Frost a pretzel rod to resemble ocean waves..
place the gummy fish on the frosting and add a few white pearl sprinkles.
That's it! You're done..with plenty of time left to go fishin'. :o)
(Gummy) Worms On A Stick!
Gummy Worms On A Stick!
When my hubby and I were on Mackinac Island
last week, I saw the sweetest little treat in Sanders candy shop!
Pretzel rods, dipped in chocolate, covered with cookie crumbs and a smiling gummy worm perched on top!
Adorable..yes, I think worms are cute..the candy ones anyway. ;o)
I looked everywhere to find the worms they used.
I could not find them, so I went with these. Still cute.
The candy store sold the sticks for $2.49 each...
but you can make them "dirt cheap". (wink,wink)
I also made some tiny ones using pretzel sticks and the smaller gummy worms.
You will need: Pretzel rods~Melted Chocolate~
Chocolate Cookies(crushed for the dirt)~
Gummy Worms
I used these Oreo type cookies.
I just scraped off the filling, and then crushed them.
If you can find the chocolate wafer cookies, that would be a little easier!
 "Mount Crumbmore"
 Pretzel Rods ready for dipping...
 Mmmm....
 Sprinkle cookies crumbs onto the chocolate, place on wax paper. Let sit till chocolate sets!
 Eeww & yum-o! Gummies!
Gently tap the pretzel, shaking off the extra crumbs to make sure the gummy worm will stick!
Spread a little of the melted chocolate to the underside of the worm and place on the pretzel.
I thought it would be cute to make little dirt piles for the smaller worms to rest on.
Spoon a little puddle of the melted chocolate on wax paper. Place a few pretzel sticks in the chocolate and sprinkle with the cookie crumbs. Let sit, then add the gummy worms.
Don't get all "wormy" on me! Just make up a quick little batch of these and you'll feel better!
