STRAWBERRY with CHOCOLATE SPRINKLES

Tonight is our weSTAMP meeting and swap. Our swap theme was to use any stamp set from the new and upcoming 2010 Summer Mini Catalog (available May 1, 2010), and this is my swap card. If this card looks familiar, it's because I cased myself from this Sweet Scoops card which cases this card by Amy at Gone Inkognito.

I'll be posting the cards I received from the swap as soon as possible (which may take a few days).

RECIPE
Stamps: Sweet Scoops (2010 Summer Mini Catalog), A Little Birthday Cheer
Paper: Chocolate Chip Patterns Designer Paper, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White CS
Ink: Versamark, Regal Rose, and Chocolate Chip
Embellishments: Chocolate Chip 1/4" Sending Love Epoxy Brads, Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Chocolate Chip 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Tools: Tag Corner Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals

THANKS for stopping by today!

YOU SCREAM, I SCREAM ... WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!

This card is a CASE of THIS CARD by Amy at Gone Inkognito. I used the new stamp set, Sweet Scoops, available in the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog May 1. The four ice cream cones in the background were stamped in Versamark ink on to Close to Cocoa cardstock. The ice cream cone on the tag was stamped in Close to Cocoa ink and the scoop stamped in Pretty In Pink onto Whisper White CS. The scoop was stamped again in Pretty In Pink onto another piece of Whisper White CS and kissed with the Versamark inked texture image, then cut out and raised on Stampin' Dimensionals.

RECIPE
Stamps: Sweet Scoops
Paper: Welcome Neighbor DP (Sale-a-Bration '10), Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink, and Whisper White CS
Ink: Versamark, Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink, Jet Black Staz-On
Embellishments: Pretty In Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Pretty In Pink Brad, Pretty In Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
Tools: Scallop Trim Border, Tag Corner Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch
Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals

weSTAMP SWEET SCOOPS

Tuesday night was our monthly weSTAMP meeting and swap at the home of Lorri Heiling. We changed things up a little this month celebrating this new stamp set, Sweet Scoops ... available for purchase in the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog. A few us received this stamp set free as an incentive from Stampin' Up! in January. Instead of our monthly meeting we made these four Make 'n Take projects and ate homemade ice cream, courtesy of Lorri Heiling. Everyone brought a favorite topping.

This first Make 'n Take project is by Barbara Welch. Barabara had the prettiest bow on her original, and I was a little bow challenged that evening ...This next Make 'n Take is by Melissa Sunde ...
Leave it to the mega-creative Lorri Heiling to design this gift set for us to make - an ice cream bowl, spoon & card ...
Lorri's card sample had the orange scoop covered in Crystal Effects with a really cool glossy appearance. (Another area that challenged me that night!) ...
