Retro Holiday Trimmings With Kara

Hey Guys! Kara here to share a card using the new Holiday Trimmings set. I love this set! The sentiments are awesome and I love the way Dawn designed the dies to follow the curves of the font. So beautiful!

I've used the ornament images for my card and stamped them in the non-traditional color combo of Lake House and Shell Pink. I lined up the trio of ornaments on the large oval die cut from Basic Labels. This die has quickly become a go-to staple in my stash. It works with everything!

Scattered around my focal point are some of the extra images that you can use to decorate your ornaments.  I love how they look as stamp alone accents as well.  A few gems add a little sparkle.

Two panels die cut with the 4 Bar Stitched Rectangle Die are layered up to create dimension and add a bit of contrast with the black.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Holidays with Joni

Hello Everyone, Joni here sharing my take on this gorgeous Christmas Rose Bouquet stamp set.

To begin my card I first stamped the bouquet image using Wplus9 PURE COLOR Dye Ink in Coconut Husk then colored them with Copic markers.

I wanted to create dimension on my card. To achieve this I die-cut the flowers using the Christmas Rose Bouquet Die.

I created a placement of these flowers on a white cardstock and outlined them with gray Copic maker to create a shadowed look. I also added some yellow dots to create interest on the background of the card.

I just want to show you the dimension I created with the image below. I added some dimensional foam tape for that effect.

I also added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. For the sentiment I used the script from Holiday Trimmings white heat embossed it on a black cardstock then die-cut it with Holiday Trimmings Die.

I hope you guys like, thank you for stopping by!
Until next time.
