Monday Mood Board #20

PLAY ALONG

We have a special Monday Mood Board this time around. Elise Durenberger is stepping down from the Wplus9 Design Team to pursue her painting and fine art. Though we will miss her terribly, I am SO VERY excited for her! She is incredibly talented and has a true gift, I can not wait to see her sharing more of her original artwork. As most of you know, she is also extremely gifted in the art of friendship. I feel so honored to have had the opportunity to get to know her over the past several years. You will not find a more sincere, supportive, and genuinely kind person. Ever. Period. Thank you so much Elise for everything and I will not say goodbye, because it's not goodbye. It's good luck and "hello" to a new adventure!

I'm inviting all of you to join me in wishing Elise well by using her card above to CASE. Use the colors, theme, or elements. Let's send her off in style!

Set Sail with Elise Durenberger

Elise Durenberger is back today to share one of my favorite cards from this release. I'm calling it..."Americana Nautical"?

She has done a fantastic job working the otherwise "modern" chevron pattern into a rustic design. All of the distressing and details are wonderful. And did you notice her sailboat from Nautical Notions?! Leave it to the incredibly talented artist in her to take a flat die cut and breath life into it! It actually looks as if the sails are made of canvas and billowing in the wind!

Again, Elise has all of the details on creating this card and more photos on her blog. To find out more about today's project, be sure to head over to see her creative process and to leave her some love!

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a crafty day!

Design Team Inspiration with Elise Durenberger

Happy Monday Tuesday morning!

Have you recovered from the long holiday weekend here in the states? Are you hatin' on Tuesday like it's a Monday? Well, Elise Durenberger is here to cure those blues...well, to at least put those blues to use in a creative way!

Elise is sharing a creation that is so soft and dainty - "ethereal" comes to mind - that I can't help but feel calm and happy when I look at this. Her soft palette with subtle hints of blue are a perfect compliment to the feather images and dies from Fanciful Feathers.

She's added a soft shimmer to her feathers that make them stand out without being overpowering. And no card is complete without a matching envelope and liner.

Elise has all of the details and step-by-step photos on creating this card. To find out more about today's project, be sure to head over to see her creative process and to leave her some love!

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a crafty day!

Fresh Baked with Elise Durenberger

Elise is finishing off with a bang today, giving us not one, but two fantastic projects featuring Fresh Baked. First up, a little something that would certainly cheer me up!

One of the things that I really like about this design is how Elise chose to use only the outlines from Quilt Prints, creating a fun graphic background pattern.

Next up is a cute little altered item that I'd love to have myself.

Elise has done a wonderful job showcasing our April/May 2013 Release, hasn't she? I hope you have enjoyed seeing her creations as much as I have. Be sure to head over to her blog to get all of the details on her release projects and don't forget to leave her some love while you're there.

Thank you Elise for sharing your endless creativity with us!

Follow Your Heart with Elise Durenberger

Elise Durenberger is back with a mixed media project to share with us today.

OK...seriously LOVE that quote! It definitely sounds like something my mother would say. The Folk Art Alphabet die paired with the Blanket Stitched Blooms looks awesome with the crepe paper sun rays in the background. Elise is always so incredibly creative, you'll have to head over to her blog to get all of the details on this baby.

You won't be disappointed!

Design Team Inspiration with Elise Durenberger

The Design Team has been taking turns sharing their April/May 2013 release projects with us, and today kicks off Elise Durenberger's rotation. Over the next 3 days she will have plenty to share and inspire us with.

Check out this fun layout. Bright colors, fun patterns and big smiles...perfect combo for a layout capturing and celebrating friendship.

I love how Elise used Paisley Patterns to create three different background patterns on her vertical patterns to ground her picture. This is a wonderful set for creating your own patterned paper. With so many images included in this set, you'd never get bored or run out of patterns to create. The Folk Art Alphabet die is a great size - perfect for using on either cards or layouts like Elise has done here to create her title. And the little banners that she added using the pattern blocks from Country Charm are a great addition.

I hope you've enjoyed Elise's layout as much as I have. Be sure to stop by her blog for more photos and all of the details. And join us again tomorrow to see more from this talented lady!
