It's been awhile since I have had the time to make a card for FUN!

But, today, I have a cute card to share for the...

 i {heart} sketches challenge at From the Heart Stamps

Sketch #153 - the TWIST - Fussy Cut the image

(see sketch below)

Here's my card using Faithful found in the Faithful Friends section in the SHOP

Standard A2 brown card base, following the sketch, I layered with patterned paper from 6" x 6" pad by Simple Stories called Harvest Lane.

I colored the image in the following Copic markers:  Blender, B00, BG01, BG15, E00, E02, E33, E53, R22, R27, RV13, Y21, YR15, YR20, YR61

I used a circle die to cut out the image and then I fussy cut the coffee mug.  Finished the card by adding a sentiment from the set and some adhesive pearls

A pretty pail of flowers...

Good morning and thanks for visiting my blog. 

 

Today I have a share I created for the i {heart} sketches challenge #133 over at From the Heart. 

(see the sketch below)  The twist this week:  Black/White and one other color. 

 

I love playing along at  From the Heart Stamp.  They not only have the weekly sketch challenge, they also have a monthly Stamp of the Month challenge, and everyone who enters the challenge will receive the next SOM free!  I love the images and inspiration. You will find the challenge HERE.

 

For my card this week I used the Pail of Flowers image, which you can find  HERE. This image comes with two sentiments:  dear friend and just for you.
 

I felt inspired to make a little 6" x 3" note card using the Pail of Flowers image.  My additional color is Bright Pink, which really pops when combined with Black and White.  And of course I flipped the sketch, so that the circle and banners would be at the top. 

 

I colored the image using the following Copic markers:  Blender, C-1, C-3, C-5, G00, G02, RV02, RV04, RV06
 

My solid cardstock papers were from my stash, dotted white on black paper from Echo Park, 6" x 6" pad Dots & Stripes Valentines, but the strange thing, there is no stripes in this pad!

I finished the card with tiny white pearls for the flower centers.

There is also a sketch challenge, which ended tonight, but I was too late...

I was having dinner with friends, so I missed linking up by an hour - Oh well!

I'll share the sketch anyway, as I like to keep sketches for future use in my electronic files

 

 

To make my card I started with A2 black cardstock base

Designer papers:  Doodlebug Design, Inc. - 6 x 6 Haunted Manor

Copic markers used:  BV31, C-3, Y08, G07, G14

Finished the card with licorice twine, boo tag, and black rhinestones

I rarely have the opportunity to create cards just for FUN

With full time work, social life, training for a Half Marathon...what's a girl to do?

These demands just get in the way of my CREATIVE PLAYTIME

So again I ask...what's a girl to do?

I love the images at Birdie Brown and this Pumpkin BOO is just too CUTE!

My card is a 4" x 4"

I finished the card with a scalloped edge, lavender ribbon/bow and goggle eyes

 

The next card is for September Stamp of the Month Challenge over at From the Heart Stamps

The image is called Bobbing for Apples and this is a progressive challenge which means:

If you play along this month, you will receive the next months image FREE

 

BTW the image comes with or without a background fence

 

This card is a 5.5" x 5.5" card

Papers used are from my stash and I do not remember the company

Copic markers used: E00, E11, E31, E35, B05, B12, C5, C7, B60, G02, G07, R11, R27, R29, R59

Finished the card with Green Grosgrain ribbon/bow, apple punches, metal tag and red safety pin

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom

 

And now for my final card to share today...This one is for SKdigis Linking Party

 

 

This image is called Kitty Peekaboo and is a freebie this month

 

I was inspired by this sketch at Krafty Hands

However, to play along there, you need to use one of their products, which I do not have

But I love this sketch and wanted to use it anyway

 

This is also a 5.5" x 5.5" card
