"Anything Goes" month-long "Free" digi challenge, marking the start of our new challenge format.

Month-long "Anything Goes" challenges begin on the first of each month.

Please remember to use a "Free" digital image.

It can be a freebie of the month, limited freebie, or forever freebie,

as long as it is available throughout the duration of the challenge.

Please make sure to provide a link on your blog to the original artist or blog.

And I love making banners, my favorite banners are circle ones.

 

And don't forget about the fortnight (every two weeks) "themed challenges",

We had one scheduled, "Challengers Choice" for 08/31/12

but with the transition into the new format,

it turned into a Design Team Challenge, which we were to use the same digi image.

I forgot to do that and now there is this whole back story on our DT blog,

It is ust too funny, poking fun at me, which I wish I could share all our comments with you.

Anyway, here's the card I made, using an image other than what I should have used.

 I used an image from Michelle Perkett HERE, she is one of my favorite artist.

I love here style, beautiful work, whimsical, fantasy, check her ESTY SHOP too.

It's Back to School...

Already?  At least for me it is!

As the Office Manager for an Elementary School, I started back on Wednesday, August 1st.

There is so much work to be done prior to the first day of school.
I'm already worn out just thinking about getting everything checked of my "To Do" list.

Thank Goodness I can get creative and reduce my stress!

Anyway...

For my card I used Thomas from Michelle Perkett Studio.

I love her style and have fallen in love with many of her images.

I thought Thomas would be perfect to use for my "Back to School" card.

I really enjoyed coloring him and wanted his vest to match the paper I had in my stash.

I added staples, a small pencil and used some paperclips for my embellishments.

I had emailed Michelle to find out if the image would be available until the 9th.

Michelle doesn't leave a freebie up that long, however...

She has given me permission to use him for the duration of the challenge only.

Thomas will be removed from my blog at midnight (PST) on Thursday, August 9.
