Candy Corn Fairy

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog today
I am sharing a DT card I made for the Mid Inspiration over at Kitty Bee Designs
It is Mid Inspiration time for our current Aloha Friday Challenge
#82 - Orange and Black

Here's my card...

I am using the Candy Corn Fairy found in the Etsy shop HERE

I colored the image using the following Copic markers: B00, B02, C-0, C-3, C-5, E000, E00, E02, Y000, Y15, Y35, Y38, YR02, YR04, YR07

I layered a A2 white cardstock with black and orange patterned paper.  I cut from my Circut a scalloped edge.  The image was trimmed and layered on orange cardstock

I finished my card with an old Happy Halloween sentiment from my Close to My Heart days as a Consultant.  I then added black twine bow and some orange bling

Don't be afraid to SPARKLE...

It's Mid-Inspiration time for Aloha Friday Challenge over at Kitty Bee's

Challenge #80 - Scraps (use a minimum of 3 patterned papers)

Here's my card...


We have two really great Sponsors for this challenge

For my Design Team card I am using this cute image from Alicia Bel called Butterfly Faery

I started with a white cardstock base and added a layer of pink patterned paper on top. 

I then colored my image using my Copic markers in the following colors: B00, B02, BV02, BV31, E00, E02, RV10, RV13, Y00, Y08

I used a circle die to cut around the image and mounted onto the card.  I added a sentiment banner and used 2 patterned papers to layer additional banners over a thin strip for my third patterned paper.

I finished the card with white gel pen hi-lights on the image, glitter on the wand and some pink adhesive rhinestones for that bit of SPARKLE!

For my card I chose to use the Christmas Lover Sexy Girl from The East Wind

My card is a standard A2 white card base layered with paper scraps from my stash

I printed the image then cut it out using one of my oval dies

I colored the image in the following Copic markers:
BG000, BG01, C-0, E00, E21, RV10, RV13, Y11, YG41, YG63

I finished the card with a sentiment banner and some pink rhinestones

Fairytale and Fantasy...

It's Mid Inspiration time for the Aloha Friday Challenge at Kitty Bee Designs

I decided to make 2 cards for this challenge

First up is my card - Believe

"Believe" Card - I am using Hello Fairy, from A Day for Daisies
Image colored using the following COPIC markers:
BV00, BV02, BV04, E00, E02, E18, E33, Y00, Y02, Y08, YG00, YG03
Finished the card with a strip of purple dotted Washi tape and sequins

"Just for you" Card - I used Spring Swing II from The Paper Shelter
Image colored using the following COPIC markers:
B00, B02, E00, E02, E35, E53, G00, G21, RV10, RV13, YG63, Blender
Pattern paper from Authentique 6" x 6" pad - Latest & Greatest

Brighter days...

Are on their way

My Mid-Inspiration card is for the Design Team at Kitty Bee Design's
Aloha Friday Challenge #70 - April Showers
 
Here's my card...

My card base is 5.5" x 5.5" using sky blue cardstock from my stash

The image is called Rain from Star Stampz and colored in the following Copic markers:
Blender, B000, B00, B02, C-1, C-3, E00, E02, E11, E21, E33, R22, R27, R29, R59, RV21, Y08, Y17, YG06, YG23.  I also used a .3 multi liner in black on the hair

Sentiment I made on the computer, printed on yellow cardstock and used Spellbinders circle die to cut out.  I added a couple of clouds using the Precious Clouds set from Memory Box, which I sponged around the edges with sky blue ink for added dimension

A yellow ribbon/bow finished the card

This would be a great card for a friend going through tough times, who may need a word of encouragement, I love this saying

Friends Forever...

My share today is my Design Team card for Mid Week Inspiration for...

My card is a 6" x 6" denim blue card base layered with burlap and pink cardstock.  I love brown, blue and pink together, it's one of my FAVORTIE color combo's
 
The image was colored using the following Copic markers:  Blender, B23, B24, B28, B32, B60, C-0, C-1, E00, E02, E31, E33, E35, G02, RV10, RV13, Y21, Y35
 
I finished the card with the sentiment stamped inside a metal tag, pink ribbon/bow, banner and adhesive hearts
 
You can find the image, Spring Song in the Etsy Shop, where you will also find other awesome images as well.   I absolutely loved coloring this image and had another opportunity to practice my hair technique

My card is a 5.5 x 5.5 easel card using yellow cardstock for the base. I used a light blue patterned paper, from my stash for layers.
 
Copic markers:  Blender, C-1, B23, B60, E000, E00, E02, E53, RV13, RV21, RV29, and Y11, Y21, YG00, YG06.  This image is from Oddball Art Co, called Skylar and Friends, "Signs of Spring" No. 204 and can be found HERE.  This image has many little areas to color, so I was stressed big time while coloring.  I took my time and got it done!  I rather like how it turned out.  What do you think?
 
My card was finished by adding a sentiment to the lower section, blue flowers with pink brad centers, and a blue ribbon bow.

Another Happy Valentine's Day...

For my card I used a 6" x 6" grey base, layered with patterned paper from Doodlebug Design 6" x 6" pad called "Sweet Things"

My finishing touches: layering white heart doily, and stitched hearts cut from Memory Box dies, sentiment banner and buttons

Finishing touches:  Ribbon Bow, brown shimmer pearls and Hugs sentiment
