Well-the countdown is on! With 5 weeks left to go we're trying our best to wrap up all of the many projects we've started. Though there have definitely been bumps in the road, we've seemed to get past most of them. Our most recent frustration occurred tonight when we realized that the dresser we finally received after weeks and weeks of waiting (16 to be exact) has a split drawer...which means we get to return in at start over again. Ah, the joy. And yes, it is taking every ounce of self-control that I have to resist bursting into tears and screaming at the top of my lungs that the situation is still not resolved and we likely won't have the dresser in time for the big arrival. I know, I know...I'm going to receive 12 comments saying, "The baby won't know the difference" or "We didn't get a dresser for over a year with our first" but...guess what...nesting is in full effect, I know the difference, and I definitely understand that my desire to have a dresser in that bedroom by the end of July is neither rational or logical...so save your breath. :)
{Yes, a gross picture of me. But, this proves that I really am pregnant and growing bigger by the second.}
The good news is...yes, there is some good news...the crib came in and was damage free. We set that up together as our Sunday afternoon family activity and we couldn't be more pleased with it! We are certainly excited to have the nursery done and hope that the time is sooner rather than later.{I was in charge of reading the directions and handing Scott all of the parts}
