Here is my second creation for Riddersholm Design this month.

It is also my last creation as a Guest Designer. I want to thank Connie for the amazing opportunity to design with her fabulous designs.

I have another horse themed picture for my second layout this month. This time I used the "Compass" paper from the Newport collection. The background also looks like a woodgrain from a barn and so I thought it was perfect for another horse themed photo. 

 I used stencils and sprays in the background to create texture. Then I added lots of flowers to embellish the layout along a barn like chipboard piece.

Capture the Moment- By Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year!!

This is my first project for the new year for Riddersholm Design using the Barnmarket collection.

I used "The Barn" paper from the collection because it fit perfectly with my horse theme.

The background woodgrain looks exactly like the wood from a stable and so I used this picture of my daughter feeding a horse. I framed the photo with a chipboard heart frame. I wanted to "Capture the moment" as she loves horses so much. I had to add hearts all around for that reason.

Puzzle Piece | NEWPORT

Hello everyone, 

it's Dunja here totday, and I am pleased that you drop by again. 
I hope you had a quiet and peaceful Christmas with a delicious meal, with loved ones around you? Did you had a good start in the New Year?  
I wish you all the best for the New Year, always plenty of creativity and ideas, healthy and enjoy life with the people which are essential to you ♥ 

Today I'll show you an MDF puzzle, which is from Dutch Doobadoo. I've glued some pieces of design papers of the Newport Collection from Riddersholm.  

 
Then I took the heart stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and structure paste. In the still moist Structure Paste I sprinkled fine glass glitters and let it dry. Then I've added some sprinkles of the spectacular color powder by Ken Oliver Crafts, which is called ColorBurst.

Believe- By Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone, 

Its Keren Here on the Riddersholm Design Blog with a new layout using "The Barn" paper from the  Barnmarket collection.

I used a woodgrain stencil to enhance to theme of the background and the photo.

This is a picture of my son and I taken probably 10 years ago. He's much younger and I'm much thinner lol.

I used a lot of flowers and other embellishments to enhance to the natural look. I also sprayed some splatters in the background to add more texture.

Water Mill- Newport Collection By Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone its Keren here again this month with another layout for the Riddersholm Desing blog.

This time I used the Newport collection.

This is another brand new collection for Riddersholm Design.

I used the Postcard paper which has a brick patterned background on the opposite side. The brick pattern was perfect for this rustic mill photo.

I stencilled my own bricks in the background to enhance the barn feel of this layout. I also added wooden doors and chipboard to add to the rustic feel.

Love this- Barn Market Collection by Keren Tamir (With Video Tutorial)

Hi Everyone, Its Keren here with a new layout and video tutorial for the Riddersholm Design Blog.

I was really excited to receive all the brand new collections and used the Barn Market collection for this layout below.

I created this masculine page with this picture of my son when he was a baby. He's all grown up now, 14 years old, but I still remember those sweet cheeks.

You Shine Inside & Out----By Keren Tamir

Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) by Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone!!

Its Keren here with something a little different for you today.

 I created Artist Trading Cards better known as ATC's

Its a series of three ATC's called:

"Winds of change"

All three ATC's were designed with the same paper as the background: the Fall Flea Market Classifields paper. 

To add texture, I sprayed and sprinkled teal and golden shades. Then I added a chipboard dandelion which was painted in teal acrylic paint and then given a sparkly touch with Riddersholm Turquoise glitter.

Finally I added a small Ink it Cherry Blossom flower which was sprayed in Antique gold ink. I also fussy cut a small butterfly and a sentiment to each one.

These cards are being traded with friends from around the world!!

Discover- by Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone,

Its Keren here with a new layout for Riddersholm Design using their Vintage Venture collection.

I used the Vintage Venture Blossoms paper for the background to which I added lots of sprays and stencils to mimic the rocks and moss in the picture. I also added chipboard stones to make people feel as if they are right there inside the caves with us.

I used some Riddersholm Ink it cherry blossoms and roses which were also sprayed with matching colors.

Finally I added a resin bird on the side to fit in with the nature theme.

Best Friend- By Keren Tamir

Its Keren here with another layout for Riddersholm Design.

I used the Fall Flea Market Vintage Junk paper for the background.
Then I matted the photo with small scraps from the Fall Flea Market Classifields paper and Tailgate marked

The title and cut-outs were also from the Tailgate marked papers. One of the cut-outs is a little quote that says: "There's no psychiatrist in this world like a puppy licking your face". I just thought this quote was perfect as this is a picture of our puppy licking my son's face.

I embellished with chipboard, resin and flowers too.

Always so Grateful for You- My First Post by Keren Tamir- with video tutorial

Hi Everyone, Its Keren here and I'm happy to reveal my first post for Riddersholm Design.

Chillin'

Idag tänkte jag visa en layout där jag har blandat papper från Vintage Pink (bakgrunden) och Chantilly Dawn (fotomattan och den utklippta ugglan), samt gjort en mixed media.bakgrund.

Bakgrunden har jag först målat slarvigt med gesso, och sedan har jag lagt på ett tunt lager strukturpasta som jag har stämplat i och fäst olika dekorationer, bl.a Ink It Cherry Blossoms, knappar, och en bit av en gammal bokpärm i, innan jag kladdat på mer gesso och sprayat med mist i turkos och ljusbrun.

Today, I have a mixed-media background layout to share in which I've mixed up papers from Vintage Pink (the background) and Chantilly Dawn (the photomat and the fussy-cyt owl)

I coated the background paper with gesso, and then I added a thin layer of texture paste, which I stamped on while still wet, and embellished with Ink It Cherry Blossoms, buttons, a piece of an old book cover and some more things i found in my stash. After that, I added more gesso, and teal and brown mists.

Här är en liten närbild på blommorna, som är slarvigt målade med gesso och sedan färgade med mist, och hur det blev när jag stämplade i den våta strukturpastan.

Here's a closeup of the flowers, which I've painted unevenly with gesso before misting. You can also see the effect created by stamping in wet texture paste.

She Believed She Could Inspire Others

Idag tänkte jag visa en canvas jag har gjort med motiv från Huntington Garden. Jag har plundrat alla lådor och gömmor här hemma för att hitta lite roliga dekorationer att slänga på, bl.a chipboard, spets, lintyg, kartong, knappar, snören, pärlor, och tom. trasiga glödlampor från en elektrisk ljusstake, och sen har jag kluddat över alltihop med vit akrylfärg.

Kvinnan är tecknad på ett av de mönstrade papprena, och sedan har jag målat vissa delar med akrylfärg.

Nu tror jag att jag ska ta en sväng för att leda mer potentiella dekorationer till kommande mixed-mediaverk. Jag har en känsla av att jag skulle kunna hitta massa roliga saker i sonens legolådor. Eller varför inte bland alla dotterns Littlest Pet Shop-grejor?

I've made this canvas with elements from the Huntington Garden collection. I've ravaged my stash to find suitable items for decorating the canvas, for instance linen fabric, lace, cord, buttons, beads, chipboard pieces, cardboard, and even some tiny lightbulbs coming from an electric candlestick. Then I've covered all of it in white acrylic paint.

The woman is drawed on one of the patterned papers from the collection, and then I have painted some parts of her with acrylic.

So, I'm off to collect more things for coming mixed media pieces. My son's legos could be in danger, or my daughter's Littlest Pet Shop stuff...
