A Mojo Baby Card

Short and sweet-
This card is for a friend who just had a baby girl. I used Mojo Sketch 109... all papers and embellishments were pulled out of my scrap stash!

Mojo Monday week 86

Ok, so this is a little late... but I am really happy with how it turned out! The card was inspired by the cake seen here, for a VSN challenge. The Verve "Beautiful Kindness" swirl stamps were inked in VersaMark and embossed with white EP. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped in Soft Sky. The pearl detail reflects the beading of icing around the cake layers. Thanks for looking, and I hope you're having a great weekend!

Mojo Monday week 85

It's a card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I chose Verve's Floral Symphony set to go with this sentiment from Studio G. The paper is all scraps, and I used Staz On Black and Blue Bayou inks. The sentiment is punched out with the scalloped square from Marvy. I added a ribbon and flowers from the dollar bin. If you can't see it, the larger background DP says "baby" all over it-- this card is for my coworker who just found out she is pregnant!

Mojo Monday week 79

Good morning! Here is the card I completed for the Mojo Monday sketch this week. I had to use some new Verve stamps! The blue dotted paper is from Making Memories Chloe's Closet collection, which matched really well with Blue Bayou. The butterflies (Beautiful Kindness) were stamped on vellum with Blue Bayou and cut out. The sentiment is from Circular Sayings. I distressed some of the edges and finished it off with a sheer yellow ribbon. Thanks for looking!

New Verve Stamps!

I was so excited to get my new Verve stamps in the mail. I made a quick card for a sorority sister's new baby using "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", inked with Staz On Jet Black. All paper is from Creative Memories, as well as the funky little star punch. The white circle and panel are sponge inked with So Saffron. Stay tuned later this week for more creations using new releases from Verve!
