Raising Bookworms- A Layout

I am a self-pronounced Book Nerd. Book Geek. Book Worm.
Whatever you call it, I have always loved to read!
Seems like I'm passing that on to my girls...

Don't you just love their matching Princess Snuggies?!

Here I colored in white alphas with SU ink and a paintbrush. Love being able to customize things!

I think all the gloomy and rainy days have me going a little overboard on the sunny yellows on my scrapbook pages!

Alpha stickers- Bella Blvd.
Flowers- Prima
Provo Craft dec scissors
CM Custom Cutting System

Water Babies

This summer was H-O-T. We spent a lot of time at Boomerang Bay, a local waterpark. I took tons of pictures over the summer!

I used circle stamps to carry over that theme, and to add interest behind the title.

Design elements are also a great place to incorporate extra journaling.
Products
Paper: Basic Grey and American Crafts
Alpha stickers: American Crafts

If I Could Change One Thing...

A challenge at Scrap-tastic was to use the phrase, "If I could change one thing..."  We were to think large-scale for this one! My journaling is pull-out from behind the layout and reads:

If I could change one thing I would wipe out illness and disease. Noble? Impossible? Vast? Yes, but also deeply personal. If there were no disease my mother would still be living and I would not struggle with everyday activities.

Papers: Creative Memories
Stamps: Unity
Ink: Broken China Distress Ink
Paint: Broken China Distress Crackle Paint (Ranger)
Alpha Stickers: Pink Paislee and Fancy Pan

This was such a challenging question to answer. What would YOU change?

Emilea Graduates- a layout

It's time for another layout using a sketch from Scrappin' Silhouettes. Here is this week's sketch:

And here's my layout:

My niece's graduation announcement and prom picture. Isn't she adorable?

Using Baroque Motifs stamp set from Stampin' Up- one of my faves.
Black and white ink.

Stickles and rhinestones.

We would love to have you join us at Scrappin' Silhouettes and link up your project!
