Colin

we had a roller-coaster week when the entire family came down with food contamination and Colin had it worst. it was an ordeal i pray will never happen. he was severely dehydrated and not responsive. thankfully, he was saved. the medical team was serious and tensed and i was just blanked. thankfully, he is recovering and is now resting at home. his appetite is gaining and he smiled at me this morning. i hope he regains his strength, health and cheerfulness in no time. thank my mom, my sis, ken, for being around. brendan. and for Buddha's blessing. may we all live in good health.

Colin

Colin is so darn adorable. He's like a little puppy, he bites everything with his teeth and crawls around like a pup. Then, he removes his "treat" and offers it to me (pushes it to my lips and grins). It's like saying: "Nah, here you are, have one, it tastes good!" This is his way of sharing.

Oh, we're having his first birthday party this weekend.    =)

Colin

Colin is very adventurous, he climbs over everything and props himself up with tables, chairs and benches.

Colin

 He is darn cute.
Not only are his eyes big, they are "smiling eyes". I haven't got a picture of his smiling eyes as those moments are fleeting and impromptu.

Colin contracted HFMD from his sister, who got it from school.
Luckily, they both recovered fast, although Colin's rashes were more, while Kiki's itches were worse.

Me loosing sleep is secondary. Importantly, the children are back to good health and that's thank goodness.

I bought this Polo T-shirt specially for CNY but didn't get to wear it. Children clothing is expensive to me, they cost more than my own clothing, so I ought to let him wear all the nice clothing before they become too small.

Colin (Baby)

Colin might be using several Pink items, like; the pink blanket, the pink quilt seat cover, and possibly the pink rimmed sun-shades and a grey-pink Puma sports shoes. All because they are hand-me-downs. I try to scale down the pink stuff but those that are still in good condition and not too girly, I would let him use them. Anyway, it will be just for a while as babies outgrow any apparels very quickly. Talking about this, Kiki wants to do inline blading (roller skate) but a good pair of skates cost over two hundred dollars. Bren said to get a cheap pair but I disagree as I say that quality is important especially when learning for the first time. I said I paid like $700 for my pair and it lasted over ten years. (that was in 1993! Like amongst the first to own a really good pair). He said that is because my feet remained largely the same size and I didn't outgrow it hence it made sense to invest in a good pair. I said if that's the case then we could ask around and see if any friend has a good pair to hand-us-down. Well, we will see how it goes.

Colin (Baby)

The tissue paper is there because he had purged some milk.

Looks cute even with a pout.

Bath Time

Colin looks so "man" as many have commented. Somehow, I realised that too. I mean, he looks a little mannish for a baby. I honestly don't pay much attention to that until he keeps getting gushes of enthusiasm from neighbouring aunties including Kiki's teachers who take turns to carry him.
