Hair Cut

For over two weeks I had reminded my helper to bring Colin to the hairdresser but the task had not been accomplished. So I brought him there after music on Saturday. As he had been waiting in the queue for about over 20 minutes, by the time he reached the chair, he was restless. Nevertheless, he has got his hair trimmed and his eyes are all bright and much livelier. It's amazing what a haircut could do.

Music with Colin

I'd been sitting in in Colin's music class the past few Saturday mornings and had asked Maricar to fetch Kiki from Ballet instead. I am glad I did that because Colin is very happy, of course his cheekiness is an accompaniment.

He was quick to identify the instrument- Violin (when his teacher flashed a picture-card) and quick to shout "Big Violin!" when his teacher displayed a picture of the Double Bass. LOL.

I am glad his speech is coming through, although the dictation isn't fantastic yet. I hope Dr. Robin will be happy with his progress and I hope she will discharge us as an outpatient but of course it's her prerogative. 

Every time after class, we make a pit stop at the playground. This is the quality hour I have with him weekly before everything else scramble for my attention. I won't wish for more time with Colin, I will make more time for him and make them count.

Colin goes to Chinese Class

 His Chinese teacher pulled me aside to say that from next week onward, we would leave him at the door and not accompany him into class. She says that Colin would only cry for a short while and then integrate with the rest of the class.

Colin "Baby"

 Colin cries every time we are at the Chinese class. But that's only for a short while. Very soon, he would settle in and enjoy the lesson. He says - "Lau Hu" with an Ang Moh twang, which is very funny for me.

Quite a mischievous boy he is.

 A truckload of "treasure"

 There are two Lightning McQueen because the two fella fight over everything.

A new Y-glider with a lower low-bed which is more appropriate for Kiki (whom, in my opinion, needs more exposure in outdoor activities and motor-skill development).

Ballet Recap

 

Last Saturday, the ballet school had an "open house" for parents to view what their child has been learning so far. So I brought Colin along to lend support to his Jiejie.

Colin watched the stretching exercises and dance routine for 30 minutes before he finally became bored. Started to roll on the floor, self-entertaining, and expressed his epic boredom by stuffing his socks into his mouth. -_-"""""""""""

Maricar met my aunt at the church to collect some stuff my aunt bought for us from Malacca.
The other time, my aunt threw a tantrum and we ended our gather abruptly.
