Final SPS Design Team Blog Hop....

Good Morning Everyone,

Welcome to the Pumpkin Spice December Design Team Blog Hop!

This is our final 2013 Pumpkin Spice Design Team Blog Hop.  It has been such a pleasure working with these talented ladies.  They have been so supportive of my little venture, Shop Pumpkin Spice over the years.

I stumbled upon the world of 'blogging' nearly by accident when I purchased my Cricut back in 2008. Promising my hubby that I would be crafting my fingers to the bones... but my real love, I found, was PAPER.  I should have known since I am the crazy person that has post it notes in all colors and varieties even though I really don't use them.  And don't get me started on the note pads with all the cute designs.

I found MME (my mind's eye) in a local Scrapbooking store and fell in love with Wild Asparagus. The colors, the paper texture, the quality.. ahhhhhh.  I became friends with KC at MME, via my many emails, and eventually he got me started on my first Wholesale order, and that was the beginning of Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Over the next year, things started to take off and other paper lines were added to my little shop. Echo Park, Cosmo Cricket, Bo Bunny...

Then in 2011, things really took off for SPS after the first official design team was starting, due in a large part to the coaxing of a special friend, Courtney.. thank you for everything!

With the start of the design team, I had the honor of meeting some amazing ladies.  Not only are they all beyond words Talented but they are super sweet and generous ladies.  My friends!

I have watched DT sisters move onto bigger and better opportunities and been so proud of their accomplishments and many publications.  I feel so privileged to have been associated with all the SPS Design Team sisters, past and present.

Although this is a sad farewell to the 2013 design team, I know I will continue to see their wonderful projects on their own blogs.

APRIL 11, 2012***WEDNESDAY***SHOP PUMPKIN SPICE- A LAYOUT....***

Happy middle of the work week day!

It is my "HAPPY" design day, for Shop Pumpkin Spice.

I got 2 of last months "BOY CRAZY KITs" and boy, am I crazy about them.  Even though it says boy crazy I wanted to show you, how versatile it can be. I made a layout for my little 3 year old niece. She is so adorable. She called me on the phone a couple of weeks ago and I was really surprised because I don't see her that often (it has been 6 months). I'm watching the flights now, so I can go see her and the rest of the family of course.
Onto my Layout. I used coredinations for the main layout and the dark tan. The bright patterned papers  are from Echo Park A boys life. The lighter papers are from my minds eye Madison Ave.
I used the Cindy loo Cricut cartridge for the flourish at the top left. The letter "S" was cut from letter envy. The yellow polka dot flower was cut from the Mothers day bouquet 2010. The circles were cut from the basic shapes on the imagine machine.

It is my design day over here at Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog. I am so thrilled with the products that we carry over here  and I think you will be to. If you haven't given  these products a try , you really don't know what you are missing, always 30% off, or more, great service and reliable products

On to my design.

One of my friends from college is having a birthday, and I wanted to make her something special.  I decided on a set of monogram cards. These are the four I made. I used the new cricut cartridge that just came out called "Letter Envy"  It is one of my favorites. I love typography and lettering, it was one of my favorite courses in college.  The paper I used is My Minds Eye, Lost and found "Madison Ave".  These cards came together fairly quickly. The base is an A2 size, cream colored card stock. The letter "D" was cut @ 3.1. The patterned paper was cut @ 4x5.25, then I used a corner rounder on the top right and then on one of the cards I added three dots of stickles.

FEBRUARY 15, 2012***WEDNESDAY****Patterns, Buttons & Twine, Oh My.

Good Morning,
 This is DIANA L. from DL.ART,  I'm glad you could stop by.

This is my day to post my design here at Pumpkin Spice Blog.  I really had fun with this one. I used Authentique Free bird series Endless & Fair-weather
6x6 heavyweight double-sided card stock. The base is Bazzill beetle black.

I cut the image in the middle from  Spellbinders Shapeabilities pendants "lotus"
I cross stitched each of the  American Crafts  "confetti" buttons with a different colored twine from  the Twinery. For the yellow button I used mandarin, for the salmon colored button I used Caribbean and for the aqua colored button I used lemon drop.
I added a little faux stitching at the bottom with a Sakura glaze pen.
For the center of the Lotus I used My pink Stamper from the "Lunch Box Thoughts" stamp set

Here is a close of  the twine and the buttons. I really love this paper. I think the colors are great.

Here is my project for the HOP... Simple and Sweet, the Pumpkin Spice way!
Pumpkin and I made these together for her 'Classmates', I did not use the traditional 'Valentine' papers, just because I so LOVE some of these older lines from MME!  Lime Twist has got to be one of my all time FAVS, and Stella & Rose, I just adore the styles on these lines.

Hello everyone, my name is Alyssa and I am 22 years old. I am currently a full time student and I will be graduating in May with a degree in Liberal Studies and Mathematics. I recently moved to San Francisco with my wonderful hubby who I have been married to for a little over a year. We live with our sweet old fur ball, an 11 year old rat terrier named Princess. I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who supports me in my crafting addiction and who has helped me to start my own stamp line, My Thoughts Exactly Stamps. I am primarily a card maker but I love paper crafts of every kind!  My name is Ann and I live in beautiful Southern California.  I have four crazy dogs and a hubby who's amazingly patient with my cardmaking obsession. Happily Ever Paper Crafter

I am thrilled and excited to start another term as a design team member for the amazing Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I am a mother of two adorable kiddos (baby #3 due at the end of April) and a wife to a wonderful husband. I work part-time as a nurse at a busy metro hospital. When I'm not busy being a mommy and a nurse, I spend time reading and getting caught up in Netflix movies. My family loves to travel and spend time together, so there is alway an adventure on the horizon.

I have been a paper crafter for years, but got my fire rekindled last year when I got a Cricut for Christmas. I've been crazy crafting ever since. I have a passion for my Cricut, Cuttlebug and all my stamps. I adore beautiful paper and embellishments. My favorite things to craft are home decor, mini albums, and cards. I love learning new techniques and being inspired by others.

I am a work-at-home mom to two beautiful 9yo fraternal twin girls, both of whom are diagnosed with Autism.  I have been married to my college sweetheart, Doug, for over 20 years.  We also have a 21yo cat named Skeeziks, who is the sweetest furry girl.  I am an avid card-maker with a paper addiction.  If there were a show on paper crafting hoarders, I would probably be on it :)  I am also very frugal; I want to get the newest and hottest paper collections, but at a reasonable price.  That's why I Shop Pumpkin Spice!

Hi there I'm Lenae! I live in Washington State with my fiancée and my black lab fur baby Kalani. I got started in paper crafting about 5 plus years ago when I was invited to a card party. I lost my job about 3 years ago when the company I worked for went out of business. Before I lost my job I mainly made cards for the troops, but once I was jobless I had so much extra time I needed to expand my horizons. I started really getting into 3D design. Last October for my birthday I received a Cricut from my mom, which opened up all kinds of new ideas and avenues. This is when everything exploded for me in the crafting community. I started my blog just a few months after that and haven't looked back! I love designing cards, treat goodies and 3d projects! Most of my projects always come with either a free SVG file and/or tutorial. Crafting has really changed my life. After going through many losses in my family over the last few years I started using my crafting as a form of therapy. It really helped me get through some tough times. I have met some of the nicest, kindest giving people I have ever met in the crafting community! I am so blessed to have all of you in my life! I am also blessed to have a fiancée that supports my addiction.... I mean hobby!

Hi, My name is Lezlye Lauterbach, I live in Northern California in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. I have been married for 25 years to Jim who is very supportive of my obsession, anything to do with paper crafting! I have three children,one girl two boys ages 22, 19, 18. I have an adorable Yorkie Daizy who will soon be 4!

I have been paper crafting for about 20 years, it's the one hobby that has stuck! I love my electronic cutting machines and use them everyday. My name is Saundra. I am a wife, homeschool mom, and avid papercrafter. I began papercrafting a little over 3 years ago after I bought my electronic cutting machine. At first I had thought to only use it for bulletin boards and such for my classroom. I was teaching in a private school back then. As I began searching for information I discovered the world of blogging. There is so much inspiration to be had! I love making cards and have tried my hand at scrapbooking and making home decor projects. Besides papercrafting I love spending time with my family and am striving to get fit.
