Got Stocking Stuffers?

True confession time...

I am still shopping for the holidays, not a single gift is wrapped and I still have about 10 gifts to find. YIKES!  I can proudly say, the most difficult of all my gift recipients (the hubby) is complete.    YAY!  I am pretty happy about that!

Today I wanted to share some great deals available over at ShopPumpkinSpice

They are in limited quantity and many are retired and no longer available, which makes them perfect for the crafters on your list.  No one else will be getting it for them.  No duplicate gift under the tree or in the stocking.  And the prices are so AWESOME, you should probably buy one for yourself too before they are gone.

$5 Gift Ideas

Twine sample pack - I love this stuff.  I use it for much more than cards or scrapbook pages.  I use it to make my fluffy bows on packages and also to just give a simple bow on a package that a little more old fashion.

Today through December 19th, you can pick this sample pack of 7 different color twines for a mere $5.  That is a steal!

$10 Gift Ideas

Another amazing deal is this pack of ProMarkers

This collection of ProMarkers is a great starter set for all ages.  Both Pumpkin (9 years old) and I use them when we have our 'color & cuddle' time.  The colors are beautiful and because they are an alcohol-based marker you can blend and shade with them.

$25 Gift Idea

WOWZERS!  This package of stamps is an Blockbuster Deal!
3 sets of My Pink Stampers retired Image Sets.  These stamps were an exclusive collection, venture, between My Pink Stamper and Pumpkin Spice a few years ago and they are almost gone.  The quality of the stamps are amazing, just like all of the My Pink Stamper stamp sets.

Plus all orders over $25 will receive

FREE SHIPPING this weekend only!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with June - card

Hello!  This is June Houck with a scrappy birthday card.  I still have bits from this My Mind's Eye collection called Indie Chic "Nutmeg."  It is my go-to collection for masculine cards with these wonderful patterns in shades of blue.

My card evolved from a small scrap of the blue tone-on-tone circles paper.  I rounded opposite corners and inked the edges.  Then I coordinated three other patterns in blue.  Even the grey-ish banner is scrap piece from in the collection.  I stamped the sentiment and added twine.  Tip:  to keep my twine from unraveling, I dab a tiny dot of glossy accents on the ends.   They end up looking a little bit like shoe laces.

Supplies:
papers:  My Mind's Eye Indie Chic "Nutmeg" Boy CheckerFamily Laurel Burst (both sides), and Memories Tapestry; XPEDX navy linen card stock
sentiment:  My Pink Stamper "Birthday Doodles" stamp set
twine:  The Twinery charcoal

Happy Tuesday!  June

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with June - birthday card

Hello!  This is June Houck with a little Shop Pumpkin Spice blog inspiration today.  When My Mind's Eye released their Lost and Found Two collection, I purchased the entire 12x12 paper collection, a few packages of the glazed brads, and a couple of packages of the layered chipboard.  I planned my entire card around the layered chipboard piece (the semicircle scallop piece with pink pearls.)

Since I decided to center my card around the layered chipboard piece called "Blush", I pulled out every sheet of "Blush" until I was happy with my paper combination.  I used five different sheets:
I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink (pumice stone), and stamped the My Pink Stamper sentiment (from the "Birthday Doodles" set) with "Darkest Night" hybrid ink.  Other supplies:  EK Success border punches, Creative Memories corner rounder, and My Creative Time "Flower Petal" dies.

Thanks for stopping by!  June

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration from Denine - Quick Cards

Hello Everyone,

Denine here bringing you some quick cards again.
One of the things that I just LOVE about My Mind's Eye - The Sweetest Thing and nearly all of the My Mind's Eye product lines, are the way the papers and accessories just melt together.

Then I noticed that the Carta Bella Lines Winter Fun and Merry & Bright were an exact match to the colors used in the MME The Sweetest Thing line.  Ohhh was I excited because I LOVE the quality of both of these paper line.  The 12 x 12 papers for both are thick and have texture... oh I just Love them... did I say that already.  Anyhow, enough of my gushing... here are the VERY quick cards I made to mainly show off the color coordination and the paper.   I just did 'fronts' tonight, because I am out of Kraft cardstock and I really think that will work best with these two.

Isn't the print and pattern beautiful on this paper.  I loved the doily print the minute I saw and... I was going to use it for holiday cards ... but... well as you can see that didn't happen. lol

Stamp sets - Fiskars - Friends.
Ink: I also used Texas Chocolate ink for both the edging and the stamp - love this ink.
My papers are from MME "My Sweetest Thing" Lavender - Fabulous Berries and Carta Bella "Merry & Bright" - Green Glow/Cotton Candy and "Winter Fun" - Frozen Beige/Rouge for the solid base layers.
I also used My Sweetest Thing Stickers for the banner, and some Jute.

Well I hope you enjoyed my quick cards.

Happy Friday and Come back tomorrow for our Weekly Challenge... they are so much fun.
There is still time to enter this weeks LOVE challenge... come play with us and be inspired by the other submissions.  They are such a blast to go look at.

Hugs,

Today's Challenge: Love! Use your imagination!

Here is a project for some inspiration.  Spice's birthday was last week, she turned 18!!
Here is the card I made for my sweet Spice!

I layered Bazzill Classic White with Bazzill Dark Suede Brown and then My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 2 "Blush - Better dotted paper"  I love the 'sparkle' that the glitter accent adds to this paper.  Really easy to put together a card when you have a paper that does all the 'BLING' for you!

The Happy Birthday stamp is from the My Pink Stamper's Birthday Doodles stamp set, which is currently on Sale HERE!

Spice loved it!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration from Saundra ~ Tags

Hi There! It's Saundra from Luv Scrapping Together!

I am back with more inspiration from Shop Pumpkin Spice.

Today I bring several Christmas tags I created with items from the "Winterland Fun" Kit.

The only thing that is not part of the kit is my solid green paper.

My daughter needed some tags for some Christmas gifts so I set to make the tags as she requested. The first tag had to be pretty. So this is what I came up with.

I cut this tag from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge. The poinsettia comes from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I cut the petal layer 3 times, layered it, then added one of the flowers that comes in the kit. To that, I added some Frosted Lace Stickles, card candy dot, and topped it with Glossy accents. I attached this beautiful ribbon. All of the embellishments are in the kit plus so much more!

For this tag, I cut the base from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and the gift from Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. Again, I added some Frosted Lace Stickles and card candy. The sentiment is from MPS Birthday Doodles stamp set (retired).  As you can see, I was mimicking the wrapping paper and I think I did a good job!

This last tag is one that matches the wrapping paper. I cut the 2 circles and the red snowflake from Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. This one was really simple. All I really needed to do was pop it up and add some card candy and it was finished.

You can still purchase the "Winterland Fun" kit. Just head on over the Shop Pumpkin Spice Store and snatch it up before it is gone!

This is my last 2012 post for Shop Pumpkin Spice. I will be back for another year with Denine and all the 2013 design team girls in January. Look for some great new stuff happening here on the blog.

Have a Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

WEDNESDAY MORNING JAN 4, 2012- GOOD NEWS My first post for PSDT

Good Morning Friends,
This is DIANA L. from DL.ART
I have some good news and info for you. I applied last year for the Pumpkin Spice Design Team  and just before Christmas I got the letter offering me a position on the team.
Am I excited?  Yes.
For my first design post  I was able to incorporate it into real life.
My Brother in laws Birthday is on Jan 2. So I made this card for him, the great thing is all of the products that I used on this card, can be purchased at shop pumpkin spice. If you like a good deal and quality for your money,  then shopping here would make you even happier, especially if you spend over fifty dollars, because then shipping is free.
Recipe:
The six patterned papers that I used all came from My mind's eye
Ink Tim Holtz: dusty concord
Cricut Cartridge used: Simply charmed
The cake was cut at 3"
the balloon was cut at 4"
the twine from the Twinery : lemon drop
The button from American Crafts: elements neutral

Because I am new to the team, and  for those who want to know more about me,
you can double click on the heading and  it will take you to my blog.  Once there, you will have a plethora of random information that you may and may not want to know.
Thanks for reading this post all comments are welcome.
DIANA L.

Our team will also be having our monthly blog hop on Saturday January 7, 2012 I hope you will join in to see some fantastic designs and a new kit, that will be available and the price is amazing.

Some Halloween "Littles"

Hello Friends,

Wow, with all the beautiful projects from the ShopPumpkinSpice Design Team gals, I don't feel worthy of posting my little project here. But I had so much fun with Pumpkin making them, I just had to share.

How many of you have toddlers or pre-schooler's and find it difficult to find crafting time?  Well, I DO!! However, I feel very lucky that Pumpkin enjoys playing with paper just like mommy.  So, we decided to make a couple of cards this week.  She LOVES twine and some of the Lime Twist colors work perfect with the Halloween papers from both Echo park and MME.

Here are some pics of a couple of cards we made together.

She enjoys 'holding' the paper while I cut and the 3 x 3 size is wonderful for her to pick some of the embellishments and 'help' me glue together the small papers.  We only do 'Fronts' so I can put them on a card base or tag later.  Pumpkin also has her own pair of safety scissors, so the scraps are all HERS... She love making 'confetti'. lol (didn't get a picture of that 'project')

She has just been introduced to STAMPING...she 'eeeekkkkkked' in excitement with the 'Happy Halloween'  & 'Trick or Treat' stamp from MPS Spooky-Puns.  (oh my, am I in trouble, Robyn is going to have a new follower)

Well, I though I would share my perfect solution to getting some crafting time into my busy day. Maybe you can use some ideas for your own little ones.  Crafting always seems to help me 'de-stress'

Thanks you so much for taking the time to check out my posting today.  I hope you got a 'smile' out of something you saw or got some inspiration to go do something crafty.
