Family living and bright colours are the main focus in this rental apartment. The strong colour palette kicks you right as you enter the apartment. Green, yellow, pink and blue may seem like an overwhelming colour choice for many, but the owner have combined the colors, so it all still works quite stylish. Whole space feels energized, youthful and happy. I dig the entrance, dining corner in the kitchen and small bedroom in red. If you want your space to be modern and affordable, this is the style you should be going for.

Can't describe how I am thrilled to find photos of this AMAZING and SO coool apartment! There are great design ideas for small spaces, especially if you're a renter. The owner is tv show producer and a blogger Janet Lee. This lady has style and experience in small space living without sacrificing stuff and colour. Although I love purified apartments, decorated minimally...this one screams my name. This style is much more me, and my aim is to create something similar at my home. Janet published a book Living in a nutshell several months ago, have to buy it as soon as possible. She's ultimately inspiring to me.

Although I adore white kitchens, white can look bad if outdated and neglected as shown below. In this makeover, young couple went for bold kitchen and burst of colour in details. Every inch is well used now providing lots of storage and enough space for work. My husband and I would enjoy in this kitchen as he loves to cook and I'm more of a baking person... ** Iako obožavam bijele kuhinje, bijelo može izgledati i vrlo neugledno, kao što najčešće pamtimo neke domove od prije deceniju i po - dvije. Takav primjer je i ova zastarjela i krajnje nefunkcionalna kuhinjica od 7.5m2. Naravno da bi novi bijeli elementi, sto i stolice i nešto dekora djelovali fantastično; ali mladom paru ipak bolje pristaje vatromet boja i kuhinja sa karakterom i mladalačkim duhom. Svaki centimetar je sada odlično iskorišćen, tako da ima mnogo više mjesta za sve kuhinjske potrepštine, a opet i dovoljno prostora za rad. Moj muž voli da kuva, ja volim da pravim peciva i kolače, i oboje bi uživali u ovakvoj kuhinjici...

After loong break due to family obligations and finishing preparations for a baby, I hope to be regular on posting again. And what's better to start with but the sunny apartment with striking orange kitchen? (I would be very happy in it)

{eto, nakon ponovne pauze, nadam se da se vraćam regularnom pisanju. nadam se, jer mi ovo pričinjava veliko zadovoljstvo i žao mi je kada ne mogu da postignem pored porodičnih obaveza i posla...a uskoro stiže i novi član porodice :)

I čime je bolje opet početi, nego obilaskom sunčanog stana koji u sebi spaja klasičan namještaj sa retro bojama i detaljima u stanu...}

inspiring kid's rooms

I'm all about kid's rooms now. How strange, right? :) It's almost the only thing I see everywhere on the internet. While preparing this post with inspiring rooms for kids, I found a few showing exactly what I wanted for my 3 year old boy's room he will be sharing soon with his baby brother or sister. I've already wrote about us(parents) moving into living room, freeing up the space for him - to have his own kingdom... We didn't do that yet, but now's definitely the time!

When comes to my home decorating style - I wouldn't know how to describe it...as I love or sorts of different colors, styles, finishes. You probably noticed the range of colors here on the blog - from white, neutrals and grays to muted or bright colors. My motto is "everything could work well, if it's in the right context". What I'm saying is that it doesn't matter if something is out of style or ugly - it can be pretty again if you surround it with right items, colors and textures.
Anyway, what I said doesn't have much with this post and this cozy home we're touring. But...look at the simple coffee table - it's the focal point of the room because it is surrounded with cool colored furniture.
