You are Magical ♥

 Thanks for joining me...

I created a fun mystical card for the current paperbabe stamps anything goes challenge on the blog today...
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this unique mystical card,
yummy navy with hints of rose gold.
I started by stamping the standard eye from the female face set, in distress oxides and coloured with copics.
R21,32. BG11, 70, 72, 75. BV25. B60. W2. E70, 11.
Then added the lashes with versaclair ink last.
and complemented the story with the newest mini hands that I coloured with my copics: E11, 13, R02, 39, YR000,
and then stamped the mystic adornments in versaclair ink. Which I then fussy cut, and added those jewelled nails and finished off with You are Magical sentiment inside.
The Sizzix crystal ball was a wonderful addition, I love how it came together, I cut the aperture from the navy and the rose gold card in the same position, to then go back in with the 'glow' die, cut in the navy so the gold would show through. I've added a layer of acetate and then put the whole thing on dimensional adhesive to give depth over the eye.

I would love to play along in these challenges...

Happy Birthday ~ Dad

Thanks for visiting...
I hope you enjoyed a lovely Bank holiday ♥ our week was busy with May fair, and I just got the chance to get into my craft area for the new anything goes challenge on the blog today...
I created a masculine card using the wonderfully muted tones of the Vintage doll patterned papers, along with the Birthday Wishes stamp set.
The animal print patterned paper can be embellished with the same stamp image in this die set as they are the same scale, great for adding a metallic effect with embossing powder.
The DAD sentiment was such a fun element to create, I thought I would try die cutting some frosted acetate to get a floating look and I've added some patterned papers to the letters only. To get the added shadow I've die cut the same letters in adhesive black foam and only applied it behind the paper letters to achieve a neat dimensional look.

and I would love to enter my project to these wonderful challenges too...

Spring Time ~ Paper Art Doll

 Thanks for visiting...

Today is the last day of term, ready to break up for Easter ♥
We have a new anything goes challenge on the blog today and...
I created a jointed paper art doll, with a simple dress, using all those extra flowers I had left over from my last challenge piece.
I've used the Body base along with the portrait head and stamps, the hands and the cute Serena hairstyle, all joined together with the wonderful paper brad.

Rainbow Springtime Hippie Chic

Thanks for visiting...
Wishing all the mothers a very happy special day ♥
We have a new anything goes challenge on the blog today and...
I created this super bright colourful springtime card using the Jointed paper Art doll collection. It's a larger A5 card so I could fit everything on lol.
I die cut the body but trimmed away the holes from the torso I was going to add arms but went with this look instead. I die cut the Portrait Head first and stamped her face and ears in a mix of inks, using a stamping platform meant I could keep adding colours.
To complete her look I have used the super fun the Ashryn hairstyle, I thought it would look wonderful and fun.
To make her an interactive part of the card I have used the paper brad fastening so her head can move side to side. I've added foam adhesive to the card behind her head but didn't remove the backing so it would give height but not stick.
The background... well I have had this stackable florals die set from sizzix quite a while it's unfortunately discontinued now but so happy I've got to use it, it's so quirky. I've used six colours, a pastel rainbow of sorts and die cut all the elements in each colour then went to town creating this floral pop background.
