Basic Grey Challenge #24 ~ Mad Skillz

Hello Saturday already?... which means we have a new challenge on Basic Grey Challenges...

Basic Grey Challenges 22 ~ Colour Combo #6

Good Morning, today we have a new challenge on Basic Grey Challenges... a gorgeous colour combo by our lovely Heather. Pop over to see the amazing cards from my DT friends :)

I have had this amazing image un-inked for some weeks now and only got to colour her in, she is beautiful! I have coloured her with my copics and tried to keep to the BG colour combo but think the butterfly chose to be pink tee hee! The background I've been wanting to try since I saw Traci's pretty card, mine's very dark and some of the vines are lost too!
I have applied dots of liquid pearls over the bubbles on the image, they give a raised pearly texture. I have painted over the whole image with a generous amount of crackle paint, now she reminds me of the old paintings!

Ok!!! the felt flower, I knew I HAD to have this die, it was on my wish list for a while then I spotted it over at craftydevils and could not wait!!! I love it I think you will see many many cards with this one somewhere LOL!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: BasicGrey: nook & pantry;
Stamps: Sweet pea stamps: plate #29;
Ink: Memento: black; Copic: markers*; distress ink: weathered wood;
Dies: Sizzix: flower 3D; OntheEdge: scroll; Texture fades: burlap;
Other: Adhesive pearls; Prime: lace; liquid pearls; distress crackle paint: clear rock candy; 3D foam;

*Skin: E000, E00, 11, 13 & R20, eyes: B41, Hair: E31, 47, 79, Outfit: E50, 51, RV34, 21, G00, G0000, BG13, 32, 49, E40, 41, Background: 100, B99, BV29 and I used colourless blender throughout!

Club Anya & Friends Final Preview ~ Thursday Creeper

AM I BOVVERED? LOL! I couldn't help it, Thursday Creeper is so the part.... Whatever!!!

It's the final preview for Club Anya & Friends so let me introduce you to Thursday Creeper, she is without a doubt so full of tude and confidence tee hee! Check out her super fabulous outfit!!! I have paper pieced her fantastical hat and even found some adorably tiny buttons to decorate! Although some of the image detail has been lost with the plaid pattern. I have followed the Mojo sketch, I may have left the bottom ribbon out... just, there was enough going on with the card and I decided to add a little inky grunge to the edges too.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Basic Grey: June Bug;
Stamps: The Greeting Farm: Thursday Creeper (available 1st May); Talk Loud; Stampers Anonymous ~ Tim Holtz: bitty grunge;
Ink: Memento & archival: black; Copic: markers*; distress ink: pumice stone; inkessential: white;
Dies: Spellbinder's nestabilties: inverted scallop; EKSuccess: border punch;
Other: buttons; tracer, 3D foam;

Mojo 82 - 50th Congratulations

Just a quick post... this was inspired by the sketch over at Mojo Monday.

I've used the label 1 to represent the points instead of the square layers, I went for this cute couple thinking of them in the old days LOL! Used masking method and coloured with copics.

The hearts are instead of the butterfly and I've moved that up a little. The sentiment has been stamped and heat embossed in gold (golden wedding theme). Click on images for close look!

Materials:
Paper: Dasiy D's - attic heirloom, MM - natural card, white card,
Stamps: WoJ -
Sitting Oakley & willow, CCSR - senitment,
Die's: Nestabilities Labels 1, squares, Sizzix - hearts.
Ink: Memento - black, copics, embossing ink, distress inks,
Other: American Crafts - sheer ribbon, peel offs, gold ep, 3D foam.
Thanks for stopping by I will be showing my Basic Grey design team card tomorrow so hope you pop back to see, HuGs Kim x
