Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peeks: On the Line Cutting Plate and Eventful Cocktail Party

 

Welcome back for Day 2 of sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions!!  I have two more projects to share with you today!  The first uses the NEW On the Line Cutting Plate!  This is an adorable cutting plate that give you these two trees that you can string things in between, or just create a scene on your card front!  I used little accessories that come with the die. . .the line, the lanterns and the birds.

The cutting plate also has the tree tops pieces that you an lay over the base of the cutting plate.  This allows you to use a different color for the tree tops.  I used a sentiment from Coconut Cove for this card.  The background or "sky" was created using the Cloudy Days Embossing Folder.   As a finishing touch I used the Grass Border Die to complete the scene.

The second card I have to share uses the NEW Eventful Cocktail Party Die.  This is the newest in the Eventful line of products at TE.  Rather than an invitation, I used this die for a card.  I die cut some Strawberry Milkshake cardstock and some peapod and then paperpieced the margarita glass.

The sentiment is from the Chillax set.  The background was created using the NEW Bead Board Embossing Folder.  At the top of the card I used the NEW Rainbow Scallop Border.  I think this made for a bright, fun card that would make anyone smile!

Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peeks: Build a Scene Underwater and Little Bits Lighthouse


Hi there!  Welcome to the June sneak peeks for Taylored Expressions!  We have lots of fun, new products to share with you, so I hope you're as excited as we are!  :)  I have two projects to share today.  The first uses the NEW Build a Scene - Underwater dies.  I used a sentiment from the Under the Sea set.

I actually used a lot of new products on this card.  The water was created using the NEW Build a Scene - Rolling Waves die as well as the Bubbles Embossing Folder.  I created the underwater scene with the Build a Scene - Underwater dies.  There are a couple of dies in the set that I didn't use.  They were seashells. . .so cute!!  The little fish come as part of the NEW Little Bits - Fishing Boat die.  I think all of these dies created a happy little scene, don't you?

The second project I have to share uses the NEW Little Bits - Lighthouse die.  Again, I was able to create a happy little scene with these dies!  The papers are from the Build a Scene 6x6 Paper Pack.  The hill was created with the previously released Build a Scene - Rolling Hills dies.   The sun was created with the Build a Scene - Sunshine dies.

The NEW Little Bits - Sailboat creates this adorable little sailboat.  It's great because you can die cut the sails in a different color than the boat.  The last new product I used on this card is at the bottom. . .the Rainbow Scallop Border.  I thought it went well with the water on the card.
