JustRite Mega March Blog Hop Day 2

I have a project to share with you using the Beautiful Blossoms and Seeds of Kindness sets from JustRite. I decided to create a little decor that would light up any room! At least any room in my home! :) I used the Nested Flower die from Spellbinders to create my flower. I cut out the picture of my kids using a Plain Circle Nestabilities die, mounted it onto some Certainly Celery cardstock and attached that to the flower center. I stamped the flowers from the Beautiful Blossoms set onto white cardstock, colored, cut out and attached to the large flower. I stuck some play dough (have lots of that!) into the bottom of the planter and stuck the sucker stick for the flower stem into the play dough. I put some green filler in the pot for grass. Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto Dark Chocolate cardstock with white craft ink and embossed it in white. I die cut a tiny butterfly to attach over the stamped butterfly, punched out the circle and attached it to my flower pot.

30 designers, FIVE shopping sprees each day. No one knows where the prizes will be! Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of $600. JustRite will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees. For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including the JustRite blog. The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning. Each day’s comments will remain open for three days. A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Consult the listing of designers at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way! Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted on the JustRite blog. Good luck to everyone and enjoy all the JustRite eye candy along the hop!

Today during the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop (Day Two) JustRite and its sponsors will be giving away the following five prizes:

· $200 JustRite Shopping Spree
· $100 Spellbinders Shopping Spree
· $100 Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Spree, and
· Two additional $100 JustRite Shopping Sprees!

Blog comments for Day Two will be open until Friday at 6pm EST. On Saturday, JustRite will announce on their blog which five blogs have the mystery candy for Day Two. You will need to go to the JustRite blog to determine where you need to go to find out if you are one of the five lucky winners.

Super Fast Treats

I just wanted to share with you my SUPER quick treats that I made for my daughters to take in to school for Halloween this year. Time really got away from me this year, not to mention I have a daughter in kindergarten and one in preschool, so I had to come up with double the treats! Being really short on time, I decided on these two ideas. For Arwen, I put a candy mix in little cello bags and tied them closed with "Frankenstein" or "Mummy" ribbon attached to a tag using the Witch Way to the Treats set from Just Rite Stampers. I got this set at Stamper's Dream. I think I found the ribbon in the Target dollar bin a couple of years ago. Stamping and punching these tags went very fast!

For Savannah, I decided to wrap these mini microwave popcorn bags in some Halloween paper and add a tag. We bought a box of the Act II "Halloween" popcorn at Sam's Club. The bags already had Halloween images on them, but I just couldn't send her in with plain bags, now could I? LOL The set I used is one of my FAVORITE Halloween sets...and it's especially perfect when you're short on time because there's no coloring involved! It's the Spooky Silhouettes set from GinaK Designs. I can't tell you how many times this set has saved me! LOL Plus, it's adorable! Every time I pull it out, it takes me a minute to decide on which image to use because I love them all! :)

Well, I hope I've given you some hope when you feel like there's no way you can create special treats when you're really short on time. I made up 20 of each of these in no time, and the girls got to help, which they LOVE! Thanks for stopping by!

Warm Thoughts

This time of year, I'm always looking for ideas for "little somethings" I can give to people just to say thanks and that I appreciate them. This year, for the first time, we interact with 3 crossing guards on our way to school every day. I thought something like this would be perfect for a crossing guard! I wish I could have the hot cocoa already made and hand them a warm mug as we pass, but this will have to do! LOL

I used the Something Sweet set from Just Rite Stampers. You can find it (and many other Just Rite products) at Stamper's Dream. I colored the image using Copic markers. The "folder" was made using a 4.25"x11" piece of cardstock and folding to make the pocket. I punched holes on either side and threaded ribbon to hold the pocket together. Simple, but cute I think. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Something Sweet (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Creamy Caramel (SU); Paper- Colorful Christmas (My Mind's Eye), Dark Chocolate (PTI), Prism; Accessories- Copic markers, circle and scallop circle punches (Marvy Uchida); Finished pocket measures 5.5"x4.25"

Friends

Here's a cute little card using the Friendship set from Just Rite Stampers. I got this set at Stamper's Dream and it's out of stock right now, but there are LOTS of other wonderful JustRite products at Stamper's Dream. There are a lot of holiday sets that are perfect for cards or gifts! Don't forget to check out the Sales & Specials section while you're there! Michelle also has LOTS of new stuff, so you don't want to miss the New Arrivals section!

Well, today is Savannah's second day home from school. It breaks my heart because today she was supposed to go on a field trip and RIDE THE BUS! She was so excited to ride the bus (we walk to school). She came down with a fever on Saturday, so she missed a birthday party she was invited to on Sunday, now two days of school and the field trip. It looks to just be a cold with all her sneezing, but the fever worried me. It was much better last night, but she's supposed to be fever-free for 24 hours before sending her back to school. Being sick stinks. . .especially when your child feels well enough to want to do what she normally does. Hopefully she won't remember that today was her field trip because I know she'll be really upset when I have to tell her she can't go. :( Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a wonderful day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Friendship set (Just Rite Stampers); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Crushed Curry (SU); Paper- Kitchen Spice (Bo Bunny), Prism; Accessories- Plain Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Copic markers, ribbon (May Arts); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Let Your Dreams Grow

For my card today, I used the Friendship Borders and Centers set from JustRite Stampers paired with some paper from the Indian Summer Fall Stack from Die Cut With a View. To create the frame, I stamped the JustRite border in Wild Wasabi ink and then punched it out with a Giga scallop punch. I colored the tree with markers, cut it out and attached it over the stamped image of the tree. You can find this set as well as many other JustRite products at Stamper's Dream. Michelle is always adding NEW stuff to the store, so check out the New Arrivals section as well as the Sales and Specials! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Friendship Borders and Centers (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Wild Wasabi (SU), Onyx Black (Tsukineko); Paper- Wild Wasabi, Choc. Chip (SU), Indian Summer Fall Stack (DCWV); Accessories- Choc. Chip grosgrain (SU), Giga Scallop circle and Mega circle punches (Marvy Uchida); Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Sweet Treats

Here's a cute little paint can filled with peppermints that I made using the Something Sweet Borders and Centers as well as the Holiday Demi Phrases from JustRite. The two demi phrases I used are "Warm Winter Wishes" and "From your Secret Santa". I love how you can interchange the different phrases to create your own message. This clear paint can was a can that some prima flowers came in, so it was nice to be able to re-purpose it!

You can find these and many other JustRite stamps at Stamper's Dream! Thanks for stopping by today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Something Sweet Borders & Centers, Holiday Demi Phrases (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Melon Mambo (SU); Paper- Melon Mambo (SU); Accessories- Crushed Curry marker (SU), Regal Rose grosgrain (SU), circle and scallop circle punches (Marvy Uchida)

Flower Soft October Challenge

The Flower Soft October Challenge theme was Halloween. I thought quite a bit about what to do with that theme and I ended up using some embossing. I used the Haunted Halloween Cuttlebug folder for the background. Then I used the Calendar Borders & Centers from JustRite Stampers. The frame had leaves circling "October", so I used Autumn Flower Soft to cover the leaves. I think the Autumn mix is my favorite. . .at least right now! :) I also added some chipboard numbers to mark the date of Halloween. For finishing touches, I added the ribbon and faux stitching.

Be sure to stop and see what the rest of the Flower Soft Design Team created using the Halloween theme:

Jennifer Buck
Niki Estes
Carole Burrage
AJ Otto
Sharon Johnson
and October guest Jeanne Streiff!

Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Calendar Borders and Centers (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- True Black, Orange Zest (PTI); Accessories- Autumn Flower Soft, ribbon (Darice), white gel pen, Haunted Halloween Cuttlebug folder (Provocraft); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Happy Birthday, Savannah!

Today Savannah is 6 years old! I know I say this with each kid's birthday, but I can't believe she's six already! She looked like such a big girl this morning as she got ready for school and was so excited to share the treats we'd made for her class.

I got out my 2 3/8" Wood Stamper with Bonus Font and Center as well as my Celebrations Demi Phrase set to stamp the Happy Birthday To You Savannah. You can find both of these JustRite sets at Stamper's Dream. We colored the cupcakes with markers and added glue to the tops and dunked them in Dazzling Diamonds glitter. We added Dew Drops for the cherries and then added them to the toppers of the treat bags. Savannah always loves stuffing the treat bags and then adding the toppers. She couldn't wait to give them out to her class. . .and I can't wait until she gets home so I can ask how they liked them! :)

Trick or Treat

As I was leafing through my last Stampin' Success magazine, I really liked the "A la card" layout and thought it would work well with this Witch Way to the Treats set from JustRite Stampers. I only used the centers for the "background" piece. Then I sponged around the stamped images. The finishing touch was the ribbon and the Trick or Treat tag.

You can find this set along with LOTS of other JustRite products at Stamper's Dream. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Witch Way to the Treats (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko), Crushed Curry (SU); Paper- Crushed Curry, Basic Black (SU); Accessories- Copic markers, circle and scalloped circle punches (SU), ribbon (May Arts); Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Christmas JustRite

Here are a couple of super simple, but elegant cards just for Christmas. If you're like me, your Christmas card list is pretty long, so you can't spend tons of time on each card. Using some of my JustRite Christmas sets has made that possible.

For this first card, I used the Christmas Joy set from JustRite Stampers. I paired it up with some metallic paper and a Sizzix snowflake embossing folder to keep it simple, but pretty.

For my second card, I used the A Merry Little Christmas set, also paired with some embossing. I used the Lace Tree Cuttlebug folder for this one. It makes a great background image to be paired with a sentiment.

You can find both of these JustRite sets at Stamper's Dream, along with lots of other JustRite products! Keep your Christmas cards quick and simple! Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're having a great weekend! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- A Merry Little Christmas, Christmas Joy (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Versamark, Onyx Black (Versafine), Plum Pudding (PTI); Paper- Metallic Stack (DCWV), white (Georgia-Pacific); Accessories- circle and scallop circle punches (Marvy Uchida), Plain and Scallop Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), ribbon (Darice), Snowflake embossing folder (Sizzix), Lace Tree Cuttebug folder (Provocraft); Finished cards measure 5.5"x 4.25"

Simple Blessings

Here's a card I made using a new favorite tool. . .the Flourished Frame Cuttlebug folder. I just got it at Stamper's Dream, but apparently I snagged the last one. I just LOVE it! Why? Because all I had to do was run a piece of cardstock through my Cuttlebug in this folder and then stamp an image inside. I used an image and sentiment from the Autumn Blessings set from JustRite Stampers. You can find this set, as well as many other JustRite products, at Stamper's Dream! Doesn't this make for a simple, but elegant card? If you didn't feel like coloring an image, just a sentiment would look beautiful in this frame! I love quick and simple cards that look like you spent forever on them! :) Thanks for stopping by. . .hope you're having a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Autumn Blessings (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Dark Chocolate (PTI); Accessories- Copic markers, Flourished Frame Cuttlebug folder (Provocraft); Finished card measures 4.25"x5.5"

Christmas JustRite at Stamper's Dream

This week is JustRite week over at Stamper's Dream and the The Dream Team has lots of beautiful eye candy to show using the Christmas release from JustRite Stampers!

For my project I used the Christmas Treasures set. I decided to "dress up" a candle as a gift. I used some Night Sky Shimmer cardstock from Papertrey Ink to add to the sparkliness of the gift. I stamped the image on both white cardstock and Night Sky Shimmer and cut along the "skyline" so that I could add the night sky to the image. I used gold glitter glue on the stars and sands of the image. You can't see it very well in the photo, but the cardstock that's wrapped around the candle is embossed using the Allegro Cuttlebug folder. I thought it would be neat to add the music notes with "Silent Night Holy Night" being a part of the image.

Here is the Dream Team schedule for this week. You won't want to miss what they have to show you!

Monday: Tosha , Denise , Kimberly and Michelle
Tuesday: Laurie , Amy , and Michelle and me
Wednesday: Laurie , Tosha , Kimberly and Michelle

Just Rite Happy Birthday

Here's a card using the Autumn Blessings Borders and Centers from JustRite Stampers. I paired the stamps up with the Just Chillin' Girl papers from Making Memories. I thought it gave a nice warm feel to the card. You can find both the papers and the stamps at Stamper's Dream. Michelle has lots of other JustRite stamps and accessories too!

I colored the image in using Copic markers. I cut the image using Plain Oval Nestabilities and Scallop Oval Nestabilities. For finishing touches, I added some faux stitching across the top of the card and some Chocolate Chip grosgrain.

This week is JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream. The Dream Team is featuring projects made with the July releases from JustRite!

Today, I'm featuring the 1 3/16" Wood Stamper with 3 Damask Centers and Bonus Font. I just LOVE this set. It makes monogrammed notecards so quick and easy. For this set, I used Valerie's Notecard Box tutorial. It made for a beautiful gift set that I was able to put together very quickly by using coordinating papers and adding a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream!

It's JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream! All this week, the Dream Team is featuring the newest releases from JustRite Stampers! Here's the schedule for this week so you can check out the wonderful creations!

Monday - Kimberly , Laurie , and Michelle
Tuesday - Tosha , Cammie , Michelle and me
Wednesday - Denise , Tosha , and Michelle
Thursday - Cindy , Laurie , and Michelle

For my creation, I used the Tiny Words and Centers set. I decided to create something that my daughter Savannah would LOVE. . .a Top Secret Notebook! :) Hidden behind the Top Secret button (and attached with hemp) is her "decoder". I made it by brayering Pure Poppy ink over acetate and punching it out with the scallop circle punch. To keep the ink from being smeared, I punched out another piece of acetate to place over the wet ink and sandwiched them both between two black scallop pieces.

Remember these "decoder" things when you were a kid? I always remember there being a busy pattern that hid the words. The busiest background pattern I had that I thought would work was from one of my Verve sets, Wishful Elegance. I used the Harmony Rectangle Stamper to stamp "Savannah's, Keep Out" in light blue ink within the busy pattern. In order to see the "secret words", you have to use the "decoder" which blocks out the red pattern so that all you see are the words! (you may have to click on the photos to see an enlarged version so you can actually read the words!) Savannah LOVES it! She thinks it's magic! LOL Be sure to stop and see what Tosha , Cammie , Michelle have for you today! I'm sure you'll LOVE their projects. . .I know I always do!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a GREAT day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Tiny Words and Centers set, Harmony Rectangle Stamper (JustRite Stampers), Wishful Elegance (Verve Stamps); Ink- Pure Poppy (PTI), Onyx Black (Versafine); Paper- Pure Poppy (PTI), Basic Black (SU), acetate; Accessories- Circle and scallop circle punches (SU), Bind It All (Zutter), hemp

Ruff Day?

Here's a very simple card using an image that I think is just hilarious! It's from the Patterned Pets set by Inkadinkado. I paired it with a sentiment I created using the JustRite Harmony Rectanglar Stamper set with the Brayton Font. I just LOVE the sentiment with the dog's face. . .it makes me laugh! The patterned paper is from the Penny Lane Free Bird Paper Pack from My Mind's Eye. All of these products are available at Stamper's Dream.

If you're having a bad day today, hopefully this card will put a smile on your face too! Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Patterned Pets (Inkadinkado), Harmony Rectangular Stamper with Brayton Font Set (JustRite); Ink- Burnt Umber (Palette); Paper- Penny Lane Free Bird (My Mind's Eye), Kraft (PTI); Accessories- paper piercer, Chocolate Chip markers (SU), button (Foof-a-la); Finished card measures 5.5"x4.25"

Weekend Sketch Challenge #75

It's Friday and you know what that means. . .time for another Weekend Sketch Challenge! This week's wonderful sketch is hosted by Mary Jo! Head on over to her blog to check out the sketch!

Instead of a card, I was inspired to make a scrapbook page today. I never make scrapbook pages of my hubby and me. In fact, since we've had kids we have very few pictures taken of just the two of us! So I thought I'd start to change that. :) I used the Delicate Dots Designer Paper from Sale-a-bration along with some Certainly Celery, So Saffron and New Leaf (from Papertrey Ink). I also used some new JustRite Products! I used the Vertical Stamper Set with the Times New Roman Lowercase Font. "Dream" is from the Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Ensemble. You can find all of these JustRite products and more at Stamper's Dream!

Don't forget to check out what Beate, Cambria, Jenn, Laurie, Lori, MaryJo and Sharon have created using today's sketch! I can't wait to see their fabulous creations! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Vertical Stamper Set, Times New Roman Lowercase Font, Special Occasions Font, Harmony Classic Oval Stamper II Ensemble (JustRite); Ink- Summer Sunrise, New Leaf (PTI); Paper- Delicate Dots DS, So Saffron, Certainly Celery (SU), New Leaf (PTI); Accessories- Certainly Celery ribbon (SU), Plain Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders), paper piercer, Certainly Celery marker; Finished page measures 5"x7"

JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream!

It's JustRite Week at Stamper's Dream this week! The Dream Team will have projects for you all week showing off the new products that are available! Here's the schedule for the week and be sure to see what Michelle and Kimberly posted yesterday if you missed it! (Michelle has some Dreamy Treats too!)

Monday ~ Michelle and Kimberly
Tuesday ~ Michelle and me
Wednesday ~ Tosh, Kimberly, Michelle, and Denise
Thursday ~ Laurie, Cindy , Michelle, and Kimberly
Friday ~ Carolyn and Kimberly

My project for today is a vase. The "vase" is actually an empty embellishment jar. I knew I could use it for something someday! LOL I filled it with clear, flat marbles and then snipped and coiled 12 gauge floral wire to make the flower picture holders. The kids call my mom "Trishie" instead of grandma, so it was great to be able to personalize it with her name. I used the Celebrations Demi Phrases Set and the 2" Wood Stamper with Bonus 15pt Font for all of the stamping. You can find these and many other NEW JustRite Products at Stamper's Dream. Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to stop and see what Michelle created for today! SUPPLIES USED: Stamps- Celebrations Demi Phrases, 2" Wood Stamper with Bonus 15pt Font (JustRite Stampers); Ink- Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko); Paper- white (Georgia-Pacific), Pink Pirouette (SU), Lemon Tart (PTI); Accessories- flat marbles, 12 gauge floral wire, Plain Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Copic markers, Baby Pink and Sunshine Yellow Flower Soft
