Exciting News

It's housework day today and we also got some friends coming over, so it's more to do but I just popped in to make a quick post as I have some exciting news to share...

Wooo Hoo hoo hoo hoo !!!!

Yes, I'm a guest designer at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge for the month of JULY!!!

I'm so excited, I've already started thinking on what to do for my cards.

June in fact is turning out to be a very exciting one for me. First I won Fany's awesome candy with my flower card ... and then later on the day I found out I won at the Crafty Pad Challenge and won the most adorable stamp from Crafty Sentiments.

and then this!!!!

I was so excited when I got to read this awesome news!! Luckily for me everyone was asleep ;) !!! Woo hoo! Ow I love blogging he he :)

Well, better go now, 'cos I'm still not ready.

I'm hoping to pop in later on with a card ..

Sparkles

This week, at One Stitch At A Time there was a DT Call and well, I decided to have a go. We got this gorgeous new stamp, Sparkles, to play with and this is what I did...



I did add sparkles.. on her wings, on the bottom part of her dress and on her hair but it doesn't show much I'm afraid.. will take a better picture tomorrow in the sunlight.

New Home

It's a New Home card for me today and today I'm using a new stamp, Hope Jacare's Toadstool Cottage which I bought last month from Stitchy Bear Stamps. I didn't have any home stamps and when I saw it I just had to get it. Lucky for me now that there are some challenges where I can use it :)



I coloured the stamp with my promarkers and the fab papers were the bonus papers in the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine... BUT .. you can download them for free from here if you like them!!! I'm using again my new water lily punch from Martha Stewart, think it's so pretty and also a new punch, the fern punch. These were my birthday presents from ME last month he he :)

These are my challenges for today :)

1 - Sir Stampalot June Challenge - PUNCH IT!... mine are the border punch, Martha Stewart's water lily and fern punches and also the corner punch in the main image.

Father's Day

It was back to work for me today! Yesterday it was a public holiday here in Malta which I really liked, even though we didn't go anywhere. Kids spent the morning studying for their annual exams and then in the afternoon they had canoeing with the scouts.

As for me, I decided it was about time I planned our holiday and took this opportunity to do it. We are going to Orlando this year.. woo hoo :)) We've already been there three years ago but we all loved it so much that we decided to go again and visit different parks that we hadn't last time. Of course, there will be some shopping for me too.. ha ha ..yes craft supplies .. you guessed.. I can't wait! I've been told on places where I should go by some blogging friends but any more tips and advice on where else to go would be most welcome ..Michael's and Jo-Anns here I come!

Anyways... here is my card for today.


It's another Father's day card and again I'm using one of Karen's images which I coloured with my promarkers. I did some distressing today... using a foundation sponge !!! woops :) .. well I think it worked out fine! What you think? and can you notice something... NO BLUE... I was so tempted to use it but this to fit another challenge and I like it this way now! Ow and the circled sentiment.. I did that on a Word document.

Amazing Candy for a Good Cause

Kristen is offering this amazing candy to encourage us all to send cards to Ethan and Bella who are in need of support.

This is Ethan, who has been fighting a battle with a severe form of cancer for a few years and is now undergoing more treatment.



And this is Bella who developed a severe infection and lost all 4 limbs. She is now needing intensive therapy and needs a lot of support to help her through the difficult times ahead.
