A Wedding Dance

I didn't manage to do my DT card this week, so I thought to share instead a wedding card I made for my friend who got married this weekend on Saturday. We have met at the fitness and dance classes we go to, so I thought these Forever Friends dancing teddies stamp would be just perfect for her.

I colored the image with my promarkers, the border die cut is from Crafty Sentiments, the hearts are Marianne Designs, while the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. I finished off the card with some peel offs.

A Special Wedding Card

Today it's a Public Holiday in Malta and we have a family wedding. I thought I would share the card I made for them for this special occasson.

The card is an extra large 8 x 8 size and I used one of my fave Forever Friends stamps. Colored it with my promarkers. Love the soft colored background DP, and I bought the hearts ribbon from here.

Well I better be off to get prepared as it's a morning wedding.

So I will be back with some challenges later on in the evening.

For a Child

Hello everyone.. I'm still here :P My posts are so sparse lately, sorry, but have lots going on at the moment...  long hours at the office, hubby on leave and painting the house, and the usual Bokwa classes and marathon training as well!!! Since I had my birthday this year and reached the age of 45 I have become somewhat of a fitness enthusiast (or freak?? ha ha). Last Sunday in fact I did the 7km President's Fun Run for Charity and I really enjoyed it. I used to do it as a walk but I've been wishing to do the run instead, so this year, after lots of training, I managed it and am so proud of myself too :) Really wish to continue, but don't want to give up my card making too.. and so I'm really hoping to be better off next year doing less hours at the office!!

Anyway, here's my card now, which I'm posting for the new challenge at

To make my card I used a Forever Friends stamp and if you look closely, even the ribbon has the cute teddy on it! I colored the image with my promarkers, border die cut is from Crafty Sentiments and then used Papermania die cut flowers which I've had for a very very long time... I really love it when I do this :)

It's A Girl

What a day yesterday .. and today another longish day again... in fact I just returned home now and am so tired that we decided to get a take away for dinner he he and so glad I decided to take tomorrow off ... and hubby too :P We will first take our son for his A Level exam in the morning and then we are going to spend the day as we please :)  I like to do this once in a while and tomorrow seemed like the perfect day since Saturday is my birthday! So keep a look out as I want to get together some candy :)

Anyway, thought I would share this card today, which is an extra large one, 8x8!

I had never made such a large card before but this person wanted it large so I was really pleased I got this Forever Friends stamp, as it is quite large too.. so just perfect! There are three large gorgeous clear stamps in the set and also other small ones. This is the first one that I am using.

The DP are from Stamp Fairy, the leaves are Marianne Creatables, the flourish is Memory Box, while the cute bib is a Whimsy Shapeology Die.

Snowflakes

Woops I totally forgot yesterday to post my Monthly DT Card for the new challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'!!. Understandable though being so busy doing the Valentine Cupcakes to take to the office today :) .. 

yum yum ..they were sooooo good. Everyone loved them. Lucky for me hubby came early from work and did dinner himself as otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't have managed.. and I guess he thought either that or he would go hungry ha ha :P

Anyway, onto my card now. The theme for this month at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is 

SNOWFLAKES

I decided to use this pack of Forever Friends stickers that I had bought one time and made not one.. 

but three cards.

All three very similar. I just stamped snowflakes all around the border on the above two cards, and for this one, the first one that I did, just the stickers, peel off sentiment and an embossed border to finish it off. I love how they came out.. and were so quick too :) .. that's why I managed to do three :P

Guest Designer with Forever Friends

Good evening everyone. I am still doing the catching up with my cards and today it's time for this card which I did for the new challenge at Forever Friends. In November I was so lucky and my card was picked as their Favourite. Besides winning a fab set of embossing glitters I also won a Guest Designer spot for this month :D

So this is what I had made...

For my card I used one of the many beautiful Forever Friends stickers and just stamped all around the card with my Card-io Majestix little clear stamps, which I had bought last March at the NEC. I loved how it turned out.

One for the boys

Another very busy day at the office yesterday and all afternoon as well. First I had taxi driving and then I also went to try to buy me a dress to wear for tomorrow's cocktail party, which unfortunately was unsuccessful. The only one that I really liked was about Eur200, so I didn't even try it on, in case I liked it a real lot. I didn't want to spend that much money on a dress, which I would probably wear only once!
So that means that I still don't know what to wear for tomorrow!!!

Anyway, I have another Christmas card today and this time it's my DT Card for the new challenge starting today at I ♥ Promarkers. The theme for this week is
ONE FOR THE BOYS
so you can make anything you like, just as long as it is for the boys and coloured with Promarkers, Acquamarkers, Flexmarkers or Triamarkers.



I have of course decided to make me another Christmas card and used this gorgeous Forever Friends stamp that was a freebie in a magazine.

Kept my card very clean, and just added three gems, peel off sentiment and the gorgeous star that I recycled from an old Christmas card.

Even the background scene I have recycled. It was on the inside of an old Christmas card which I was going to chuck away. I really love how my card turned out today.

Babies

I noticed today is World Cardmaking Day!!  I thought I couldn't let this day go without posting anything. So here are two cards that I did ... ...

... ... two baby cards and as you can see very similar... just the colours.. and the card candy and pearls, and the pacifier on the baby boy card. Well I couldn't help myself since I was doing them at the same time!

A Baby Card

Hello everyone, hope you are having a nice Sunday. Today hubby went off to Hong Kong.. he came back from Paris on Wednesday but off he went again today. This time he will be staying longer unfortunately, up til next Sunday .. so I will be busy doing everything by myself here!! .. and I am definitely not looking forward to tomorrow when school begins over here!!! Aaah the traffic will be a big big mess boo !!  I hate it!!

Well all alone at the moment, so thought I would make a post with a baby card I had done some time ago...

Ribbons and bows

Good morning, another hot and sunny day here in Malta ... 35C ... If it weren't for the boys that they are still doing their exams I would be heading straight off for the beach. Just one more to go on Monday and that's it ... and then my younger son will take over the comp for sure! He has already planned to go to the beach on Monday but then it's just playing games with his friends on the internet! Why can't kids be like we were when we were young?

Anyway, I have a DT card today, and it's for the new challenge starting today at Sweet Stampin. The theme for this week is RIBBONS and BOWS and I thought that it would be perfect if I combined it with a wedding card that I had to do. 

For my card I used one lovely paper from a Pink Petticoat paper pack that was a freebie in a magazine quite some time ago, the sweet image is a Forever Friends clear stamp, border punch is Martha Stewart and the corner clear stamp is from LOTV.
