Happy Easter

Hello, hope you are having a wonderful Easter with your family and friends. This morning, before going to mass, I really felt like doing one last Easter card with my Bildmalarna stamp, which I had last time stamped and coloured and not used up .. and so here I am... this is what I did.

Quite a different card than the ones I usually do, because I'm not using any DPs this time. The stamps I used for the background are all from Quick Cards and Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine freebies, while the butterflies ones are clear stamps from Pergamano. Had totally forgot about them and how beautiful they are.

Coloured everything with my promarkers. 

The sweet bunny border is a freebie paper from the Papercraft Inspirations magazine. I popped it up with foam, like I did for my Bilmalarna stamp and the butterflies.

Goodies in my Mail

The weather is horrible today.. raining and windy... errrmmmm... it's such a perfect crafty day, don't you think! I did make a card but definitely am not taking it out in the rain to take a photo... so thought I would show you instead what the postman brought me this week :))

First are these gorgeous die cuts from Chrissy woo hoo :) We did a goody bag swap after I asked if anyone wanted some of my leaf die cuts, and mine arrived yesterday. Was so excited when it arrived and I already used one of them. Thank you Chrissy, you are so generous. I really hope you like what I sent you as much as I liked yours xx

Next is this awesome goody bag from the girls at Quick Cards magazine. 

This was for appearing in this month's magazine and was a total big happy surprise as I didn't know there would be a prize behind that. Wow I was so excited.. there are some stickers, peel-offs, clear stamp set, a brass stencil AND papers!!!! Woo hoo I love love that.... thank you girls :)

And this now is a lovely stamp candy which I won from Stempelientje .. woo hoo o so sweet, can't wait to make something with her. Thank you Stempelientje xxx

Quick Cards Magazine

Just returned from the card-making lesson I give out to some kids here and today had the pleasure of hearing one of the kids saying how much she likes coming   :) Was so pleased with that! 

Don't have a card today, but I thought I would make a quick post about something exciting. It's about this month's Quick Cards magazine and I'm one of the girls featured in one of this month's articles  :))  woo hoo so exciting! 

I had forgotten how exciting it was to be in a magazine. I love magazines, and last month hadn't realised my subscription was due ...wooops... and since there was a gorgeous 6x6 paper pack as a freebie, just couldn't miss that! Luckily the stationery had the last one, of course I got it much more expensive this way! Well, now I have to wait for this month's to arrive here in Malta as still haven't renewed my subscription, I spent way tooo much on craft stuff lately, and have to hold on a  bit!!!

Better go now, still got dinner to fix and ermmm some DT Cards as well!

Wings

O wow I can't believe it's already Friday!!! As they say.. you don't see the time go by when you are busy. Been so this week but now I managed to do this card for some challenges.



Sorry about the picture not being so clear... I'd really love to get me one of these stand up holders for cards and proper lighting too.. but I thought I need some MS punches more than this for now. It's my birthday on the 18th so I'm going to treat myself to some goodies :) .. A leaf punch and a deep edge border punch are definite ... don't have these. And then I also saw a pop up waterlily punch... wooh it's telling me to get it too and the doily lace.. I don't know if I'll be able to resist!

I coloured the butterfly stamps with my promarkers, using all shades of blue which I found in my box :) .. how I enjoyed this ! When I done that, I cut round the outline and curled the wings a bit and then I stuck it from the centre and put some foam underneath the wings beside the centre. The paper and the Chipboard Fairy Tag were free gifts in the card making magazines which I buy.

Shaped Card

O what a day today it was. My kids are camping for the weekend with the Scouts, and so we had a day all to ourselves, me and my OH :) So first we woke up really really late, then we went to Valletta, our Capital City, coffee, shopping, lunch and then we took the ferry and went to Sliema for more shopping at the newest shopping mall at Tigne Point! I really enjoyed it 'cos it was such a nice sunny day and I don't get to do much shopping whenever I have my kids with me. I got me a new bag and two new tops ha ha :) and some clothes for them too... hoping they'll like them :| They are starting to be a bit difficult now that they are growing up!

Now for a card, and today I got a shaped Card

... another EASTER Card, my LAST one, definitely now, but I just can't stop making them this year! This cute bunny stamp, which was a free gift in the Quick Cards magazine in which I'm subscribed to, is so cute that I couldn't stop making cards using it.

Easter Card

Yesterday I just said that I wasn't going to be able to post anything today as I was going to be busy... well, it's 1.00am here in Malta and here I am with another card :)

The cute bunny stamp, which I coloured with my promarkers, was a free one in the Quick Cards magazine and the papers are from my Papermania Spring Time paper pack.

I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge No 2

Hello, here is me again with my card for this week's I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge :) I've been quite busy this week, but ... well ... I made it!

As I was saying yesterday, this card is for my hubby's aunt who is a nun in an old people's home and it's the first time I'm making a card for her. I'm confident she'll like it 'cos the piccie is such a cutie :)

So for the challenge.. We had to follow this sketch and the theme was Spring.



I got the piccie, which was a free one, from here, the papers from issue 70 of my fave magazine, Quick Cards Made Easy and here is my card .. Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting and for any comments you may wish to leave me :)

Apron - Aegan and arctic blue
Flower - Canary and orange, Grass and Meadow green
Watering Can - Ice Greys 2 and 4

Valentine Wedding

Isn't it great, it's Friday??!!! can't believe it's already Friday, I really didn't see the week pass by.... perhaps because I was so engrossed with my new blog ;)

I got a party tonight, actually a Carnival Ball. I get to dress up, and this year I'll be wearing arabian :)))

So, I don't think I'll have much time to do a card tonight, and so I thought I'd share with you a card I made last week instead for a Valentine Wedding next Sunday.

I used an embossing board to do the embossing on the hearts which was free in my favourite magazine, the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. The papers were also free, but in the Quick Cards magazine, but you can download 'til your hearts desire from here.

Celebrity Challenge Card

Today... finally ... I got the JANUARY issue of the Quick Cards magazine!!! Thank God I subscribed, because I couldn't take this any longer, this waiting, so hopefully I will start getting it on time now!

So .. as I was flipping the pages... what did I see? ... My card :))) That's right!!! I had taken part in the Celebrity Challenge on Craft Bubble and was a runner-up. I won some lovely stuff too .. here are the pics :)
