Lady in Scarf

I still have a few days vacation leave to take this year, so seeing that today was a Public Holiday here in Malta, I took yesterday and tomorrow leave as well yay .......  five days in a row off from work !!! Have some fun filled days planned ...

... yesterday I went off to the pool with my younger son and a friend with her kids. My son has been telling me so much to take him to a pool instead of to the beach for a change so we finally went yesterday! Spent all day long there, we loved it! Today we went to the beach...  tomorrow some errands ..  and on Saturday we are going to the Splash and Fun water park with friends... ending that with a bbq till late yay.. so looking forward.

I still managed to fit in some crafting.. This is a card I was making just for fun.

The image that I used, Lady in Scarf, is another of the stamps that I got from the Fundraising for Lydall store. I coloured her with my promarkers, flowers are CREAlies die.

There are many digis and some goodies as well being sold to raise funds for Lyndall, who is battling cancer.

Photos and lots more..

I wasn't planning on another post today .. but here I am... and you need a cuppa with this post though as its a longish one... lots to share ... ... 

So first I got some photos.... This is me and Maurizio this morning.. he is on holiday with his mum from Italy. Me and my sister got to know him through internet and so this morning we met them and spent some nice time with them.

We first went to Sta Lucia to visit a Chinese Garden. It's a very small garden, but very nice and very well kept.

After that we went to Marsascala. Wasn't a very nice day unfortunately.. not sunny at all.. but it's always like this on Good Friday! 

My brother lives in Marsascala ...

 and so we also popped at his lovely place for coffee ha ha  :)

Very nice day, really enjoyed it....  Now look at this gorgeous card I received this week from my lovely blogger friend Corry ... what a surprise and how nice nice nice of her to think of me. Thank you Corry so so much..  loved it xxx ... She must have known of the boo boo I had this week  :(  'cos the card arrived just the next day that I broke one of my MS punches ........... aaaahhhhh !!!!  Did that ever happen to you?  Well now I wrote to them ... hoping that errmmm something can be fixed.. who knows!! Fingers crossed. 

Some goodies now... definitely a long post ..... .... I know I did tell you about the lovely candy I had won last time from Bridget but I didn't realise I never showed you the goodies.... he he I must have been so excited .. there were a nice stamp set of The Snowman, promarkers, 10 sheets of 216gsm solar White Neenah Cards, a £10 gift voucher from The Secret Crafter and also self adhesive Laura Ashley ribbon...  woo hoo thank you again Bridget... you had made a one happy girl :) 

I've also got a blog award now which I received yesterday from my blogger friend Tina. Thank you Tina for thinking of me again, such an honour. Love it xx

Blog Awards and a Favourite

Hello girls, sorry was a bit away this week ... been having some of my unmojo time unfortunately, does it happen to you? I get it mostly when my OH starts complaining that I spend too much time in my craft room  : |    aaah so good to come back and find this really sweet blog award.. actually not one but two... one of which I was given by two lovely ladies.  

This is the first one, from my sweet blogger friend Tina...

and then the next award is also from Tina and from Cebelica as well. Thank you so much girls, I am truly honoured and flattered that you thought of me. 

As you know, there are some rules to follow with blog awards.... but I'm always at a loss to whom to forward them to, and since I don't want to miss anyone, I am just going to forward them to all my lovely followers who always come and say hello. Now I also have some exciting news, as today I just found out that this Card, my first Side Step Card, which I sooo loved making and am still so excited about... he he :)

was one of the cards featured at Flutter By Wednesdays this week.. 

Woo hoo .. I was wishing I'd make a Top 3 with it somewhere and now finally today woo hoo  :) just what I needed to feel better :)))
