Father's Day

It will soon be Father's Day, so I thought I would share this card that I made. Usually I find male cards quite a challenge to do, but not this one as I knew that I wanted to do a horse for the main image. .. then well, everything came along easily.

I found the image on the internet, and colored it with my promarkers. The background DP is from a Wild Rose Studio paperpack, and then I cut out some die cuts and used twine to finish it off.

Father's Day

Yesterday I ended up not doing the housework I needed so much to do and just spent a whole day crafting :) so the house is still a big mess ... including my craft-room which is the worst of course!!! Bits of paper, dies, stamps, markers everywhere, well anything you can imagine after a day of crafting. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.  Housework will have to wait until tomorrow.

Today again no classes, and I'm soooo frustrated. Hubby just can't stand me any longer and he was so relieved that he had a dinner planned out with friends. So I alone here I thought I would share another of the cards that I did yesterday before doing some more crafting.

Here it is, another father's day card with the fishing theme. 

This time I used a digi image which I found free on the internet. I realised I didn't have much stamps or digis for male cards, only cute ones which I don't really like. Luckily I found this one which I thought was really fun. I printed it in brown instead of the usual black outline.

The background sea theme DP was a freebie in a magazine, while the yellow one was in the We R Memory Keepers paper pad. Quite a quick card this was. I just used my Spellbinders die to do the zig zag pattern, added some twine, clouds die and of course the sentiment.

Father's Day

Since I started working again full time and changing my lifestyle to doing loads of fitness training I of course haven't been able to find much time for my blog here. It had to be only just to share my DT at I ♥ Promarkers, but today, having a day off at home, I thought I would share this Father's Day card that I made before I start to do what actually I took the day off for... ..

Here it is.. I love this rubber stamp, a friend had given it to me a long long time ago but I don't know the make unfortunately. I colored it with my markers and used DP from WeR Memory Keepers.

 

I added doodling and finished it off with twine, a fish charm, card candy and two dies as well. I printed the sentiment on the computer.

Well I better get going to start doing some housework.. the house is a big mess :(

A Father to be

I was asked by a colleague of mine to make a Father's Day card to give to her husband, who is going to be a father for the first time really soon, so thought to make a post to share, as I thought it came out so sweet.

She asked for the stork and those exact words on the front as well and so it was quite easy. I found the stork image free on the internet, colored it with my promarkers, and the polka dot papers I recycled from an old shop-bought card. I then finished it off with a little bow and two silver gems.

I really loved how it turned out.

Happy Father's Day

Good morning all. A lovely sunny day here in Malta with temperatures expecting to rise to 30C today!! I would have preferred to go to the beach, but today being Father's Day we are going out for lunch all together. .. might go afterwards, but don't know yet.

Anyway, being Father's Day today I thought I would share two cards I made for this occassion.

This one I coloured with Copics and I did the background with a new ...Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card, very large rubber stamp that I bought from Simon Says. First time using it as didn't have a clear block large enough, but then I decided to try it without that, and the result was good!

My second card for today is for grandpa and this time I coloured the image with a mixture of Copics and Promarkers. I always forget the one set of copics that I have!

The DP is a real oldie from Papermania and I just printed the sentiment on the computer.

All Stitched Up

Good morning everyone. Wow it's already June!! Soon we will start going to the beach and I am soo looking forward to that.. to those lazy Summer days by the beach  yay yay :)

Anyway, it's Wednesday today, so time for a new challenge at I ♥ Promarkers. The theme for this week is to add STITCHING and so, since it will soon be Father's Day, I decided to made a Father's Day card.

For my card today I used an image from Teddy-Bo which lucky me I had won some time ago. I really loved coloring this fun teddy :) but didn't like a lot how my card turned out today.. looks like I am lacking my mojo again!

Crafty Sentiments April Release

Good morning everyone. It's not a nice day here in Malta today! Pfft!!! I had planned to go to the Sunday market in Marsaxlokk this morning to buy fresh fish, then pick up mum from the old people's home to have lunch with us and take her out somewhere, so not sure what we will be doing now .. this not to mention that I already missed my early morning walk today!!!

Really musn't complain though, we've been having some really nice weather lately .. emm just complaining that it didn't have to be this Sunday :P

Anyway, onto my card for today. It's time for the April new release at Crafty Sentiments and this time it's a mixture of summer, sun and sports.

For today it's time for Toby Golfer and I coloured him with copics and promarkers too. The lovely papers that I used were a magazine freebie.

The corner die is Die-Namics while the border is Spellbinders... a new goodie :) I'm so pleased I got this!

A Father's Day Card

Hi, I have a Father's Day Card today, and I made it for my boys to give to their dad yesterday. ... 

As you can see I'm beginning to add more stuff again on  my cards, in fact I think my mojo is finally back as it didn't take me long to do this card and I really enjoyed myself doing it as well  :D

Sweet image is from LOTV, first time using it; I coloured it with my promarkers, papers are Papermania, card candy, raffia and a button to finish it off. The sentiment is computer generated.

Another Sailing Boat

After all the male cards I did, I understandably was still in the male making cards mood so another male themed card today, with another sailing boat image. This time the image is a digi one from Digi Doodles Shop's Best. 

I printed the image on cream coloured card today, and did the little colouring I had to do with promarkers. The birds are a clear stamp from an Inkadinkadoo stamp set and the beautiful striped paper and the sentiment are a digi download from Polka Doodles. The anchor embellishment was a picture on a wrapping paper. I cut it out, stuck it onto thick card and then cut round it. So that's another card going in my box today.

Father's Day Cards

Hello good morning, I'm rehearsing again today. Yesterday it was great, met some nice people, lots of running and rehearsing rehearsing and rehearsing, a bit tiring, but I loved it. Luckily we just stayed till 4.00pm. No Brad Pitt though.. just his stunt running with us ... boo .. and a bigger boo they emphasized with us that we must not ever try to get his autograph, talk to him and no photos whatsoever booo booo booooooooooooo

Anyway, I got my DT Card for this week's challenge at Crafty Sentiments and this week we set out a very popular theme for you ... Father's Day Cards. For my card today I used this adorable little digi stamp Charlie Bear and coloured him with my promarkers.

Daddy Cool

Another long day at work today, so tiring and tomorrow I have to be at the rehearsals at 6.45am!!! Duh.. I usually leave home later than that for work .... hmm I better have an early night or I won't wake up he he 

I thought I would make a quick post today and show you the Father's Day card I did for hubby from the kids... guess what, they already gave it to him  :) 

I used again Maurice from Pollycraft to do my card, so fun and cute this Maurice is, he he  :) 

A very simple card, I coloured Maurice with my promarkers, striped papers........ recycled from a paper bag.... embossing, computer generated sentiment, card candy and that's it!

Make it Masculine with StampFairy

Hi, sorry I'm so late today with my StampFairy Challenge card today, but just returned home from working overtime til 6.30pm..... boo so long when I usually finish at 2.00pm!! I'm going to be so busy this week at the office and at home as well as when I went for the costume fitting today they gave me the dates that I will be working, and they are a three whole weeks, starting next Saturday! Besides that, I got rehearsals next Wednesday and Thursday as well.... hope all this is going to be worth it to see Brad Pitt!!! 

But, onto my card now.......... as you might have guessed we want to see MALE cards this week at StampFairy, so popular at the moment with Father's Day next Sunday. I did a Father's Day Card using this sweet teddy from the Chubby Handyman Set 2. 

I coloured him with my promarkers, papers from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, card candy, sentiment computer generated and banners with my Die Namics die.

A pretty pink dress with a little cardigan and a large red bag!! I THINK I would have loved to be a zombie instead of wearing normal clothes ha ha   : )

Football Fan

Lots of male themed challenges around at the moment, which made me realise I still haven't started my Father's Day cards! This one I did for my FIL, and as you might have guessed he is football crazy. He doesn't look exactly like the guy on my stamp he he :)  in fact he only wears glasses to read, is quite a bit thinner and got some hair as well ..... very different you must be saying, but my son liked this image and it is so funny, so I decided to go for this one. Hope he likes it!

The stamp that I used is Maurice from Pollycraft, and was one of the freebies in the store. I coloured him with my promarkers, and since he likes UK football, went for the red white blue colours. Stars done with my Die Namics die, sentiment computer generated and my lovely MollyBloom flag banner stamp, a magazine freebie woo hoo I love this stamp so much!

A Father's Day Card

Hello everyone, I've got another Father's Day today, and as you can see, it is a bit different from the other ones I've made so far. This one is going to a new daddy.. baby is about four months old. His grandma, who is a colleague of mine, asked me to do a card for the daddy. In May she asked me to do a mother's day card and now it's only fair we did one for the daddy too :) What you think ?



The cute baby stamp is from Phindy's Place which was a freebie. As always, I used my promarkers, which unfortunately some of them are saying bye bye now :( ... what else can I expect, I've been using them and using them so much... Time to get me some new ones... can't stay without my promarkers... love them :)

Father's Day

I decided to do another Father's Day Card and this time I'm using this cute teddy from Prairie Fairy which, lucky me... :) is one of the five stamps I had won in one of the challenges!! I had so much fun colouring this one, he is so cute I think :)

Father's Day

It was back to work for me today! Yesterday it was a public holiday here in Malta which I really liked, even though we didn't go anywhere. Kids spent the morning studying for their annual exams and then in the afternoon they had canoeing with the scouts.

As for me, I decided it was about time I planned our holiday and took this opportunity to do it. We are going to Orlando this year.. woo hoo :)) We've already been there three years ago but we all loved it so much that we decided to go again and visit different parks that we hadn't last time. Of course, there will be some shopping for me too.. ha ha ..yes craft supplies .. you guessed.. I can't wait! I've been told on places where I should go by some blogging friends but any more tips and advice on where else to go would be most welcome ..Michael's and Jo-Anns here I come!

Anyways... here is my card for today.


It's another Father's day card and again I'm using one of Karen's images which I coloured with my promarkers. I did some distressing today... using a foundation sponge !!! woops :) .. well I think it worked out fine! What you think? and can you notice something... NO BLUE... I was so tempted to use it but this to fit another challenge and I like it this way now! Ow and the circled sentiment.. I did that on a Word document.

Father's Day Card

Male cards are not my favourite, but you can't avoid them, can you? and with Father's Day coming up and all these male challenges going on, I decided to challenge myself and make one too.

Not that I didn't enjoy making this one, how could I? ... look what a cute new image from Prairie Fairy Designs I got :) Yes, it's a new one, but actually I got not one new... but FIVE :) and that's not all.... 'cos I won them too !!! Woo hoo :) fabby fabby fabby :) !!!
