It's Wednesday, time for me to show you what is on my desk. I made a card last night for the Willow Sketchie Challenge and tidied up after and this is how the desk looks now.
There is still the stack of finished cards leaning against a box, you can see a sneaky peek of my Willow Designs card, there are some new Nesties which I received yesterday and some lovely new 'My Cute stamp ' stamps I bought from Emily at Make the Day special plus a little bonus gift from her to play with :-)
The Tunnocks tea cakes box is empty....I ate these on Sunday as a treat (not all 6 at once but in a few sittings...love 'em and hadn't had them for aaaaaaaaaages!!!)
Have a lovely Wednesday, if you want to see more desks and share a picture of yours, please pop over to the very talented and wise Julia's blog for more desk sharing fun!

Time for a new Willow Sketchie Challenge
It's Willow Sketchie Time again and it's even more exciting than usual for me this week we are using my Sketch and Recipe.
We want to see Polka dots, some stitching (real or fake) and 2 buttons.
This is the little sketch I designed for the DT to follow. This week we are using this cute little image of a sleepy bear.
I used some Funky Hand polka dot paper from the Papercraft Factory CD to cover my card base and stitched around the edges. The checked papers are a download from Willow Designs and I also stitched around the edges.
I printed 3 copies of the bear so I could decoupage him and added ribbon and 2 buttons as a finishing touch.
Please come on over to the blog to check out what the DT made with my Sketch.
I hope you will be able to join in with the Challenge too as you may win a Willow Designs download!
Enjoy the rest of your day.

A mini Willow designs card
I love mini cards, Basic grey, Promarkers, Paper flowers, Nestabilities, Kraft card and Willow Designs images! Not necessarily in that order...I decided to combine a few of my crafty loves to make this card.
I printed the Willow designs image onto textured card and coloured it with Promarkers. I covered a card blank with a scrap of Basic Grey backing paper, added a paper flower, an Elzybells sentiment and some stick on gems to create a very simple card. It doesn't need much else as the paper and image really make this card.
I am off to Ally Pally tomorrow and am so excited! Are any of you going?
Have a lovely Saturday!

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday?? I've made a big mess!
This is my Workdesk today, you can just about see it under the mess. Believe it or not it was tidy yesterday before I started but 2 Projects later and it is a total mess!
The 2 sheets of card are what I use as a backdrop when I take photos. I am addicted to using pearls at the moment and there is a sheet of them to the left of the photo. I bought the huge bottle of tacky glue in Oxfam on Saturday for £1.50, bargain! My pink ribbon has appeared again and you might spot my latest DT project for Willow designs if you look closely enough.
I hope you have enjoyed looking around my desk, if you want to see many more, please pop over to Julia's blog for hers and those of her loyal followers, you could even share a photo of yours...
Hope to see you there!

My DT card for the Willow Sketchie Challenge.
Here is my card for the next Willow Sketchie Challenge. For this fortnight's Challenge, we got to play with the Walter Owl download. He was so much fun to colour in and I really like these backing papers, I think they will be really handy for New Baby cards and for Easter. I just love playing with ally my Willow Designs scraps and seeing what I can make as they are so gorgeous and I hate to throw them away!
I used my new Martha Stewart punch on this card and some of my Nestabilities, the Butterfly is also a new punch I bought last weekend. I love it! I used what I think are flower centres which I bought from Ashridge farm to make antennaes.
The sentiment is by Hero Arts, I think their sentiment sets are unbeatable, so versatile and always lovely fonts. The sentiment was stamped on to a Spellbinders tag shape through which I threaded a lovely lilac gingham ribbon. The gems are by Papermania and Kanban.
Not so sure about my colouring this week, I have been experimenting with a new linen card and my Promarkers and it is not as nice to use as the canvas textured card I had got used to.
This is the lovely sketch by Karen which we followed this week. Make sure you pop over to the Willow Sketchie blog to check out the rest of the DT's gorgeous makes. Join in with the Challenge this week and you could win one of Sharon's gorgeous Willow designs downloads.
Have a lovely Thursday!

I love digi Challenge no 3: An Easter Card or Gift
It's time for our 3rd Challenge already on the I love Digi Blog and the theme this fortnight is Easter. We would like you to make an Easter card or gift....or both!
I decided to make a little box full of yummy Chocolate eggs to give to my Friend this Easter as my DT project.
I used a Sizzix Shaker die to cut the box from Willow designs card and decorated it with a Willow designs image. The little Chick is so cute and perfect for Easter! I coloured him in with my Promarkers.
I decorated the inside of the box with a cute little crown which is also from Willow designs.
The sentiment stamp I decorated the bottom of the box with is from the Everyday sentiments set by Elzybells. The gems are Papermania and the flowers are Hero Arts.
We have a sponsor for this Challenge, Wink Wink stamps is offering 3 digi stamps to our lucky winner.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge. Make sure you check out the rest of the DT's blogs for more inspiration. The links to their lovely blogs are in my sidebar.

My DT card for the next Willow Sketchie Challenge
It's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge. This week, we had a play with 'Missy' a lovely new download from Willow Designs. We were working with a sketch by the lovely Rosie and it was a great one!
This week, it was all about the colouring and I had lots of fun with my Promarkers creating a bright and colourful card to match Sharon's papers.
As a finishing touch, I added a sentiment from Hero Arts stamped on to a Stampin up tab shape and some lovely flowers from Prima. The felt ribbon was from Quixotic Paperie and gives a real Springtime feel to the card.
I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. I would love to see what you do with Rosie's sketch. Make sure you pop over to the Willow Sketchie blog for all the details and to see the rest of the DT's fab creations. If you enter the Challenge you could win a Willow Designs download!
Hope to see you there!

Willow Sketchie DT card.
It's time for another Willow sketchie Challenge and this one is a very exciting one for me as we are using my sketch this week to make cards! This is the first time I have designed a sketch to be used in a Challenge and I have really enjoyed seeing what the rest of the DT did with it and I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!
We were very lucky to be able to play with another gorgeous download this week, it is available ready coloured or black and white so I got my Promarkers out this week and had loads of fun!
The download had lots of fun components so it was perfect to build a great card with lots of detail and depth.
All the papers I used are also available from Willow designs and I added some glossy accents to some bits for added dimension.
Here is a copy of my sketch:
I hope you will be able to join us for this week's Challenge. As usual there will be a download from Willow Designs for the winner.

WOYWW and some teeny Willow Designs cards
I haven't done this for a while but here is what my desk looks like today! It's nice to be back! There are a couple of new things on my desk. A recycled spice rack holding buttons is one of my favourite additions and there is a patterned overpriced Craft bag which holds all my Promarkers. Very handy as it has a handle and is basically a basket so I can carry it downstairs to do my colouring in. There is a beautiful Get Well card on the button rack sent to me by Petra and a couple of finished Projects are dotted around the desk. I think you can enlarge the project if you want a closer look.
I had a play with one of my Sizzix XL dies today, the shaker box die is fab and I have made a couple of DT projects with it that I can't yet share but I put it to use today to make a box to house some teeny cards and envelopes. The cards measure 5.5cmx6cm and I made envelopes for them making a template from a Paperchase envelope.
I used a download from Willow designs to print on to card to make the box and used another to make toppers for the cards and the box.
I added ribbon to the box to keep it closed neatly. The mini cards fit inside the box perfectly.
I used different shaped Nesties to make toppers for the cards and then matted them on to squares of the patterned card.
I added Hero Arts paper flowers as a finishing touch with some gems for a bit of sparkle.
I hope you are having a good Wednesday. I wll be back tomorrow with some DT cards.

New Willow Sketchie Challenge DT Project
It's time for a new Willow Sketchie and this one is a gorgeous sketch by Karen. I was really chuffed to be able to have a play Sharon's latest download to create my DT project. The new image is so cute and the papers that go with it are just amazing and were so lovely to work with.
I decided to make a box of notelets as my DT project and used the sketch to decorate the lid.
I made the box using some pearlescent card from Payperbox and my scoring board. I inked each layer to give some extra depth. I am addicted to inking the edges of my card layers at the moment!
I added a sentiment from Elzybells which fitted the theme perfectly onto one of my new Nestie label shapes.
I filled the box with 5 Notecards which I decorated with leftover scraps from my Printouts and more images. I used some precoloureds and coloured the rest with my Promarkers.
Here is an arty close up shot of the box lid :-)
Make sure you pop on over to the blog to see all the other DT projects, the girls have made some amazingly inspirational projects this week. Here is a copy of the gorgeous sketch.
I hope you will be able to take part for the chance of winning one of Sharon's stunning downloads.
I hope you are all ok and having a good week.

My DT card for the new Willow sketchie challenge
It's time for a new Willow sketchie Challenge and this week we were lucky enough to be able to use Sharon's latest download 'Alfie and the Birdhouse' to make our DT cards.
There is a lovely sketch from Deanne for you to follow this week. I love shaped cards so this was a real treat for me.
I started off with a square card blank onto which I drew around a cereal bowl to get the desired shape.
I then did the same with my backing paper to cover the front of the card. A strip of stripey card was edged with ribbon, the raw edges tucked behind the front. I got my glue gun out and stuck white lace around the card front and then attached this to the base to hide all the workings.
Following the sketch, I added the image which I coloured with Promarkers and accented with gems. The image was matted and layered on to Kraft card and I added a Hero Arts sentiment stamped onto a Nesties tag. I finished the card with lots of Flowers from my stash with gems.
Make sure you check out the blog for lots more inspiration from the Design Team and if you take part you may win a free download from Willow Designs. You don't have to use Willow designs digi stamps to take part but, of course, if you have them...we would love to see them!

My 1st Willow Sketchie DT card
It's time for a new Willow Sketchie Challenge! This week is my first time taking part as a DT member and here is the full reveal of my card following my sneaky peek yesterday.
All papers and the precoloured digi stamp used are from the new 'Alfie and the Bumble bee' download which is available from Willow Designs and the sentiment is a free digi stamp available from here.
Here is the lovely sketch from Sharon you have to follow to take part in this week's Challenge. I added a bit of stitching around the layers of card and used buttons instead of flowers around the image. A couple of gems finished the card off.
You are not obliged to use Willow Designs products to take part in the Challenge but if you have them, we would love to see them on your projects! You have a week to take part for the chance to win a Willow designs download.
Make sure you check out the blog for more inspiration from the fabulously talented DT and I hope you will be able to join us for a chance to win some of Sharon's fab digi delights!

A willow designs flower card
I am not feeling very well today. I have awful stomach pains and am in no mood to craft. I have been lying on the sofa so far all day while my Hubby went to buy me a new hot water bottle to try and ease the pain.
I did a bit of blog hopping and remembered I hadn't shared this card with you yet.
I made this card on Friday night. My work friends and I had a crafty get together and brought as much of our craft stash as possible with us. We had loads of fun playing with each others die cuts and I cut loads of flower shapes to use on future projects. One of my favourite dies was this large Sizzix flower which I used to cut a mini card. I cut some Quickcutz circles from card scraps and a couple of flowers and coloured in my little Willow designs digi stamp to match. A Hero Arts sentiment, some faux stitching and a gem finished the card off nicely.
I hope you are having a good weekend.

The 3rd Easy Craft Projects Challenge launched today and our sponsor for January is Willow Designs. They have the most wonderful digi stamps and papers for sale , some are pre-coloured so if you are nervous about stamping and colouring but want the look of coloured stamps on your cards, they are perfect.
The theme this month is a sketch by Katie. I used a pre-coloured image and the matching backing paper to make my card and some My Mind's Eye spotty paper.
Here is the sketch by Katie, I followed it quite faithfully but it can be flipped or rotated to suit your Project.

The winner for January will receive some some Willow Designs printable sets.
It was lovely to have the day off today but I only had a little time for Crafting. I am planning an excursion to my local craft shop tomorrow to get some more goodies to kick start my Mojo. I am always inspired by new stash :-)
