Dandelion decoupage seed wallet

Before I start, I must apologise for the quality of the photos on this post, I'm not quite sure what happened but they look a bit washed out and I didn't have time to take any more.
I have a Seed Wallet to share with you today which I made using the Dandelion the Rabbit Die cut decoupage set from the Crafthouse Press.

To make the wallet I cut a 12 x12 sheet of card to measure slightly longer than the seed packets. I scored , the strip so that it folded in 3 neatly and made small pockets to fit the seed packets which I stuck to the inside of the scored folder. If you would like to have the exact dimensions, please get in touch and I will measure the score lines.

I stuck ribbon around the wallet so that it could be tied together in a bow to close it. I then matted and layered yellow card and the gingham paper in the pack.

I added the decoupaged rabbit and sentiment panel to the finished wallet and finished it off with some Prima letters, pearls and a Prima flower.
I hope you have a lovely Tuesday.

Dandelion the rabbit

I have another Crafthouse Press card to share with you today. This card was made using the Dandelion the Rabbit Die cut decoupage set.

Each pack contains 2 sheets of die cut decoupage and 2 sheets of backing paper. This card was very quick to put together and I love the summery feel of the colours. o make the card, I cut a gingham scalloped square and layered it wih yellow stripey paper. I added the cute Dandelion to this to make my topper.
I cut a piece of yellow backing paper to fit my card base and wrapped it with ribbon, I stamped a sentiment directly onto the backing paper before sticking it to the base card. I stuck the topper onto the base card with foam pads and finished the card off with a ribbon topped with a button and a pearl.
Have a lovely Tuesday.

The Crafthouse Press goes vintage

I recently received a lovely package of goodies from the Crafthouse Press which included some gorgeous Vintage Pyramage images. I don't do vintage very often so it was a bit of a Challenge for me to work out of my comfort zone.

I started by assembling the decoupage and added pleated lace to frame the image. I matted and layered pink and cream patterned card which I had inked with distress inks. I then layered up a punched border, ripped music sheet and added butterflies, handmade flowers and paper roses as well as a stamped sentiment.
As a finishing touch, I dotted aroud some pearls.
Have a lovely Tuesday!

Another Gorjuss decoupage card

I have another Gorjuss girl decoupage card to share with you. No stamping on this one but I did use a bit of ink to tone down the bright white on the ribbon.
The decoupage image and stripy paper I have used are from the Love pack of the new Gorjuss girls decoupage by The Crafthouse Press . Each pack contains two sheets of a 3D die cut decoupage featuring delightful Gorjuss images, plus two coordinating backing sheets, enough to make 4 cards with some leftovers.

The die cut shapes are great and perfect to make a quick but stunning card. To make my card, I cut a piece of the stripy paper to fit my card card blank and layered it with some Papermania V&A Paper. I sewed around the edges and then added my decoupage topper which I embellished with gems.

I toned down some white striped ribbon from Paperchase with some Antique linen distress inks and added to a flower made with Prima flowers with a popper centre.
As a finishing touch, I added the sentiment and a couple of little Martha stewart butterflies embellished with gems.
I loved making this card, the colours of the decoupage are just beautiful. I have 1 more sheet of decoupage left from this pack so keep checking back for more ideas.
Have a lovely Tuesday.

A Gorjuss decoupage card

Something a bit different from me today...a card with no stamping! A bit of ink creeped in to distress the edges of the card and papers and to tone down the bright white on the ribbon but the rest is all decoupage.
I received some fabulous new products from The Crafthouse Press to have a play with this week, this card is made using the Love pack of the new Gorjuss girls decoupage. Each pack contains two sheets of a 3D die cut decoupage featuring delightful Gorjuss images, plus two coordinating backing sheets, enough to make 4 cards with some leftovers.

The die cut shapes are great and perfect to make a quick but stunning card. To make my card, I cut a card blank with my Nesties and covered the front with some gorgeous coordinations card to match the girls dress.
I then cut a label shape from the turquoise backing paper and layered it with some rafia lace from Quixotic paperie and some of the stripy paper from the kit. I sewed the layers together with my machine before sticking to the card base.
I then got to work adding the decoupage which I embellished with gems. I toned down some white striped ribbon from Paperchase with some Antique linen distress inks and tied it into a box embellishing with a black popper and some black gems. I tied a charm with string to stick behind the ribbon.
As a finishing touch, I added the sentiment and a couple of little Martha stewart butterflies embellished with gems.
It was great fun to do something different for a change. I will be back soon with the other card I made from the pack.
Have a lovely Tuesday.

Have a Jolly Nation Christmas!

I used the rest of the die cut sheet I started on yesterday and a bit more of the backing papers from the Half Price Jolly Nation Christmas decoupage pack from The Crafthouse Press to make these cards this morning.

I was amazed I made 4 cards altogether with using half of 2 backing paper sheets, 1 die cut sheet and a few odds and ends from my stash!
I always like to make a collection of small cards at Christmas as they are handy to put money or vouchers in for a last minute present.
This card was so quick to make, I layered up red paper, lovely sparkly vellum, mirror card and a square of white card and then popped the 3 holly shapes on top. I gave the berries a bit of sparkle with some Sakura pens but you might not be able to see that on the photo.

When finished I had one tiny Robin left so I stuck him on the inside of the Robin card!

The stamped Greeting is by Elzybells.

Off to my Best Friend's house this afternoon, we are going to be making Baptism invitations for her gorgeous Baby Son.

Have a good Saturday!

My first Design Team card!

I know it's sunny outside but it is never too early to start preparing for Christmas! This card was made using a sheet from the Half-Price die cut Christmas decoupage packs from Jolly Nation. There are loads of sheets of backing papers in the pack and some lovely die cut sheets. I only used half of a die cut sheet to make this card and a tiny bit of backing paper so I have loads left for another project! As the decoupage is die cut it was really quick to put together as well. The brown spotty paper is from my stash, the ribbon is Debbie Moore and the sentiment is from Elzybells.
