The theme for this week's Squigglefly Challenge is to use the 'Colours of the Season'. I have chosen to make a card using one of Jane's adorable little Monsters and some of the fabulous Spooky Dookie Funky Hand papers.
I made a round card using my Nestabilities and then added two of the papers which I cut with pinking scissors and then my Nestabilities. I added faux stitching with a pen and some American Crafts Thickers letters. The flowers and button were from my stash and the twine is by The Ribbon Girl.
Make sure you check out the Squigglefly blog for more fabulous seasonal cards!

Squigglefly Monday Challenge - Use your favourite embellishment
The Squigglefly Challenge this week is to use your favourite embellishment on your Project. It was very easy for me to decide which embellishment to use.....it had to be buttons! I really went to town and I did have to think twice about using so many precious buttons on one card but I think it was worth it!
I used a lovely image by Jane Beljo which I coloured in to match the gorgeous Echo Park papers.
I added a string of buttons below the image and another on a little bit of ribbon on the top left of the card.
The sentiment is by Elzybells.
I hope you have a great Monday and make sure you check out the blog for loads of inspiration from the Design Team.

My DT card for Squigglefly Challenge #64 Manly-Man Birthdays
Happy Bank Holiday Monday! We have a new Squigglefly challenge for you today! This week's challenge is to make a MANLY-MAN birthday card.
I chose to use the fabulous 'You rock' digi set by Michelle Bertuzzi which is available here from Squigglefly.
I used papers from the DCWV Rock Star stack and heat embossed the guitar with glittery embossing powder. I used a Quickie Glue pen to add the embossing powder to the parts of the image I wanted to add the embossing powder to and then heat set it to get a fab metal effect. I added glitter to the stars on the sentiment which is also part of the set and then added glossy accents over the top.
The ribbon and charm are from my stash.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge. Make sure you take a look at the Challenge blog for loads of wonderful inspiration from the DT.
Have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday!

A new Squigglefly Challenge - use Ribbon
The theme for this week's Squigglefly Challenge is 'Ribbon', we want to see ribbon on your creations. My DT card is the Anniversary card I made for my Husband at the end of July. I used one of Jane Beljo's cute little monsters which you can get here from Squigglefly.
I wanted to try and add ribbon in a different way so I created a rosette to place the little monster on. To do this, I cut a pinking edge circle with my Nesties and cut short lengths or ribbon which I attached behind the circle.
I then stuck this on to my backing paper with foam pads. I added another length of ribbon and placed the sentiment circle over the top finishing it off with some letter stickers.
I hope you will be able to join us for this Challenge and make sure you check out the Challenge blog for more ribbony goodness from the DT!

My first Squigglefly Challenge!
It's my first Squigglefly Challenge since I joined the Squigglefly DT! I am still really excited to have been picked to work alongside such talented ladies and love all the new images which were released Saturday.
There is an open theme to the Challenge this week and you can create anything you like as long as you use a Squigglefly image
I chose to use 'Funny Fish' by Mark Hicks, these fish really make me smile so I chose to make a bright summery card with them.
I used Doodlebug papers and Bazzill card. I coloured the fish with Promarkers and added glossy accents to the sunglasses. I stitched around the layers and added a simple sentiment and a couple of small buttons.
I hope you will be able to join us for the Challenge, to be eligible for the prize, please use a Squigglefly.com image! There are always FREEbies available at their store!
Have a great Monday!
