Poor lighting when I took these but hopefully you get the idea of where i'm going.
Mordheim: New warband - Emissary of Bleakwood
The Emissary (warband leader)
However where the other two had stock legs, this one had both legs cut off and then re-assembled onto the Blood bowl elf pelvis.

Mordheim: New warband - Balanos and Ptelea
Ptelea
More conversions for my new warband, another based on Tree revenent &blood bowl wood elf and the other a pretty common conversion (I've seen at least 2 others) based on the Dark elf sorcerer & Sylvaneth Branchwych.

Mordheim: New warband - First member - Bayne
This is Bayne, the first of the new warband I have been working on for around a month I think.
He's made from;
Sylvaneth Tree Revenent (legs, both arms)
Blood bowl wood elf team (torso, mask)Sisters of the thorn hair
One weapon is from the old Dwarf warriors (going to have spikes added from Flagellant kit), the other is from the old Bretonnian Men at Arms.
Then then is a some pro-create / miliput, plastic putty and Martian ironearth paint used for filling and texture.

Gorgon cult; 2nd Naga completed
Finished the second WoW pre-painted plastic re-pose / re-paint.
Nothing really more to say about this than what was said about the first one :).
I'm sure I could spend more time on it, but it was a pre-painted plastic figure and therefore the detail is pretty soft anyway and I hate painting so would rather get back to something else.... or not as my muse takes me.

Skaven - Clan Skryre; Warlock Engineer
Was looking through a bits shop last month and saw the doomwheel driver and thought, hey that would be kind of cool as a wheelchair using Skyre guy....
Some wheel bits from the Lightning cannon I believe.
Small wheel from the Mortar (OOP Warhammer Starter box)
Pack from the warp flamethrower thing (OOP Warhammer Starter box)
And hey presto mostly done.
I re-posed his head slightly to make the miniature less linear (everything was facing the same direction), will require some greenstuff work and of course some arms... but nearly done already.
Messed up the wheel cap on this one a little so will require some more sanding and filling (chopped off too much from the bottom of the cap and then had to graft some back on again)

Gorgon cult - Upgraded WoW Naga
All done apart from some highlights on his Trident (and the base of course), lighting was a bit rubbish and the model is presently shiner that I would like, even after 2 coats of matt varnish... but i'm pretty happy with him, he has eyeballs and a painted tongue but you can't see that clearly in the photos particularly with the shiny issue...

Gorgon cult - paint in progress
So the painting doth begin, settled on a green fin / sail scheme for these dudes (After trying and failing orange).
Skales / Skin will be blacker when i'm finished (I hope).Started on the salamanders in the same scheme, took a scale shot so you can see how big the naga figure is vs the salamander conversion.

Gorgon cult; medium based salamander types.
A couple of horribly painted pre-painted world of Warcraft figures i'm attempting to upgrade for use as medium based warriors for my Gorgon cult.
Left guy's head was repositioned and his trident was built from an Ogre standard pole and a Dark elf standard cross section (From the OOP warriors kit).
Right guy had his left arm cut off an re-posed / sculpted, his head removed and re-posed and the same weapon build.

MORE EMBER DEMONS
A couple more Ember Demons, work in progress, needs a bunch of filling on both, these models are pretty good casts, but their fingers are quite awful, the nails and fingers have a gap between most of them, particularly on their right hands.
Guy on the left was bent into a sort of striding post using hot water and a fair amount of brute force, I was also going for a more closed fight on his right hand using the hot water method.
Guy on the right had his head glued on facing forward and then I did some greenstuff work to blend it in a bit, he also has a bit of fire in his right fist and of course some horns from the Bloodletter kit, unfortunately there is only one set of those horns per kit, I had to buy an entire set's worth of heads from a bits shop to get that one pair of horns :( and now I need another pair!

Trollstool... some kind of monster thing
This creature is something that has been on my desk for ages, been working on it over the last few months (as i've not really had any inspiration it's all my muse could manage).
The original figure is a monster from the Privateer Press out of print game "Monsterpocalypse". the arms are from the GW river troll set
The mouth and shoulders are greenstuff, though I used some lumps of tissue and superglue to save on greenstuff.

I used a little liquid greenstuff to give the shoulders some texture.
No idea how I will paint this. If anyone has any name or paint scheme suggestions i'd be happy to hear them. I'm thinking maybe "Spore master"...
I also have 4 of these little fellas from hasslefree miniatures, one day I might even assemble them.
