This will be a short entry because I am still a little on the groggy side.
My surgery went well. The doctor was able to do a complete hysterectomy with some other repairs and everything is now healing nicely.
Now...now we can really start moving forward.
It will hopefully be the last time I will have to wear these for a LONG time.
No more free hospital mugs and breathing treatments.
No more uncomfortable hospital beds and sheets.
No more tossing and turning in a room by myself all night
Sadly, no more beautiful flower arrangements from my wonderful friends.
I have to admit, I will miss this part of it. I love getting flowers.
I guess my sweet hubby will just have to bring me some every once in a while. ;)
Now it's time to just put my feet up and relax for a few weeks, doctor's orders.
No heavy lifting, no vacuuming, no laundry, no lifting grocery bags, no driving.
Gee, a girl could get used to that kind of life.
Who am I kidding, really? What do you want to bet that 1 week into this I am going bonkers because I am not able to do anything?
