Happy Birthday Elena KennyK

Happy Birthday Elena!!!!

Elena the lovely joint boss of KennyK Stamps turns a year older today and we the KennyK DT and GDT have got together to shower her with a rainbow full of birthday wishes over in Club KennyK. Come over and see what we've created.

I chose the colour Red and couldn't resist using 'Lucy' my favourite KennyK Stamps image at the moment (well it is inspired by a photo of 7 year old me so I'm allowed to be biased :P )

 Here's her close up.

I typed the sentiment and traced over it with Sakura Stardust pen before adding a few layers of Sakura Glaze pen. I added Wink of Stella to the background of the whole card so it has a subtle shimmer.

Happy Birthday Elena.
You're an amazing person and I hope your birthday is just as amazing as you are xxx

Lucy Loves Insanity with KennyK

I'm totally in love with my 'Lucy' Digi stamp from KennyK. I mean I know I should be as it's based on a photo of me when I was a kid .... but even without that background I really really love it!
I've used her on a few birthday cards so far but decided to do something different today and combine her with one of the sentiments from the Halloween Sassy Sentiments Set.

I decided to try a different colour combination - more pastelly than I normally go for. It's sort of two tone between the BV and RV Copics. It was an experiment, but I love how it turned out. I used the same two tone colour on the card mat.
Here's 'Lucy's close up.

It's hard to catch on camera, but the butterfly has a shimmer provided by clear Wink of Stella.

I added Sakura Stardust gel pen to the bolder words of the sentiment so they shimmer too. It only shows when it catches the light.

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04 with R20 Cheeks
Hair - E23, E25, E27, E18, E29, E49
Dungarees - RV52, RV55, BV01, BV02, BV04, BV08
Butterfly - RV52, RV55, Wink of Stella
Dandelions - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17

I hope you like her x

A Little Bit of Birthday Happy with Mo's Digital Pencil

I'm so enjoying colouring again & am really glad that pesky missing mojo has come back. I fell in love with this little cutie from Mo's Digital Pencil and she just jumped into my basket. I knew she'd look great on birthday cards so here she is!

Cute or what? As usual I've gone for clean and simple with Dodi as the main focus and a sentiment I got a few years ago from Create with TLC

Here's her close up.

I think the sentiment works perfectly with her.

My Own Mini Me from KennyK Stamps

Elena, Kenny, Regan and the amazing DT and GDT at KennyK Stamps gave me an amazing surprise on my birthday in December - my very own KennyK Mini Me! It's based on a photo of me when I was about 6/7 years old. How amazing is this!!!

The amazing DT from all over the world got together and created the most incredible 'Lucy' garland. I was - and still am - blown away by all the effort and love that went into this. I'm a very lucky person to be part of such an amazing team.

I've had a bit of a long break from crafting - my mojo has been missing and I've hardly made a thing since the end of September which is most unlike me. I think it's the longest break from colouring I've had for years!

Today was the day to get back into it - and what image could I use but Lucy - my Mini Me :D I thought I'd do a nice clean and simple card and got this far

...... then decided to try something a little different ......
Crazy or what!

This was meant to be my gentle reintroduction to colouring!!!

It's not an exact representation of the original photo. but based pretty closely.

Here's my close up.

I added some Sakura Stardust sparkly highlights to the sentiment and two layers of clear Sakura Glaze. The font is the free version of Magnolia Sky.

Here's my colouring next to a canvas of the original photo. I really did love my 'Butterfly Dungalees'. I wore them for as long as I could fit into them and I think they're lined up for my niece when she's the right size.

Elena and Kenny thanks again for this absolutely incredible gift.

#2016BestNine

I love the Best Nine Website that finds the nine most liked Instagram pictures from the last year. Mine was a lovely look back and contained equal numbers of some of my favourite digi artists - KennyK Stamps. Make it Crafty, Saturated Canary & Noxine Stamps

After a three month long spell of complete lack of Mojo I'm hoping I'll be crafting again soon. I've never gone this long without colouring.

Here's to a Happy and Healthy 2017 xxx
