Elena, Kenny, Regan and the amazing DT and GDT at
KennyK Stamps gave me an amazing surprise on my birthday in December - my very own KennyK Mini Me! It's based on a photo of me when I was about 6/7 years old. How amazing is this!!!
The amazing DT from all over the world got together and created the most incredible
'Lucy' garland. I was - and still am - blown away by all the effort and love that went into this. I'm a very lucky person to be part of such an amazing team.
I've had a bit of a long break from crafting - my mojo has been missing and I've hardly made a thing since the end of September which is most unlike me. I think it's the longest break from colouring I've had for years!
Today was the day to get back into it - and what image could I use but
Lucy - my Mini Me :D I thought I'd do a nice clean and simple card and got this far
...... then decided to try something a little different ......
Crazy or what!
This was meant to be my gentle reintroduction to colouring!!!
It's not an exact representation of the original photo. but based pretty closely.
Here's my close up.
I added some Sakura Stardust sparkly highlights to the sentiment and two layers of clear Sakura Glaze. The font is the free version of Magnolia Sky.
Here's my colouring next to a canvas of the original photo. I really did love my 'Butterfly Dungalees'. I wore them for as long as I could fit into them and I think they're lined up for my niece when she's the right size.
Elena and Kenny thanks again for this absolutely incredible gift.
