I bought a pair of fabulous lined khakis from JCrew a few years ago (and would love another pair--are they making them again?), and now receive the catalog on a regular basis. In general, I don't really like their style anymore (loved paging through the mag in college), so when I look through now, it's to see if I get any inspiration.
This past issue I ripped out a few pages of different color combinations.
I took the basic colors and made a simple thank you card. I'm not super thrilled with how I added the orange bit, but I needed to keep this card somewhat manly (read: no bling).
The colors I used were Mountain Lake, Lemon Grass and Mango Tango. All the stamps are Stampin' Up. I like how these colors work together and need to find another way to incorporate that orange or pink bit (her shoes and clutch).
I've got a couple more coming in the near future!
