Here's another entry for Black and White Wednesday!

We've only just begun on Christmas goodies for the year...

How does it happen that it's always the end of the month when I get to this? Here's my contribution to Black and White Wednesday:

These are from our garden: I recently dug up all the carrots, though the parsnips are still out there, as are the beets. It's gotten colder, but the ground is still soft enough to dig.

Whew, almost didn't make it for BWW this month! I knew what I wanted to do, but just hadn't made it to a pumpkin patch.

This is a Cinderella pumpkin and is really fun to see in person. I have several other photos of pumpkins, but this one looked the best in black and white.

Time for my contribution to Black & White Wed! For this month, I'm going to feature something that everyone in Wisconsin is getting excited about: apple orchard visits!

Honeycrisps are still the most popular apple around here--folks check at the farmer's market every week to see when they're ready. I'm excited to make a pie!

My friend Susan has cooked up a new idea: Black & White Wednesday!

The general idea is to feature photos of anything food-cooking-eating related using only black and white.

I'm going to try to participate once a month, focusing on a food that's particular to that month.

One of our local grocery stores just got in a shipment of Michigan blueberries and we picked up a 5 lb. box!
