I found this set on my shelf, all lonely and sad and the little birdie told me he needed some ink.  Just a little to get him through the next year of neglect on my shelf.  Poor little thing.  So this card is for you, little birdie - I still love you!  Cutie pie.

The Sweet Sunday Stampers have samples to show you today, so don't forget to stop on by to see:

Have fun!
Karen

One last card from my Dirty Dozen days - the theme for this card was "in the round", so why not use the blossom Nestabilities die? The paper is from the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit and the glitter stickers are Making Memories.  Yep - love to use those stickers!

Thanks for stopping by!
Karen

sprinkles & smiles

I'm flying home today - so sad to have my girls week out end, but I miss my family so much it hurts. I'll show you a fun and happy card to take my mind off my wonderful little loves and marvelous husband, who has been Mr. Mom for 6 days now.  God I love that man!!  What would I do without him?  More old and retired paper for you today - I have no idea what the name of this is, but I sure do love it!  The cupcake is a Martha Stewart felt sticker and the sentiment is from Papertrey, Ink.

Bye for now -
Karen

so*kind

Doesn't this card just scream out SPRING!???  I love this layout from Mercy Kerin - MTSC47.  I used  distressing ink on the embossed paper again for this card and added a sprig of leaves with buttons - just like in nature - haha!!

Today a good friend and I are heading to LA to go see a taping of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson!!  I'm uber excited to go see his show!!  Being the night owl that I am, I rarely miss his show and he just cracks me up!  It should be interesting seeing how the only thing I am allowed to bring in to the CBS studio is myself, my ID, and the clothes on my back - which cannot be white or dirty or trashy or ripped or too revealing.  hahah!  I'm serious!  It says so on my ticket!

See you soon!
Karen

sweet sunday sketch challenge #53

For my card today I dove into my new pack of Sweet Pea paper - yummolicious!!  I also wanted to make a fun Valentine's card that wasn't the traditional red/pink/white color combo - what do you think?  I just adore this little house image from Love Everywhere and thought it was so cute combined with the little mailbox.

Also, if you haven't played in last week's challenge, there is still time to enter your name to the Mr Linky box!  Since I'm away from my very precious laptop, I haven't been able to close the post.  So hop on over there and give it a go - or enter another card too!
