We are taking this week off to give us time to
catch up from all of the end-of-school-year/start-of-summer activities and craziness,
but that doesn't mean you can't be creative. Perhaps you can find
yourself inspired by all of our past sketches. Go have a peek at the
Flickr Photostream and find your favorite sketch, then come on back here to post what you've whipped up.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

MFT May <<< Release Rewind
Howdy! Have you seen all of the new and fabulous May products from My Favorite Things? All of the new products are available in the MFT Boutique right now and the design team is having a little Release Rewind party.
I am loving this new Let's Tool Around stamp set and paired the set with the coordinating Let's Tool Around Die-namics tonight.
I grabbed the Grid Background stamp and inked it up with Grout Gray Ink and stamped it on a sheet of Smooth White Card Stock. Next, I stamped the nuts and screws in Steel Blue Ink right over the top of the background stamp, and then added the sentiment in Factory Green Ink. I cut out the tools and stamped them in Steel Blue and Nightshift Blue Ink and then popped them up with some foam tape. I thought the top left corner was a little blank, so I added another little row of screws in Nightshift Blue and then added some Grout Gray splotches with the Jumbo Abstract Art stamp set.
Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for more inspiration from the other designers on the team.
And here are the fun products I used on my card tonight:

Tonight I made a card using the new Lightbulb Die-namics, along with Laina's new set, Watt's Up?
I started with a Smooth White Card Stock base and then stamped the Pinstripe Background, horizontally, in Grout Gray Ink. I cut out the lightbulb in Smooth White Card Stock as well and then sponged on some Lemon Drop and Banana Split Ink in the center of the bulb, working toward the outer edges. I cut out the coil and twisty base from glitter paper. Fun! The sentiment is stamped twice, once in Black Licorice Ink, omitting the LIGHTBULB, and then again in Jellybean Green Ink.

I assembled them and then used some Kraft Ink to ink around the edges of the tools. I stamped the sentiment in Electric Red Ink and then added a row of screws in Steel Blue Ink.
