SEVEN Days Until the MFT January Release!

Hello!  It's time for the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown and we have a FULL week of fantastic new stamps and Die-namics to show you.   AND we have some fun prizes for you too, so be sure to hop on over to the MFT Blog to see how you can win some MFT goodies this week.

I'm starting off this countdown with another fantastic set from Lisa Johnson Designs - LJD Love's the Ticket.

I started by cutting out the new Hugs & Kisses Cover-Up Die-namics die in Insulation Pink Card Stock and then layered it over a sheet of Electric Red Card Stock. The Ticket Note Die-namics are cut out from Kraft Card Stock and I sponged around the edges with Kraft Ink.  I added the sentiment in Electric Red Ink and then filled in the top and bottom of the ticket with the accent stamps from the set.  So fun!!  I cut out another ticket in Black Licorice Card Stock and used it as an accent layer to put the Heart STAX Die-namics on.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 200 + a Prize

Good morning!!  It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  This week, we are celebrating our 200th SKETCH!!  How crazy is that?  To celebrate YOU helping me stick around this long, I'm giving away some prizes!

How to win:  All you need to do is make a card (or scrapbook page, etc) using this week's sketch and add the direct link to your project to the Inlinkz at the end of this post.  Each time you enter a different project, you'll be entered into the prize drawing.

I made a birthday card using Party Balloons from MFT.

I started by cutting out a few Party Balloons Die-namics from some Smooth White Card Stock.  I added the balloon strings in Black Licorice Ink and the popped up the balloons over a Pierced Oval STAX Die-namics.

MFT December Release Rewind

Howdy! Have you seen all of the new and fabulous December products from My Favorite Things?  All of the new products are available in the MFT Boutique right now and the design team is having a little Release Rewind party tonight.  

I love the new Blueprints 10 Die-namics set and I didn't really use it during the countdown, so I thought I'd make a card with it tonight.

I started by cutting out the rounded base in Berrylicious Card Stock and then cut the dots out with the Polka Dot Cover-Up Die-namics.  The sentiment from Sunny Day Doodles - Be Your Best Self in Steel Grey Ink and then added the Sour Apple vine.  The color combo is Color Throwdown #272.

My next card features Laina Lamb Designs To the Point.

I started by stamping the sentiments in Grapesicle Ink on a Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics die (which I ran through my die-cut machine twice to double the ends) and then popped it up over a Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics in Smooth White Card Stock.   I added a trio of Berrylicious Buttons in the corner.
