Children's Challenge at Mo's DP2!!!!

Hello everyone! Todays is a special day for all of us who love Mo Manning's images: we're having a children's challenge this week at Digital Pencil Too open to "children" of all ages. So either you choose a child image or you ask your little ones (kids; grandkids, friend's kids, neighbour's kid lol) to make a card using a Mo image of their choice, everything's just perfect and we will be thrilled to see what you come up with!!!
So , you're all welcome to enter our "ANYTHING GOES KIDS" challenge at Mo's!

My first card today is the one I made for this challenge using a gorgeous image I've always loved and looked forward for a proper moment to enjoy playing with called Out there.

This card is really beautiful in flesh, it's such a pity my camera doesn't show it:( I'll try getting better photos these days.

Card recipe:

Image: Mo Manning- Out there and  Beach Elements
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: Jodie Lee- Faded vintage papers and some Doodlebug papers (the blue striped)
Embellishments: flowers/WOC and Ribbon Girl, charms from local store, sand and shells (stash)
Die-cuts: nestabilities label 8, Memory Box- Big Splash Border
Sentiment: computer generated

And today I also have my son Victor joining us at Mo's with this gorgeous card:

Please be indulgent with him, he's not even 4 and he was't in his best mood when he drew this but I'm pretty sure he's got some talents... he he:)

So, I must tell you he did everything himself: including the bow stuff, he glued it to the card, chose the embellishments and adhered them too. My only contribution was that of providing the card with the backing paper on and cut that fence he thought was really appropriate:). He cut his image off with a zig-zag scissors- luckily he's covered the edges afterwards with the ribbon:)) The thing is I'm really proud of him!

The image he chose is part of a set called Sailor Boys- I thought I'd let him pick the colors, well maybe next time I'll narrow down his choice of copics...lol.

Now, hope we've inspired you to join us this week at Mo's. If I hadn't maybe I'll ask my hubby to come up with something, I'm pretty sure you'll then lose all the inspiration lol:)
Thank you all for your visit today! Looking forward to see your/your kids' wonderful creations! Please take a minute to admire the beautiful cards my extremely talented colleagues at Mo's have come up with this week, starting with the challenge blog here. You'll also find there details about this week's challenge and the prizes you can win!!!

Till next time, sending big hugs to you all!

The weather has been quite strange here lately, can't really call it "summery", look forward for the hot and shiny days of summer!

For my card today I merged this beautiful Mo Manning mermaid called Mairin- which is part of a Little Mermaids Set , with a Coral Seafloor by Make it Crafty:

Flourishes GD- It's Summertime!!!

Hi there sweet friends! I took some time for myself this weekend and did some coloring; I have been rushing things up the past few weeks with cardmaking and my "non existant" spare time. So I was happy to just sit down and make some cards:)
This is my last week as Flourishes guest designer, I'm so thnakful the lovely girls at Flourishes offered me the opportunity to play with these gorgeous stamps! Thanks again!
This is a card I made with one of my favorite stamp sets ever!: Beach Life, which you can find here in the Flourishes Store.

The flowers are quilled, I also added some shells and corals and a  Memory Box border die cut for the waves.

Here are some close ups:

Today we have all of our fabulous Friends of Flourishes Team members sharing their “summer” inspirations with you!  Please take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers’ blogs.

Anything Goes at Mo's DP2

Hi everyone! We're having our monthly
challenge this Tuesday at Digital Pencil Too, so time to be creative no strings attached with a Mo image on, of course:)

I made a summery card; I had this image precolored and an extremely busy week; although I had in mind a Valentine card with a fab new Mo Manning image, this one would do for now. Perhaps next week will be a better one for me and my creative side:):

Those papers are glossy and I had a hard time taking a good pic; though it looks lovely in flesh. The sentiment is in Romanian, says "Happy Birthday!" I didn't have in mind a particular recipient for this one, I just realize I have just a few birthday cards and I always need more.

Card supplies:
Image: Mo Manning- Lacie
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
Embellishments:  flowers and brad/Wild Orchid Crafts and IAM Roses,  pearls/Bunny Zoe, ribbon and sunglasses/stash
Die cutting: Magnolia Doohikeys- grass border and flower, nestabilities- fancy tags, punched leaves

Now, before you start working on this week's challenge project , please take a moment and visit Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog to see what we have prepared for you, I'm sure you won't be dissappointed. Then, don't forget to color up at least one Mo Manning image in order to be in the draw for the 5$ shopping spree at Mo's store.

Thank you all for coming by today! Take good care!
Hugs,

Fave Mo Card for 2012

Hi everyone! It's time for our last challenge for 2012 at Mo's Digital Pencil Too and this time we would like you to look back at your creations and choose your favorite with a Mo image on of course and show it to us...again:) I know it's hard to choose, I just picked one which just  stuck with me, maybe because I love summer and warmth perhaps even more than the magic of winter and Christmas. So this is my favorite card for 2012:

Here's the link to my post, in case someone is interested in details. I just love this card!:)

I also have a new card to share with you. I kept this one simple in coloring, no shade or anything, these are cards I made the last minute and must admit I chose some images which required as little coloring as possible:)

Card recipe:
Images- Digital stacked papers from Digital Scrap Boutique
Coloring medium: copics
Embellishments: flowers/WOC and IAM Roses, bells/Cart Us, ribbon/Ribbon Girl, bird,snowflake/stash

That's it from me today! Look forward to see your favorite Mo cards/projects for 2012! I know we'll all be blown away with beauty!
Please take a minute to look at the gorgeous cards of my teammates. They really had a hard time choosing their faves as well but all their cards are just amazing!
Thank you for your visit!
Big hugs to all!
