Whimsy Magazine Guest Designer

Hi there, sweet peeps! A couple of months ago I was honored to be asked by Denise (thanks sweetie:)) from
Whimsy Stamps to join as guest designer for Whimsy Magazine January 2013 Issue . I'm really thrilled about this as I have never seen my creations printed before and now only I came to realize how beautiful and relaxing it can be to actually read a crafting magazine. I haven't bought one before as I used to be one of those pig-headed gals with preconcieved ideas who thought internet would be enough to fulfill her crafting needs but well, I now admit I see, admire and study creativity at ease with a printed magazine in my hands. Totally love the idea!

Here are two of my cards. You can see more in the printed version of Whimsy Magazine issue 11 which can be ordered here or in the online version which can be browsed here:

I have taken just this one photo and then gave away this card, sorry for the quality of this pic:(.

Whimsy Stamps- Guest Designer Contest

Hi everyone and thank you for stopping by my blog today!
I have a new card to share with you today I made with one of my favorite images by Sylvia Zet, they are so cute!
While I was checking out the Whimsy Stamps Blog Hop for their new releases I saw that they are having the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for their January 2013 Release. I am a big Whimsy Stamps fan so I thought I would throw my name into the pool and give it a shot, why not?

This is my newest Christmas card:

I chose the shaker type, cause everybody seems to love  them, especially the kids. I used lots of glitter and silver decorations to make it look bright and festive.

These are some close-ups:

All things bright and...Berry!

Hi there sweet peeps! I have another Christmas card to show you today, featuring one adorable stamp by Sylvia Zet. I've  bought several Wee stamps- I couldn't refrain not to, they are so beautiful- but never got the chance to color them up, I always put my DT work first.

Here's my card:

I wanted to make it look festive and added lots of gold and glitter. I used gold corrugated cardboard to cut out the lace with nestabilities Persian accents.

Card recipe:
Image: Wee Stamps- Berry
Coloring medium: copics, promarkers
DP: Cajoline Papers- digital
Die cuts: nestabilities- Persian Accents, grand ovals and scalopped circles, Marianne Design- Snowflake, Memory Box- Holly Flourish
Sentiment:: Tracey Brossart and Lilli of the Valley (Noel on the image)

Here's a close-up of the sentiment:

This card is for sale in my Etsy store here.

Thank you so much for your visit and kind words! Have a wonderful weekend!
