E is for... at DP2

Hi there sweet peeps! We're having a letter challenge this week at

Digital Pencil Too:  E is for....

You'll have Anja to thank for choosing this letter...he he. She makes the most beautiful cards, the one she made for this week is no exception:).
Now, that's an easy challenge for English native speakers... he he... I chose the easiest theme: Easter. I have made but a few Easter cards this year, maybe because the weather outside was not very inspirational either. If you have problems with finding words starting with E you can always make an easel card, do some embossing, or just add some embellishments:). I' pretty sure we won't judge the challenge theme very harsh on this one...lol.

Card supplies:
Image- Mo Manning- Easter Toddler Boy
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: Cajoline Papers
Die-cuts: Go Kreate dies, Magnolia Doohickeys lovely fence, nestabilities- grand ovals and classic and scalopped circles
Embellishments: flowers/WOC and IAM Roses, handmade embellishments
Sentiment: computer generated ( you can save it from below)

Here are some close-ups:

The swirls are made with wire and flowersoft and the chicken are made with pom poms, wire and beads. The eggs are from my local store, colored with copics.

I just love this sentiment!

Hope you like my card today; there's plenty of more inspiration on the DP2 challenge blog as all my teamies have prepared wonderful creations for us to admire this week too!

This card is for sale in my Etsy store.

Looking forward to see your "E" projects!:)
Thank you all for coming by! Hugs,

Lili's Little Fairies- Spring Colors

Hi everyone!
This is a short post just to let you know we're back with a new challenge at
and to show you a spring themed card I made this morning. It took me a couple of hours to put all those flowers together but I think it looks lovely. I used an older LOTV stamp I have never inked before and saw it so many times all over blogland ; thought it was high time I made a card with it:):

So our challenge for you this week is "spring colors"; now, it's up to you if you go with the colors of spring or choose a spring themed card; we look forward to see what you make, with a LOTV image on, of course:)

My card recipe:
Image: Lili of the Valley- On tiptoe
DP: Cajoline Scrap
Coloring medium: promarkers
Embellishments: quilled flowers, pearls from Bunny Zoe's
Sentiment: freebie from Hannelie here

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop here.

Thank you all for your visit and for your wonderful comments! Hope this brought you a lil bit of spring in your hearts cause , here, at  least, it's snowing and winter doesn't seem to leave us be:(
Hugs to all!

Mo's DP2- For the Women in our lives

Hi there sweet peeps! It's time for a new challenge over at
and my turn to host. I chose as theme "for the women in our lives" although "Women's Day" was two weeks ago I'm sure there are many girls/women in our lives to be celebrated every day. I made this card for my lil sister's birthday. I'm pretty sure she will peek, still it'll be a surprise because this card looks more beautiful in flesh:):

I prefer humorous cards for birthdays; thus they are always remembered; I used this lovely set Bethy's Wagon to put this scene together. You can find it in Mo's store here. There are plenty of combinations and works on nearly every occasion with all the accessories this set includes.
My sister and I use to speak English now and then just for fun, hence the sentiment below which I think works just perfect in our case:)

I did some quilling for this one. My sister loves to quill, it's one of her recent passions; I used to quill in the past but i got lazy and prefered to buy my flowers. Quilling takes lots of time and patience; but it's great for relaxation. The flowers in the lower right corner are called fringed flowers and made them with a special cutter and the others are also made with a quilling tool.

Card recipe:
Image: Mo Manning- Bethy's Wagon
DP: Samantha Walker- Rosie Collection
Coloring medium: promarkers
Embellishments: quilled flowers and leaves, pearls from Bunny Zoe's, ribbon, lace/Ribbon Girl, doily, pin/WOC
Die-cuts: Marianne Design- heart dies,  Whimsy pennants dies, punched butterflies
Sentiment: computer generated (in case you need it, you can save it from below)

This is my card for today's challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil Too. Hope these spring fresh colors will inspire you a bit. I've had enough of winter so far, hope to see these colors in the nature very soon:)

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Spring eventually...

Hi there, sweet peeps! I feel happy every year when I can actually drop my boots and feel all those signs of spring, sun and warmth and grass peeking out from the ground; this long winter has been so depressing for me:(.
I made a happier card today just to cheer up and think it looks lovely, it sure does, chromatically at least:):

Our challenge theme for you this week at Mo's Digital Pencil Too has been chosen by my sweet friend Pat and I'm pretty sure we all agree with her choice:

Now, I may not have excelled at ribbons on my card today but I know I can't imagine one of my cards without them:).
I love merging images and when I picked this adorable Easter Kiko from my Mo Manning files, this Make It Crafty background suddenly came to my mind as the perfect scene for her. I actually had to buy this digi again because I lost it from my older computer. But I just love those daffodills!

Whimsy Magazine Guest Designer

Hi there, sweet peeps! A couple of months ago I was honored to be asked by Denise (thanks sweetie:)) from
Whimsy Stamps to join as guest designer for Whimsy Magazine January 2013 Issue . I'm really thrilled about this as I have never seen my creations printed before and now only I came to realize how beautiful and relaxing it can be to actually read a crafting magazine. I haven't bought one before as I used to be one of those pig-headed gals with preconcieved ideas who thought internet would be enough to fulfill her crafting needs but well, I now admit I see, admire and study creativity at ease with a printed magazine in my hands. Totally love the idea!

Here are two of my cards. You can see more in the printed version of Whimsy Magazine issue 11 which can be ordered here or in the online version which can be browsed here:

I have taken just this one photo and then gave away this card, sorry for the quality of this pic:(.

Card supplies:

Die-cuts: Whimsy Stamps- Notables 3 Die, Party Time Notables 3 Die

And here's one of the cards I made with an adorable Elizabeth Bell image:
