wordless wednesday #7 2015

No WW entry for today. Saya rasa mau bercerita pula :) Jom layan cerita cuti-cuti CNY!
Last week, we had a long holidays break. But I have to work on Saturday tho. It was a tiring holidays for me. Lemme jot down my CNY holidays activities for future reading #forjadenandthia ^_^ At least, can senyum-senyum and enjoying all the pics taken during the CNY holidays...

1st day of CNY

Yeah! Today is the day to pungut 'angpows' at the Akiu's big family CNY gathering (every year they do have open house with different host). First angpows for Thia & it was Jaden's 3rd time receiving angpows during CNY celebration. Love the makan-makan session (potluck style) & bonding time with their families. My BFFs are also part of the family members :)

2nd day of CNY

The Ash Wednesday mass and giving of ashes has been moved to 20th feb (2nd day of CNY) due to clash with Chinese New Year. So we just lepaking at home with the kids. The hubby felt bored stuck at the house but me.....I'm loving it! Hehe. I really love spending time with the kids. Bukan selalu dapat 24hours with the kids, hanya hujung minggu saja...(aiii sedih pula saya rasa..hehe). We went to St. Simon Church, Likas for the Ash Wednesday mass at 730pm. 

3rd day of CNY

Today I still have to go to works. Jaden was with his dad & Thia at her nanny house. But I was excited since we will be going to Kuala Penyu later after I finished work with the whole family + my mum. The purpose was to visit my BFF Kuan's CNY open house. I left work early (with the boss permission) and off we go to KP. We reached KP almost 3pm and cari punya cari rumah si Kuan, nda jumpa-jumpa. Lucky my hubby did not 'meletup' but we're all feels hungry escpecially my Jaden, so we went to pekan Kuala Penyu to had our late lunch. After all were filled up we went searching for Kuan's house one last time. Luckily, my instinct said we will find her house and yes! at last we found the house.. adoi.. It's 4pm when we reached there. Makan-makan, chit-chat and we say goodbye at 620pm in the evening. We reached home at about 10pm ^__^. Lambat kan..hehe.. Actually we reached our place at 830pm tapi menyinggah lagi pigi open house. Sempat lagi kan...It was a tiring day for all of us. 

 

4th day of CNY

Jaden saw the sea along the way to KP yesterday. Balik-balik cakap 'mo mandi sungai'. So today we bring him to Kg. Notorus at my aunt's house to fill his wish :) Punya kesiokan si Jaden mandi manda sampai nda mau balik. First, we went to Fish Spa (yang mcm di Kg.Luanti, Ranau tu). Feed the fish so that they come close to you. But if not feeded pun macam the fish mau saja pigi dekat-dekat orang. Suda biasa mangkali. The place was run by the local with the help of Tourism dept. There was also a waterfall but we didn't went there. Since there were tourist arrived we moved further up the river to had our mandi sungai. Eh, I didn't get the chance to mandi since my Thia super duper manja with me. She don't want my aunt to hold her. Menyesal nda bawa my mum. Takpa next time la. So only my boys saja yang mandi manda..

it was a priceless expression when my mother put her feet into the cold river of sungai tambulion, k.belud. haha. terkejut my Thia sekejap, lepas tu baru la dia boleh senyum2. 

meanwhile, her big brother Jaden pula kesiokan mandi sungai sampai nda mau keluar dari sungai. walaupun badan suda begegar-gegar kesejukan :) mau juga dia tunggu semua orang habis mandi baru dia naik pi darat. it was a tiring day (since we were from k.marudu attending my bff wedding kan) but i love it when we can spend a little time with my mum and other friends. lagipun jarang suda kami ber-road trip ba. oh i miss my zaman bujangan! ngeh ngeh ngeh!

Busy As Bee

Since end of the year 2014 until now, I've been busy with the workloads. I have no time to blog often (in the office.. haha!). The company that I handled haven't been audit for like ages, so when the 'love letter' from LHDN sampai baru la kelam-kabut mo hantar docs to auditor (rolled eyes). Moreover, lots of the docs were missing and some needed to search on another company files. Nasib same office, if not menangis la mau pigi HQ lagi cari docs (lagi rolled eyes). Mana lagi mau layan queries from the auditor. Huh! 

I've missed blogging and sharing my daily story here such as updates about my babies development, what did I do during christmas & new year, my new year resolution (if any), my best friend wedding, first gathering in 2015.. Wah, macam banyak cerita...hehe..

Since today is Thursday Throwback let's view my best friend pics wedding back in Dec'14. I brought the whole family to my best friend wedding at Kota Marudu. I brought my mum with us. Brought her jalan-jalan di samping to jaga Thia. teehee. 

I just love their simple wedding celebration. The decoration was simple yet elegant. The food was marvelous especially bosou sayur (i don't know the english name for this local delicacies) Ahahaha.. I don't eat bosou at all but this bosou was an exception. It taste really good. 

Mandak, if you read this, "I wish you all the best in your marriage & welcome to bini-bini club ^__^ ". Hope my little Thia will get friend soon (wink wink)!

kundasang ~ in my heart (part 2)

let's continue my weekend getaway at kundasang..one of my favourite place on earth :)

after spending times at desa dairy farm and dream world resort, we visited the war memorial kundasang. i have been there few times but since my jie brenda never been there (same as desa dairy farm.. kesian dia kan?) jadi kami bawa la dia melawat tu memorial :)

we reached war memorial kundasang at about 9.45am and it's very hot compare to desa dairy farm! sampai my lil' jaden pun kesian kena panas yang sangat terik. i didn't bring to him to explore the memorial. my dear hubby yang jaga dia.

after exploring the new maintained memorial, we headed to perkasa hotel which is now upgraded to mount kinabalu heritage resort & spa. grand betul nama baru dia kan??

kundasang ~ in my heart!

hello y'all. it's been a while. my last post was about my weekend getaway! and here goes my stories...

when it's hot, it's gonna be damn hot. when it's cold, it's gonna be super cold! yes, i'm telling you about kundasang, where hot and cold weather mixed! me and my jaden got sicked after our holiday. i have 'running nose' and jaden have flu and cough. i'm okay now but my jaden still have cough + kahak :(

despite the weather, we're having fun during the short holiday but it was very tiring one. why? coz we have our lil' jaden holidaying with us this time ^_____^ bawa budak jalan-jalan jauh memang memenatkan...betul tidak?

ok lah, let me share the pictures during our short holiday to kundasang on 10th til 11th nov 2012.

our stay in kundasang. d'villa rina ria lodge. the rate is rm120 per nite with breakfast. siap ada car porch sendiri lagi. the lodge was ok but the problem is the sound of moving car! u still can hear 'em even 2 o'clock in the morning. damn! nasib my baby sleep soundly.

kesian my baby jaden, teda jaket dia.. sejuk lagi tu time kami naik mesilau :( just wrapped him with a blanket ba....poor baby! next time mummy buy u a jacket ya..khas utk pigi tempat sejuk..hihi...

the first light captured on the 11th nov at 5.49am. it was so cold that morning and could feel the wind breezing...grrrr....! we had our breakfast at the lodge before went to visit the desa cattle dairy farm.

see our background? nasib kami awal jalan. dapat tengo sebiji gunung kinabalu. fuh! teruja sangat since not much kabus tutup tu gunung. gunung kinabalu never failed to amaze me! and thanks to my photog of the day for the awesome picturess!

this time around the cloud has started to cover the mount. nasib baik la kami sampai awal di desa cattle dairy farm. kalau nda, gunung sudah diliputi awan-awan nano ^___^

jaden was here! (he's 4 months 2 weeks old)  i love bringing my lil' jaden mansau-mansau. can't wait for next cuti-cuti sabah, don't know when la.. 

maybe to this place? but the rate is quite expensive. hope we can spend time here someday. dream world resort is located just opposite the desa dairy farm place. we just stopped by to survey the resort. we only spend about 15 minutes there and off we go to visit war memorial kundasang.

from kuala penyu to tambunan

i'm going to tambunan tomorrow to attend the funeral of my sis-in-law's father-in-law funeral. my darling used to live with his sister's late father-in-law during his teenager time (he went to smk tambunan then). since my post will ada cerita sedikit sebanyak pasal tambunan, i'll share with you my journey (honeymoon trip lagi bah).  

yeah, it's been a tiring honeymoon for us. but we enjoyed it very much and will remember it for the rest of our life *kompom!!* ^___^ we have done mud volcano bath, watching sunset, visit the snake island and sandpit when we're honeymoon-ing at pulau tiga, the survivor island. memorable!!

on the second day of our honeymoon trip, we went to sawangan beach lodge which we have booked earlier to stay one more night in kuala penyu. i hope to catch the beautiful sunset like what we had in pulau tiga. but too bad it was raining heavily that time. so, i just accompanied my hubby lepas gian fishing at the sawangan jetty.  it was so cold - raining cats and dogs!!

the very next day, i hope to catch the sunrise but i don't have the energy to wake up early. hehe, still felt tired from the pulau tiga trip. so, aunt vicky (the owner) showed me the sunrise pictures from her computer, wahhhhh, i am so amazed on the gorgeous sunrise pics..gigit jari sajalah..there's always some day ba kan (yeah right, i forget my rosary at the cabin ~ have reason to go back there **grinning**)

we took off from the resort at about 10am & we decided to take the ferry ride (it was my first time using kuala penyu ferry service). i thought we have to pay the service, tau-tau no need mah..punya lucu kami dua. bertingu-tingu kami when there's nobody there to collect the fee when we reached the other side. so, apalagi pecut la kami (hehe...ingat buli buat F1 ka di jalan kampung?). i like the route rather than the usual route (membakut-klias road). it saved more time and less vehicle on the road. but one have to be very careful with the junction la. nanti nda dapat pula cari jalan keluar kalau terlimpas junction. luckily my darling know the route & we safely reached the junction to the main road.

reached home at about 1pm. rehat sebentar & un-packed & re-pack again for the tambunan trip.. fuh!! it's very hot la that day! near 3pm we make our move to tambunan. we reached at the town at 5.30pm & search for a motel. initially, we want to stay at tvrc, but then my darling bro-in-law suggested we check the new motel in town (forgot the name) tapi sungguh la mahal rate dia. maybe next trip la..hehe..so off we go check-in at tvrc. not bad jg bah...all bamboo based :)

after taking our bath, we proceed to my darling sister's house in nambayan. later on, we & his sister's family went to tngc to have our dinner. the bro-in-law belanja. after dinner, it's karaoke time!! yippeee!! the happy hour ended at about 11 something. it's time to go back and hit the sack..huh! tiring day for us! the next day we're not taking the usual route to go back kk. we're taking longer route this time which was my first time and i'm so excited :)

i guess tomorrow many of you will go back to your hometown to celebrate hari raya with families and loves one. happy holidays peeps! please drive carefully ya ^__^

gone honeymoon!

in few more hours, we will be going on a road trip for our honeymoon. the place that we gonna visit is one of my travel wish list ^_^. i am really excited & hope the weather gonna be good to us. clue: white sandy beaches & i'm a survivor :)

ba, happy weekend & ooooo i have a long weekend coz i'm taking leave on monday! woohoo....& tuesday is holiday! happy wesak day! bestnyerrr!
