wordless wednesday #7 2015

No WW entry for today. Saya rasa mau bercerita pula :) Jom layan cerita cuti-cuti CNY!
Last week, we had a long holidays break. But I have to work on Saturday tho. It was a tiring holidays for me. Lemme jot down my CNY holidays activities for future reading #forjadenandthia ^_^ At least, can senyum-senyum and enjoying all the pics taken during the CNY holidays...

1st day of CNY

Yeah! Today is the day to pungut 'angpows' at the Akiu's big family CNY gathering (every year they do have open house with different host). First angpows for Thia & it was Jaden's 3rd time receiving angpows during CNY celebration. Love the makan-makan session (potluck style) & bonding time with their families. My BFFs are also part of the family members :)

2nd day of CNY

The Ash Wednesday mass and giving of ashes has been moved to 20th feb (2nd day of CNY) due to clash with Chinese New Year. So we just lepaking at home with the kids. The hubby felt bored stuck at the house but me.....I'm loving it! Hehe. I really love spending time with the kids. Bukan selalu dapat 24hours with the kids, hanya hujung minggu saja...(aiii sedih pula saya rasa..hehe). We went to St. Simon Church, Likas for the Ash Wednesday mass at 730pm. 

3rd day of CNY

Today I still have to go to works. Jaden was with his dad & Thia at her nanny house. But I was excited since we will be going to Kuala Penyu later after I finished work with the whole family + my mum. The purpose was to visit my BFF Kuan's CNY open house. I left work early (with the boss permission) and off we go to KP. We reached KP almost 3pm and cari punya cari rumah si Kuan, nda jumpa-jumpa. Lucky my hubby did not 'meletup' but we're all feels hungry escpecially my Jaden, so we went to pekan Kuala Penyu to had our late lunch. After all were filled up we went searching for Kuan's house one last time. Luckily, my instinct said we will find her house and yes! at last we found the house.. adoi.. It's 4pm when we reached there. Makan-makan, chit-chat and we say goodbye at 620pm in the evening. We reached home at about 10pm ^__^. Lambat kan..hehe.. Actually we reached our place at 830pm tapi menyinggah lagi pigi open house. Sempat lagi kan...It was a tiring day for all of us. 

 

4th day of CNY

Jaden saw the sea along the way to KP yesterday. Balik-balik cakap 'mo mandi sungai'. So today we bring him to Kg. Notorus at my aunt's house to fill his wish :) Punya kesiokan si Jaden mandi manda sampai nda mau balik. First, we went to Fish Spa (yang mcm di Kg.Luanti, Ranau tu). Feed the fish so that they come close to you. But if not feeded pun macam the fish mau saja pigi dekat-dekat orang. Suda biasa mangkali. The place was run by the local with the help of Tourism dept. There was also a waterfall but we didn't went there. Since there were tourist arrived we moved further up the river to had our mandi sungai. Eh, I didn't get the chance to mandi since my Thia super duper manja with me. She don't want my aunt to hold her. Menyesal nda bawa my mum. Takpa next time la. So only my boys saja yang mandi manda..

yes, 3 days holiday break just lepak kat rumah. hihi..

melawat muzium

last august, me, hubby & Jaden jalan-jalan pigi muzium. it was my........ mmmm, i dunno how many times did i visited the museum. but for sure, it was Jaden first time visiting the museum. at that time, the main exhibition was focused on the national day theme. since it was the month of august kan. the replica of the big giant whale skeleton was kept there. the museum is a good place to educate our next generation of our legacy (especially for Sabahan) and for foreigner/tourists to see the rich and diversified culture and interesting infos about Sabah.

mummy was so happy to spend the day with you even tough only a few hours. but it's worth it. apa lagi kalau pigi those tempat yang jarang kena lawat. hehe. you behave well during touring around the museum. maybe the darkness of the place makes you feels creepy. mummy would love to bring you to the museum next time, and that time you'll have a friend that is your little sister. hehehe..

si jantung hatiku!

he's not in very good health lately. early this month, he had mild fever + vomiting.

and last week he's been coughing - batuk yang berkahak. kesian dia malam2 tidur nda selesa. 
but, thank God he's been better this week.
my friend said, budak memang selalu sakit ataupun 'cengeng' time dia mau ada adik suda ^___^ is it? hehehe....

ba, let's enjoy his awesome pictures taken at kinabalu pine resort. we stopped by this resort just to take pictures during our short vacay at kundasang last month. but sadly, no gorgeous mount kinabalu to be seen on that day. sigh!

next week, he'll turn 1year 9 months old. aiyooo, baby u grew so fast oh! but, nevermind, you'll always be my baby, dear jaden! mmmuahhh!!

Dantai Lodge, Kundasang

it's been a week since mh370 went missing. 
we still hoping for a miracle happen to mh370! 
please come back :(

ba, lain cerita.....to those who plan to stay overnight at kundasang you can choose this lodge as your accommodation. it's affordable and the place is safe for children. the place also suitable for a gathering or retreat since the surrounding is very calm & serene. 

i pinjam these pictures from the owner fb page :) the lodge were owned by my friend. it was her parent house that have been renovated & extended to become a lodge. siok kan ada tanah sendiri ;) di kundasang lagi tu.

lokasi dia adalah bersebelahan sk kundasang saja. siapa2 yang pernah pigi zen garden resort kundasang, itu la jalan yang menuju ke dantai lodge ni. but please bare in mind, the road is not very well maintained. you have to endure about 200m of 'off-road' kind of road :) luckily my kelisa is mini 4wd kan, jadi boleh la radu itu jalan. tapi have to be very careful la. you may see the signboard on your left few meter before the zen garden entrance.

nah, malu-malu lagi tu gunung kinabalu mo kasi tunjuk kegagahan dia. kalau sa nda silap mcm ada 4 lodge ba ni. jadi boleh ramai2 stay sana ;) can request for extra mattress juga (i think) siok! nyaman ni. the compound is so luas, no problem for parking.

every room has two queen size bed. can tambah one more tilam. hehe. spacious room it is.

there's adjacent room if you have a big family. sharing is caring! ^__^

ada dapur lagi so senang untuk acara masak2.

the toilet is clean and the only basic item they provided is soap. u may bring ur own toiletries. they do provide towel also. as for i always bring my own toiletries whenever i'm travelling ;)

a closer look on their lodge. siok bersantai di luar lodge ni. kalau ramai2 gathering sure heboh ni tempat. tapi since kami2 saja yg ada time kami stay sini, sunyi sepi saja la ni tempat. yang kedengaran hanya suara c jaden menangis :) haha
