Goodbye and a happy 2012!!

Tomorrow, December 31st, will be my last day as designer for Inkido. I'm a bit sad, but very grateful I've been given the chance to be a part of this terrific team! I've enjoyed my time here very very much; it has been such a pleasure to create with all the fabulous Inkido products!

I want to end my year with one last layout, called "Dear Santa":

Products used: Patterned Paper: Inkido's "Forever Christmas" (Winter News, Jingle Bells and Christmas Flakes), flowers, leaves and pearls.

I wish everyone a very merry and healthy 2012!!

Hugs,
Monique

First Walk (in the park)

For this layout I've been using all the scraps of paper I still had left from previous layouts I created (I can never throw anything away! not even the tiniest bit of paper!).

The page is about how we went for a walk in the park when our newborn (now 12 years old) was only 2 days old. I still remember how tired I was and how I wondered how I would ever get back to the house!

Furthermore I used the heart stamp, flowers, leaves, a butterfly, ribbon and pearls. Everything from Inkido (except for the letterstickers).

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend!

Tourist in my own Country!

Hi everyone!! For today I have a page for you using some of Inkido's older lines: Autumn Wardrobe (Tailored Stripes), Apples (Astrakan and Cox Orange) and Gammaldags Jul (Julhjartan), furthermore I used Inkido's flowers, leaves, charms, stamps and pearls:

The photos were made a few months ago when I had a day out with my friends and we visited Volendam. Here we're dressed in the local attire :-).

Best Friends

Hi everyone!!

Are you enjoying the summer just as much as we? When possible we spend time outside, like here on this photo where my youngest is playing with our dog in the garden.

I used for the this page three different lines: "Rosehage", "Forever" and "Forever Summer". Furthermore some flowers, leaves, charmes and some corrugated cardstock.

Here's the layout I made:

The photo is of my family, the 4 most  important people in my world :-)  and I LOVE them so much!

The photo was taken in Dubrovnik during our cruise last May.

I used the papers from the Forever line .... love these!!

Precious

This morning I showed you a page about my German grandmother (my father's mother) so I thought that now I would show you a page about my Dutch grandmother (my mother's mother).

I had such wonderful grandmothers and I find it such a shame that I don't have more photos of both of them. So the photos I do have are so very precious to me and I want to scrap them with the most beautiful scrapbook products there are .... Inkido's!!!

Used the "Rosehage" line for this page and don't you just love the stamp?!

Thank you for visiting Inkido's blog again today!

Hugs,

{ Oma Mutti }

Good morning everyone!

I don't know about you, but I don't have many photos of my childhood. So the photos that I have are very precious to me. Last week I've been scanning a few of those photos and started scrapping them.

Here's one of the approx. 5 photos I have of my German grandmother.

And a few close-ups:

For this page I used the "Forever Summer" line and the "Forever" line. Love them both! They are just perfect for old b/w photos like this one!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Fun with {Mum}

These photos were taken with my webcam on a lazy Sunday morning. I love Sunday mornings: a cup of coffee and quietly reading my e-mails .... but no such luck this Sunday. I knew my laptop has a webcam, but I just never use it and the kids wanted to show me how it works ... and about 50 photos were the result! Here are two of them:

The quality of the photos isn't the best of course, but I love the memory they represent :-)

The papers I used are from the new "Forever Summer" line. Aren't they gorgeous?!!!

Thanks for stopping by the Inkido blog and hope to see you back soon!

My Friend!

I find inspiration everywhere, so when I read this (Nigerian) saying: "Hold A True Friend With Both Hands" I knew what I was going to scrap about!!

Here's a layout about one of my best friends: Mieke!

And some close-ups:

I'm a big fan of stamps and use them on lots of my layouts.

I used the papers from the new line "Forever Summer". I LOVE these papers!!

A card for all purposes

Lately I love to use the negative spaces of my punched images as well. In this case I punched 3 butterflies and used the cardstock from which I punched the butterflies as the background for the card.

Because the "Rosehage" line I used is double sided I could use the rear side from the punched butterflies as well.

Except for the "Rosehage" line I used cardstock, a charm, a stamp, pins, a ribbon and pearls from Inkido!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Attitude!

Last week my daughter had a professional photographer take some photos of her .... here's one of those photos. I love the result, even though she looks much older than her 14 years ... (and as her mother I don't want that!).

And some close-ups:

For this layout I used the "Forever" line and the "Is This Love" line, the butterfly stamp, the "vintage frame 3" stamp, flowers, ribbon and charms: everything from Inkido of course!!

Thanks for visiting the Inkido blog today!

My sweet Jippie!!

I really really LOVE these latest lines from Inkido! They're just perfect for so many of my photos!! Last week I took some pics of my dog (a Cocker Spaniel named Jippie) in our garden. She had just been to the "doggie hairdressers" and looked so sweet! and these papers from the "Forever" line match the colors of the photos perfectly!!

What I also love lately, is to curl a piece of simple twine on my pages..... love the effect this gives. And you?? Do you have a new technique you love to try out these days???

Everything you see on my page is from Inkido (except for the twine and the staples)!! Aren't their products GORGEOUS???!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for visiting the Inkido blog today!

Another page about my youngest (I have so many photos of him in my "to be scrapped - box" :-)), also made with the "Is This Love?" line.

And a few close-ups of the charm, the frame diecut, the flowers and the butterfly stamp, gorgeous huh?

Thanks for stopping by the Inkido blog today!!

Love U

Last year, during one of our stays in some hotel, we had a bed with 6 huge pillows and two huge "covers/quilts" on our bed. Our youngest (who just turned 5 years old) had to sleep in our bed and almost drowned in it!!

a few close-ups of the title and the beautiful flowers (made the flags myself ...)

and a close-up of the ribbon and the butterfly charm:

Used the new Spring line: "Is This Love?" .... I LOVE this line!!!

Thanks for visiting our blog today!!!
Hope to see you back this afternoon!
