A box for my love letters ♥

Hi there everyone!

A new week, a new monday, and my turn to show you my contribution for Inkido's february challenge.

This time I want to show you a box that I made for my loveletters from my sweet husband. We have been together for 15 years now, and shared both good times and bad. Luckily most good ones :-) And he's my rock, my love and best friend. Sometimes he can be romantic ;-) and after all this years there has been some loveletters to. So I desided to make a box for them. I have painted a box with gesso, and decorated it with products and papers from Inkido.

Here are some closeups. As you might se I was inspired by the colors and the heart.

I would love it if you join Inkido for this challenge and shared you project whit us :-)

I used a corrugated white heart, painted it red, used gesso to soften it down and applied som 3D effect paint. The burgundy cherry blossoms are also from Inkido, and the green fasion flower got a good layer of matte gel and dry glitter to make it soft and shabby.

Shabby card by Karita

Hello everyone,
it´s Karita here with my very first post and Dt project for Inkido - so exciting!
First of all, I want to wish you all a Happy New Year - may it be filled with inspiration, creativity, love & happiness.

We have a great challenge for January with the beautiful mood board.
I ended up for making card and tried to make it like a scandinavian style, so I added gesso (my favourite stuff) to give the card a shabby look.

I used the "Blue Memories" paper from Beautiful Memories collection - so gorgeous paper.
And I fussy cut few butterflies from Butterflies Borders paper.

"

I just love these Cherry Blossoms Burgundy flowers, which are also from Inkido.

Thank you so much for looking!
Hugs, Karita

Two pages for July challenges sponsored by Inkido.

Hi, it's me , Bente saying hello to you here on the blog today!
I have a couple of layouts that I'd like to share with you. Both were made for different challenge blogs that Inkido is sponsoring at the moment. So you see there is always a lot of good things happening around our Inkido brand.

The first layout was my example for the July sketch over at OUAS where the Inkido DT is guestdesigning this month.

The second layout I have for you today is the one I made as an example for the Scrap for Help challenge blog. The challenge for July is to use bubblewrap on your layout any way you like.

Of course I used the new 'Beautiful Memories' collection and it turned out like this:

With so many photos I don't think I need to say so much more about these pages. I hope you don't mind this being such a photo-heavy post... I know that when I visit blogs I love  to see lots of close ups myself, and with two pages in this post,...well, that's how it's gotta be :-)

Hugs, and take care 'til next time !

Hello Sunshine.

Hi, Bente here today to share a steaming new lo with you with the glue just about dry!
I have made so many pink romantic layouts lately that I felt like making a different kind today. Conveniently I had a couple of photos laying on my desk from when my youngest sister and her family was visiting here. So I did a boy page,...( still with flowers mind you ;-) )

And here are some shots of the details:

I decided I wanted to try a different combo. Normally I might still have combined the blue with pink or white or something. Instead I decided to use some of those tan coloured leaves and flowers I received in my latest Inkido kit. I think they work pretty well with the boyish blue.

Those cute butterflies that I don't seem to ever get enough of, are cut from an Inkido paper and they really have so many that are great for fussy cutting if you are into that.

The woodgrain in the background was done using a bought mask.
If you still have not tried let me tell you it is so very easy and you could start trying with a mask that  you make yourself, or maybe a leftover from a chipboard sheet.
I promise you it is great fun!!

Finally, there is a sprinkling of half pearls in the right hand corner. The three colors come from the same package. I think they look so pretty and add an extra dimension to the page.
