GD Carla!

Hi!
It's time for a new GDT today.
Do you know Carla?
I think you do but if not here is some info about her;

·

I'm Carla Marchee and I am 41 years old. I live in  the Netherlands, together with my husband Marcel
and my two children. I am blessed to have two sons: one is 10 years old and the other one is 13.
I am a scrapaholic!! I love everything about this hobby...the fact that I am preserving precious memories, and love photography.
Seven years ago I started scrapbooking after reading about this hobby on the internet. I was hooked immediately: I have always loved to work with pictures and making picture off my boy's and had several other hobby's but scrapbooking became my passion.
             .
I love the paper with flower designs and what a pleasure  is to cut, tear and distress papers.  I do also use flowers on boy's layouts, because I definitely think that should be OK for a boy .I always try to improve my work, I try to invent new techniques and new ways to get the details even better.
Presently I am on the Designteam  My Creative Scrapbook

Knocking on heaven´s door

Hello Inkido´s fans!
It´s Larissa here to share with you some adorable creations using Inkido´s products.

This time I wanted you to take a closer look at Inkido´s Blue Angels cardstock paper from Beautiful Memories line.

Blue Angels paper

How adorable are these vintage angels!
They made me think of something lovely, full of grace.
Oh, yes, this paper made me think of Heaven and gave me the inspiration to try to capture the atmosphere of something as adorable as Heaven in a few projects.

"You are an Angel" Card

With one piece of this collage paper, I started creating a card I just needed a few more layers of Inkido´s patterned paper to put it togehter:

As you can see, I have added a few more resins and embellishments to create the perfect decoration for my card.

And that paper also inspired me to create another project - a book cover.

Knocking on Heaven´s Door Book Cover

I always start my mini albums and books by their covers and this time, with the help of Inkido, I have started creating a book that will  be all about the angels in my life.

I´ve framed the vintage angel´s picture with a door (a Prima Shabby Chic Resin Treasure designed by Ingvild Bolhme) and have included some cutouts taken from Inkido´s papers (butterflies, birds, flowers).

That´s it, after "knocking on Heaven´s door", I´m now able to turn these book pages and tell all about the angels in my life.
But that is another story I´ll tell you in another post perhaps...

I hope you liked these projects!
Thanks for your visit!

GD Marianne

Hi!
It's Bellaidea today with our new guest, Marianne!
She had a very cool idea about the  projects she made for us with Inkido products.
Marianne Ehlen 48 years, It´s so funny but I really didn´t know my age because I thought I was 2 years younger untill today..:) and we are living in a little place called Härkeberga in Enköping,

My lovely family who supported me to do scrapbooking is Ulf (husband) Ebba 13 1/2 years old, Abbe 10 1/2 years old and my "baby" Ebbe he is 9 years old.
(yes it is very important thoose 1/2 years, hihi)

I started with scrapbooking (seriously) summer 2006 and then I was hooked!!

I loved to do everything in scrapbooking, art, mixed media but NEVER EVER doing Cards, Well I have some Card Classes but It´s not my "thing"..

I got my inspirations from my kids, they are 3 pesons with 3 really different personalitys so everyday is another day, never the same!
Then I really loved to take photos. Specially Headshots.

I Think that faces have an own language.
I feel so good when I find the "special thing" in photos of my kids. I think It´s only me who can see the little things in every photo!

Then I'am thinking to study some english because this was the hardest I ever done in a long time :) big smile !!

Hopefully you can read and understand what I´m writing!

GD Sandi Clarkson

Hi!
It's Bellaidea today with our new guest, Sandi!

Hi, My name is Sandi Clarkson.  I'm married to a wonderfully supportive guy named Dan and we live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in the great state of Texas in the USA. We have 3 grown daughters, 3 wonderful son-in-laws and 16 wonderfully blended grand kids! I work part-time as an Audiologist in the medical field but scrapbook the rest of the time!  At least, that is what my family says! Although I have been a crafter of some sort all my adult life, my SIL introduced me to this hobby about 6 years and I fell in love! It is truly my passion and I enjoy every minute of it! Give me paper and some photos, and I'm in heaven! Thanks so much to Inkido for having me as their Guest Designer. It is truly an honor!

First, look at beautiful card Sandi made for us;

This time a beautiful page about beautiful little girl! Sandi is so lucky she has many photos of her grandchildren!

Thank you so much Sandi for your beautiful work, I hope you will visit us again soon with some more Inkido based project? :)
Product used on BOTH projects are :

Dreams

Hi there! This is Anupama with a new project
...my first ever journal cover!
I made this over the weekend for a dear friend.

How did I do my background paper?
Simple!
I chose the Butterflies Borders from the Beautiful Memories
collection of papers.
It has gorgeous motifs of birds, butterflies and anemones on one side and beautiful script on the other side.

I mod-podged scraps of this paper onto cardstock.
If you do not own a branded water-based sealant like the one I have used, there are any number of recipes for homemade ones on the internet. Just google and have fun creating your own!

The trick is do this quickly without much thought to achieve a random look.
Once done, you have your own unique patterned paper which can be used for art journaling, cards and tags.

A few close-ups -

The Blue Angels 12x12 paper is my favorite and it lends well to any kind of project.
Gesso + Distress Stain + Glimmer mists on Inkido lace

Hope this project inspires you to try something you have never done before.
Happy Scrapping!
