Hello Inkido friends!
This is my last post as a member of Inkido DT 2013.
Thank you all for this great year together - with a lot of fun, inspiration and warmth in Inkido family. I'm sure it will get even better next year, with the amazing new Design Team 2014!
I'm saying good bye with a layout showcasing an important December Swedish tradition - Santa Lucia day.
I have used a mix of traditional Christmas collection to capture the feel of this moment.
Take care everyone, stay happy and creative!
Hope to see you around :)

Vintage Christmas with a twist by DT Zanka
Hello Inkido fans!
Christmas is coming closer and closer, so this might be one of the last cards I'm sharing for this season :)
Vintage Christmas with Inkido- a twist I did here is that I've been using mainly non-Christmas collections ;) Do you recognise Beautiful Memories? How do you like it in this context?
Have fun trying some new ideas with Inkido!

Angelic and shabby - with DT Zanka
Hello Inkido fans!
This season's Christmas creations seem to be going towards shabby style for my part :)
Another card today with the pink, sage and vintage brows which I picked across different Inkido lines.
'Happy Christmas' the collection name is my favorite sentiment this year with the perfect size and beautiful font type.
Thanks for stopping by!

Traditional Christmas by DT Zanka
Hello friends!
Are you guys busy producing your Christmas deco? I only just started with this season cards and still looking for the main theme :)
I've tried a shabby style, now it's time for traditional Christmas set with gorgeous red, green and poinsettias. Inkido collection Happy Christmas has it all, including the greetings in few languages :)
Thanks for stopping by!

CSI # 93 by DT Zanka
Hello Friends!
As you have surely seen, this month Inkido is sponsoring a fantastic challenge blog Color Stories Inspiration CSI and our DT is appearing there as guest designers.
As a matter of fact, I'm a retired CSI detective, so I've put aside my golf bag and the gardening (or whatever it is the retired detectives do :)
I rolled up my sleeves and came back to investigate a tough case filed as # 93.
Eventually I came up with a funky, joyful story about my daughter struggling to learn inlines skating :)
Here's the CSI file
checked pattern
mixed media background
text pattern
string
My testimony:
I documented daring - efforts to learn skating
That's all from me for today.
Don't forget about our current challenge, a scraplift! You will find loads of inpiration in the Inkido projects, I can promise you that :)

Children in focus - by DT Zanka
Hello friends!
DT Zanka here, sharing today 2 Inkido projects where children truly are in focus :)
The first project is a layout which I prepared earlier this week, following the colour palette and a sketch from The Color Room (palete # 159)
Because I went for the dark background, I decided to lighten it up, adding some stencil and stamping. For stamping I used white dabber and Map of Sweden - yes!!! A tiny, unusual stamp that makes this beautiful crackle pattern ;)
The beautiful big rose is my fave and I use it over and over again. This is a piece from a collage stamp. I have couple of them always ready, stamped and cut out, just waiting to stick here and there :)
I also love the flower images in Beige Flowers paper, they are perfect for fussy cut and a great 'filler' in any flower cluster.
The second project goes towards light and angelic - it's a card for the baptise ceremony.
Here I used the papers from Beautiful Memories, both the 1st and the 2nd collection.
Thank you for stopping by today!
I will be back in October and present Inkido's October challenge! It's gonna be fun, stay tuned :)

Romantic layered card - by DT Zanka
Hello Inkido fans!
We'd love to see you playing with our challenge in September, hosted by Sabrina.
I thought it was a great way to start my September Inkido's projects :)
I saved all scraps of different beautiful collections that I have used earlier, which is just what I needed to play with Sabrina's challenge :) They are perfect for layers.
I made a card, layering few pieces of different Inkido's collections. I wanted to go romantic style and I would love to add a rectangular doily - instead I punched a piece of vellum with the border punch, creating a shabby worned out layer between the papers.
Inkido has a variety of beautiful flower stamps - I love the rose collage which I stamped 4 times on creme cardstock and cut out the roses to create a stamped bouquet.
I have added few additional pieces of diecuts from Inkido papers to add even more volume and airy layers.
Thank you for stopping by!
