My Last Project

Hi friends!
With this little card I want to thank you all for this year!
Thank you for your support and kindness you have shown me by visiting the Inkido blog and leaving comments!

This card folding are called "Magic Window".
All the stuff are available from PaperCraftScandinavia, as usual:)

When you open the card to see if it's something nice on the inside, occurs something in a little magical window inside the card itself. Two pennants are pulled aside so the motif of the circle appears.

Now I just want to wish you all a very Happy New Year, with plenty of time to spend in your crafting room!
Stay healthy and happy!
Hugs, Birgit

Christmas Greetings

Hello, well...first of all, as the time gets closer to Christmas, I like to wish you all a Merry Christmas!
This is my last post before Christmas here on the blog.
I needed something to put a gift in so I took a pretty ugly bag and fixed it with stuff from PaperCraft Scandinavia.
I apologize for the slightly dark pictures, it's so bad daylight right now.

First I covered it with a layer Gesso and adhered the papers. Then I went loose with the glue gun and lots of flowers:)

It is a pity that the red glitter is not so visible in the pictures, the red roses glistening just wonderful!

Well I hope you take some time for yourself too these busy days, stay crafty and bee happy!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!
Hugs, Birgit

The brown colors gives it a nice vintage look, and it is great with room for a personal greeting on the tag
Most of the accessory supplies can be found at PaperCraft Scandinavia

I let the angel wing to be outside the die cut frame to get more depth. And then the gold glitter, I love it!

Mistletoe Kiss

Hello dear blogging friends!
It´s Friday again and I´m popping in to share a center step card I created in a vintage - retro Christmas style.

I absolutely adore this image! I layered it in with some matching papers from the Coming Home For Christmas collection, lace, flowers and white die cuts.

The tag was also cut out from one of the papers and stamped with the stamp called "öppnas 24".

To finish of, I added 3D snow and glitter on top of the roses.
I had intended to show the inside, but just found out that I did not take any pictures of it. Clumsy of me! (If I have time I'll update later with a picture.)

Here is now the promised inside:)

I hope you will come back to see other fantastic projects made by the members in the design team.
Have a wonderful weekend my friends!!

Christmas Card

Hello friends!
I hope you have a great weekend planned weather it will be crafting or just spend some time outside enjoying some of the lovely autumn air .
Today I can share a new Christmas card. I combined a couple of the new 6x6 papers from the Coming Home For Christmas collection.

I decorated my card with a wide satin ribbon, some flowers, lace and a lot of Star Dust Stickles.
I think it becomes so nice with glitter to Christmas cards.

I first painted the chipboard star with white crackle paint, and then directly before the paint being dry I sprinkled over glitter.

Here is a peek on the inside.

Thanks so much för visiting! Hope you enjoyed my first Christmas card with the new papers. I promise that there will be many more, both by me but also by my DT friends.
Hugs, Birgit

You Are An Angel

Hello everyone and welcome back!
I decided to make a tag this time for my weekly post.

I started by stamping a text on the upper part of a tag and then sponged the edges.
Then I chose one of those lovely vintage images from Papercraftscandinavia and stitched it onto a piece of embroidered linen. I colored in a piece of  lace with pink distress ink. and added it to the bottom of my tag.

A sentiment was stamped and heat embossed. After I had cut it out and sponged the edges it was adhered together with pearls.

For the metal corner I used white embossing powder and heated in. I also added Pins, Pearl straw, Ribbon and a Flower with Stickles on.
Hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for looking!

Recycling

Hello and happy Friday!
What can you make out of an old milk carton?

Well, you can make a box house.

I made the box with a detachable roof which can be snugly fitted back on the top of the house shaped box, so that you can fill it with candy or anything else that you want to give away.

Yummy, yummi...

Here is the backside and the gable of the house, I used a lot of flowers on the base.

I added punchcrafted butterflies, the door and windows were cut from corrugated cardboard.

On the front top of the roof I made a tag by stamping on a paper heart, and then sponged the edges.

And this is the backside...

It struck me now that this was the second project in a row from me, where I devoted myself to recycling. That´s great! Hope you also got some inspiration and enjoyed yet another recycling project.
Hugs, Birgit
